This is a great vintage roadside motel. I definitely recommend. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable(the most important things). The proprietor is very welcoming and friendly, very laid back and casual. This is not fancy, though, and the rooms are small. So don’t expect luxury — it’s simple lodging with some added bonuses but not the Ritz. One nice bonus — the well-stocked, 50-per-item little snack bar. A nice selection of board games and books. A hammock and fire pit for the warmer months(we were there in January). For the price what else could you want?! Plus I would rather give my business to a local owner/operator than some faceless chain.

Stopped here while driving from Texas to Massachusetts for a move. We were in a 16 foot truck with the car on the trailer and were able to park with no problem and no qualms from Jacob, who runs the place and lives at the motel. We were starving when we arrived and since downtown was a little more of a walk than we planned, he offered to drive us into town with no hesitation! Picked us up too! So awesome. The room felt like staying in a friend’s guest room — not your standard hotel décor. I loved it. An old arm chair and a couple of rugs, as well as colorful towels and little notes hanging around. Would return if we found ourselves in Hot Springs again! Plus, the key return was a PVC pipe supported by stuffed monkeys and just shot keys onto the floor behind the desk and I thought that was funny.

This Place is Amazing! So much character. Very affordable, clean, and everyone was really friendly. I was there in November and The motel is really close to town. We were there 3 days and 2 nights. I would recommend this place to everyone and will be staying here again. Can’t wait till spring or summer. At first I thought Norman Bates might be visiting, or an alien invasion. but for the record, I had never slept in a roadside motel. I was mistaken. I fell in love with this place, the owner and the staff. you are missing out, if you go to Yellow Springs and not stay here. Even the other patrons were amazing. met some new friends. seems to attract good people. Please request the bonfire. This is not the Ritz. but something much more valuable.

Another little gem of a motel in the funky town of Yellow Springs, Ohio. This may not be your typical 4 star hotel but it has all the amenities you could need, the rooms are cozy and close to town. I’m giving it 5 stars because for what it is, it’s first class all the way. The owner is very nice and tries to make your stay a good one. If I’m not mistaken this place even has a fire pit and a pool. Unfortunately I was there in November so I didn’t get to experience either but I would definitely roll through this cute town again and stay at The Springs!
