Economy Inn of Zanesville

Traveling along 1 – 70 W and needed a place to sleep. I contacted the next door Best Western simply because I thought a chain hotel would be better than a local place. I’m glad I chose the Economy Inn!
Staff was friendly, check in was swift. $ 69.15 total for one night stay, in a single room with a king size bed. They offer smoking and non-​smoking. The room was very, very clean. The furniture is nice, and the bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. There is a fridge, microwave, tv, coffee pot, and free wifi. The bathroom is clean and the shower is nice. There’s even alternate softer lighting in the bathroom so you don’t have to deal with the fluorescent hell most hotels put you through. Bring your own shampoos though, the complementary soaps aren’t too great.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly. And you can’t beat the price.

My husband and I, along with our 1 year old, couldn’t find any place to stay the night for a break from our road trip. Everywhere was booked solid from the construction in PA for literally 50 miles. We stopped in at the Economy Inn as a last resort… It looked a little off the beaten path and the sign doesn’t give a great representation. Much to our surprise the people were super kind and the rooms were extremely clean. The king size bed was SO comfortable and the showers were better than half the hotels I’ve ever stayed at. (And that’s a lot) We also felt very safe. The price just adds to the list of great things about this Inn. Definitely on our list of places to stop for future road trips! It’s a hidden gem! Don’t be fooled.
