This place has always be a dependable stop when passing thru town. Our last 3 times coming have been horrible. The food has been consistently COLD. When telling the staff about it there is not a fix offered, simply an «oh». Meanwhile the manager sits in the corner eating. Not what I call good service or food. There are many places to stop and this will no longer be it.

Place was clean, service was fast, not overly friendly. Meat was a bit greasy on the tacos and the quesadilla was just OK. Usually I rave about Del Taco, this was just marginal so perhaps it was just an off day.

Shake machine down every time, no fires, or no beans. How in the world is a del taco out of beans? Keep an eye out for late night drug deals.

We have eaten here over the years. A while ago we ate there and noticed the food was better than ever. Everyone is nice, clean as can be and great food. I ask and guess a while ago management changed. The manager that is there during the day is kind, helpful and keeps his employees happy. The food and service are the best ever. Noticed also it is clean as can be. Noticed the change and the last several stops it is just getting better each time. For Del Taco customers this is a good one! We eat there more often now!

I had the Cali steak and guac burrito. I’m not from California… just passing through. Their menu board did not do a good job of explaining the burrito. It was stuffed with French fries… ugh…and there was guac at the bottom of the burrito only. I’m not sure I’d go back! Service was slow. There was construction going on at the front so you had to walk to the back of the restaurant to enter.

These guys are always awesome, one of the few fast food chains out here in the desert that I can count on for my food to be fresh!

Pretty much every time you go your order is messed up in some way(your fries are old, there is meat in your veggie burrito, your burrito is messy or not put together well, the female workers are often in a horrible mood and are rude, your food is cold, or your food is wrong or missing in drive thru). If you must eat del taco in yucca valley, eat at the other location next to mcdonald’s. Its cleaner and has better employees.

I generally avoid chain restaurants and especially fast food chains, but after our Santana’s fiasco I was complaining to friends about the lack of edible late-night dining options and someone said we had to try this Del Taco. I have to say, this place was a pleasant surprise. My favorite are the chicken Tacos Al Carbon with fresh cilantro and onions. Not what you would expect to find in a fast food joint. I’m also a fan of the Crispy Fish Tacos with lime and the Veggie Works burrito. Everything tastes fresh, the chicken is nice and tender and the beans are made from scratch. I’ve also tried the Grilled Chicken Taco, Cheese & Bean Burrito and the Spicy Jack Quesadilla — those were alright though not my faves. We always get takeout and the people who work here are great. They’re good about accommodating special requests and they get our orders right. I don’t know about other Del Taco restaurants but this one’s a winner!

Wonderful service!!! The workers are so nice. We arrived right before closing and they made us fries fresh for us, and not an ounce of annoyance came out of them. And the food was great! Highly recommended!

Service is slow and every time I’ve been there they’ve messed up my order. Go to the other one in Yucca Valley.

This is a great place to pick up some fast Mexican style foods for every hour on the clock. The staff is cool as far as I know(I’ve only ordered through the window) and it’s open 24⁄7

Love this place. Fast and friendly. Each time we go to Joshua Tree my husband and kids stop by Del Taco in yucca valley and we get our food hot and fast. Every time we order, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We always leave happy. Thank you Del Taco Yucca Valley.

I know being in Yucky Valley you really shouldnt expect much so I do not know why I am surprised. The bf and I went to pick up his dad from Joshua Tree for a fun weekend in civilization. Once we retrieved our person, we all realized we were beyond starving and since I have been craving Del Taco for months, the fact that is basically one of the only places to eat in that hell hole, it worked out quite well. immediately upon entering to order, we were ignored for multiple minutes by the ancient employees who were deep in conversation about some random druggie. Sweet. I just want a burrito. Finally someone takes our order. Not the brightest crayon in the box as we seemed to confuse her greatly with our order.(?) So the boys sit down and I wait for the snacks. As I am standing here waiting, I believe I see the cashier girl start to make tacos without washing her hands but I do my very best to ignore it. I also see that everything but our french fries is on our tray and while they continue to babble about their nasty friends, etc, I see there are french fries in the bucket ready to be eaten but assume new ones are being made which is why they arent being put on our tray. After about five minutes, girly scoops them and sets them on our tray and hands it to me. Of course I test them to see if theyre hot because now I cant figure out why she didnt do that five minutes prior having seen me standing there. Luckily they are, so I sit down to eat. After we eat, its decided the bf and I would love to share a churro. So once again, I go up to the register and am ignored for a full five minutes before the rudest, most talkative lady there asks me if I know what I want. «Yep, just a churro.» So the sweet, very normal looking drive thru boy rings me up and in another ‘short’ five minutes, I have my churro. My ending statement is: I know that Yucky Valley is basically full of nothing but druggies, losers and way too many Marines, but shut the hell up about it while youre at work and make some damn tacos with a quickness. Thanks. Love, Nadia

Okay, so I’m a recent college grad with a journalism degree that will most likely be useless for a while, and Unilocal is great to keep the writing juices flowing. Who knows, maybe someone at a major newspaper that hasn’t gone bankrupt yet will think my review of Del Taco #321 is so amazing that they’ll hire me as a super sleuth reporter. Or not… Oh well. Anyways, I normally wouldn’t review a chain restaurant but this Del Taco’s employees were so friendly and provided such excellent customer service that I couldn’t resist. I usually order the Veggie Works burrito, and I always expect the first three bites to be mouthfuls of tortilla until I finally hit something that might be guacamole. On the hot, miserable day that we decided to stop at this DT while on our way for a weekend in Joshua Tree, however, my faith in the edible Veggie Works burrito was fully restored. Not only did I get cheese, guacamole, beans and sour cream in the first bite, but all the ingredients had actually been cooked within the last five minutes. «WOW» was the first thing that came to my mind as I nearly devoured that 600+ calorie burrito. And when the nice lady behind the counter called out«Order #31!!» and ended it with, «Have a great day!!!» I actually believed that she meant it. Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing, DT #321 and maybe we’ll see you the next time we come around.
