Not sure what these other reviewers are speaking of but Ari is quite responsive when placing orders and answering questions about said orders.
Have had the pleasure of trying their food at various events as well as their bbq truck, the wandering que, pop ups. Food is insanely delicious. The pulled brisket is soft and not chewy with the right amount of tang from the homemade bbq it’s smothered in. Truly magical.
This year I ordered a whole smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and was kicking myself for not ordering two! Dark and white meat both were just succulent and moist, one of the best I’ve had that I’ve not personally made. They ran a special for each turkey ordered, an order of lamb bacon was added to it. Again perfection!
Cannot wait to place my next order soon!

Horrible. My father-​in-​law placed an order and it never came. They don’t pick up the phone or return messages. Stay away!

Absolute worst in my opinion! I made an online order; it was confirmed; I paid. I never received the order and they do not respond to emails or voice mails.

What a disappointment!
Parents ordered me food shipment for Hanukkah a few weeks prior.
They processed the order and never sent the food. Didn’t return phone calls and now parents have to contest the order with the credit card company.

The BEST Kosher BBQ! I’ve used Ari twice for corporate events and the food was amazing both times. I’d give a 5 star review except he is very hard to reach, does not return call and the food the last time was not delivered on time. Pricing is reasonable and the food came with plenty of utensils. If he was easier to reach and responsive, we’d use him a lot more. If you’re looking for amazing BBQ, he’s the man to call! Just be patient for return calls and start early with planning.

RIP OFF REPORT
I placed an order totaling over $ 200 on their website. 2.5 weeks later and nothings been delivered.
For 2-​weeks I could never get anyone on the phone and emailed them numerous times. I finally posted on their facebook page asking for a response and only then did I hear back and my comment was deleted!
They then decided to tell me I hadn’t included enough money for delivery but that if I sent more money then it would be delivered the next day. I paid the extra money and now 5 days later not only have they not sent the food but they haven’t even responded to my messages asking when it will be delivered.
I emailed the owner asking for a refund… No Respone.
I finally disputed the charge with the bank tonight.
The food may be good but I’d stay away from the catering business. Clearly being run by a bunch of amateurs.

Easily the best barbecue I’ve ever had, and hands down the best in NYC. On one hand I wish it were a brick and mortar, but on the other hand if it were it would easily develop into an addiction and I’d be twice my weight.
Ari has been doing his Wandering Que pop-​up restaurant throughout NYC, and after a few months of waiting I was fortunate enough to partake when he brought the Wandering Que to The Bayit in Riverdale.
I walked away with brisket, burnt ends, beef ribs, turkey legs, and lamb shanks. The brisket was the most moist and least dried out smoked brisket of any restaurant i’ve been to (Including Hill Country), and the beef rib was freaking amazing; it had an incredible sweet/​savory/​smoky bark. The lamb and turkey were both smoked perfectly as well. I nearly forgot the lamb belly bacon beans, which were also fantastic. I’m glad I bought extra because I’m going to crave this bbq for a while and will be sad when it’s all gone.

An entirely new world of Kosher catering that includes imagination, a love for the craft, and obvious respect for the client and the longevity of the community.
A game-​changer. If you hear these guys are catering an event; go to it. If you have an event; hire them. Just SO good.
