Crickets Bar and Grille

Crickets is a nice place. Been there for the wing nite only. Wings are great sauces are all good and flavorful. The wings are the biggest around and for .40 cents you can’t beat them. Friendly workers and clean place.

I could have just as easily given this restaurant a five star rating – it’s a toss-​up. If you go in with the expectation that it is a dive bar with great dive bar food, it probably deserves a five in that category of eateries. My friend and I both had the fish dinner with THREE sides! Absolutely no complaints. Drinks were strong and appropriately priced. Great atmosphere for what kind of establishment it is. You can’t really go wrong if you’re looking for a nice «hole in the wall» kind of place.

Great food, fantastic service and some of the best local music in town… especially Wicked Whiskey Wednesday! Nice hometown bar with great outside seating and a BOCCE COURT! Always a comfortable place to be and hang out with friends!

The best part of this place is the service. Lisa was my server and she is the best in the business. I love when I get great service because that is few and far between these days which is sad.

Not my first and probably not my last review for this Bar and Grille that has the BEST OUTSIDE SEATING EVER and a BOCCI COURT!!! I go with my husband and our friends and I go out with my girlfriends and we really do ENJOY the nice summer nights on the outdoor area. The service is good and the wings on TUESDAY can’t be a bad idea any time of year. Great beer on tap and the servers are polite and «remember you!» And, that is always NICE :)

Crickets has a lot of plusses. A non-​pretentious, somewhat dumpy, neighborhood restaurant and bar, Crickets’ food is tasty. Waitresses are decent and friendly. Service can be a bit slow though. Full bar, credit cards accepted, very casual, under $ 10,
The hamburgers are very good, so are the fries. The onion rings are okay.
We go here a lot after meetings so there are usually four to eight of us. It is VERY noisy so that you can barely hear the person talking next to you. This is perhaps our only neighborhood restaurant so it’s unfortunate about the noise level because we want to go there to enjoy the food but don’t want to have to shout at each other. I wish they could install some kind of noise dampening system.
They now have a nice, rather spacious outdoor seating area with a bocce ball court. The only downside of the outdoor area is the fake palm tree (and sometimes too much cigarette smoke).
Crickets also supports the neighborhood groups clean-​up efforts by providing free food which is very much appreciated.

What can I say. The Drive In From PITTSBURGH to CRICKETS «is worth it» for so many reasons. Start with the bartender and servers… awesome. The owner is fabulous and the chef/​cool is Unbelievable. Your food is not only «authentic» it is brought out right away and piping hot. LOVE IT when they switch up those CRAFT BEERS for $ 3.75 a pint!!! And, the people in this bar/​restaurant are «friendly» and the place is CLEAN and we look forward to our next visit every time we leave.
It is the kind of place where the cook knows his job and adds the extra something even to a hamburger or sandwich. They are the best — perfectly prepared with pride. Try the Stuffed Pretzel for you will be sorry if you do not. All their food is fantastic!
