Oceanside Store

For the many vacationers nearby this is a nice little quick place to run into if you need some quick necessities… such as milk, sunscreen, bread etc. Prices weren’t crazy either. Swing in if you need something really quick!

It is far more than a convenience store. It’s a takeout joint across from the public restrooms on Long Sands. They are few and far between so an oasis despite its mediocrity.
Sweet young lady busting rump on a gorgeous Mother’s Day evening. She was working the front solo and did an incred job keeping up. I’m sure the cook was also bustin a move out back.
The menu will satisfy all, from pbj to pizza, fried whole bellies (they were tasty and not greasy!), to a fresh fish sandwich (hit his spot) and lobster roll (just okay), burgers looked decent, exceptional sweet potato fries and onion rings, salad offerings, and a lot more. The clam chowder was thick, buttery and enjoyed by some. The foodies were underwhelmed but your average Joe would dig it. They offer fountain drinks (coke products) and an extensive ice cream menu and shakies.
$ 160 bucks fed 11 of us (7 adults, 4 kiddos) so it ain’t cheap but it’s reasonable for what and where. Nothing to write home about but a decent offering.
Not for foodies but his the spot, quick enough and hugely convenient.
