One word: unreal. I did not expect anything great out of this place solely because I am from New York and the city offers some of the best sushi out there. Wow was I wrong! I ordered the eggplant appetizer. Creamy, melt in your mouth eggplant with a miso glaze. Magnificent and enough for two for only $ 8. I also decided to go with the chef selection(assorted sushi and sashimi). I was presented with 9 pieces of sashimi and a ton of sushi. This was the freshest sashimi I’ve ever tasted. The pieces of sashimi are MASSIVE. I couldn’t even finish my entire plate, and that is rare for me when it comes to sushi. The raw scallop over warm rice and seaweed was the highlight of my platter. I wish this place was located in New York. One can only dream.

Best Sushi. Freshest and tastiest sushi and sashimi anywhere. Great ambiance. Very pricey, but well worth it. This is an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant and not a knock off Chinese/Korean/Thai place making sushi on the side. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Absolute perfection. Everything is always fresh. The sashimi is swimming; and the rolls are full of fish and light on the rice. The double dragon roll is melt in your mouth delicious – wonderful blend of fish and flavors. Super nice friendly staff.

I’m not sure I understand the appeal. It was pretty good and fresh. Very simple and not the best sushi I have ever had. I just wanted more for a minimum $ 20 roll.

The place is greater than great! I was there last night for the first time with my brother-in-law and his son. My brother-in-law has lived on the Cape for years and says it is his favorite restaurant. The restaurant is wonderfully designed in a small old building. The staff was friendly and the presentation of the food was very good. We tried just about everything. I felt more energized than full after we left. I could eat there every day. The miso soup was spectacular but every sushi selection we tried was very good and very fresh. You can’t go wrong

When I moved to the Cape from NYC last year, I was worried about not having any good sushi available here. Thank goodness for Inaho. I’ve eaten at Inaho about 5 times over the past year, and I’m always happy as a clam when I leave. The sushi tastes fresh and flavorful and has the right amount of rice. Favorite dish: Scallop sashimi. About 4 large, fresh and succulent raw scallops served in a lime cup tossed in a light roe and mayo-based sauce. I’m salivating thinking about it. I’ve been told to try another sushi restaurant in Chatham, but it’s hard to not go back to Inaho when we’re craving sushi…

Excellent food, service not so much. Been there 4 times now. Never once have seen the hostess smile or be friendly. The waitress who has an accent, could barely crack a smile. At this point, not going back. Too many other better restaurants around.

Best sushi I’ve had my whole life. Definitely fresh, and quality. Love it! It’s a bit pricy but worth every penny. I usually go at least 1 every 2 weeks. Must try their appetizer: crazy shots. So good! Love the rainbow rolls, miso soup. My favorite spot!!!

Both the food and service at Inaho are top notch. I always start with the miso soup and steamed dumplings, and usually get a go-to sushi roll then something exotic to expand my interests. Turns out I love unagi! It’s a definite must-visit on the Cape, especially for date night.

Super fresh sushi, excellent portions and great décor. It’s a little tough to find, but has a large parking area behind it. Definitely try the daily special, as the chef hand-picks his daily fish. Server Renee was great and very helpful as well.

Had a delicious mushroom soup and the sushi rolls were very different and interesting than the standard ones you normally see, which made for a nice change. Everything was very good; definitely a stand-out sushi restaurant. The restaurant itself and atmosphere were fantastic; very nice, fancy, clean, and I just loved how the wood is used throughout the restaurant.

When we got there, felt like we were going to someones house, off street parking, but once you got in typical sushi restaurant. Food was great. Finished everything. my lychee sakitini was kinda water down while my friend who had the pear sakitini was really strong. drinks werent consistent. Our waitress was really nice.

Long time customer for over 24 years. Tonight, once again, picking up take-out, completely ignored by familiar waitstaff. Abysmal manners. To feel so unwelcome by the owner chef and his staff, time and time again is a complete bummer. The wife started to greet me in recent years but tonight, nothing. I keep asking myself, is it really worth it? After a long day and with the anticipation of some delicious sushi, a warm welcome would be so appreciated. Inaho, you have lost a customer.

Must go place if you are sushi and sashimi fan! Tuna melt in your mouth and the other fish quality are all very good. The sushi sheff is Japanese and e knows how to prepare the best way to eat fish. Inside restraint is nice and clean. Very nice admathfear. I love this place!

I really dislike having to write a poor review. The restaurant business is clearly very difficult and I’m aware how hard people have to work to have a successful restaurant. But the owner of inaho is really just an incredibly unpleasant woman. This is a service business and like it or not you need to be nice to your customers. I made a reservation for dinner and we were exactly 12 minutes late for the reservation. The hostess/owner looked at our reservation and then looked at her watch and said she could now only give us the sushi bar. When I said we really wanted a table she said we were late and now that was all she had. I apologized and told her we would eat quickly no problem so she could accommodate her later reservations. She still made a fuss and only after several minutes did she very begrudgingly seat us. Will not be coming back. Sushi was just fair!

Definitely worth the visit at any time of the year. The sushi and sashimi is incredibly good and fresh. Very well prepared and beautifully presented. The food melts in my mouth. I also like many of the non-seafood items. For example, the miso eggplant is well worth it. Make a reservation in advance.

Still so good if not better. This restaurant exceeded my expectations not only in the quality of the food but the service as well. I wish it were closer to home but maybe it being a little further away is what makes it so special.

Amazing sushi restaurant. My boyfriend and I came here almost 2 years ago and we were obsessed with the toro. It was literally melt-in-your-mouth. I couldn’t describe it better than that! Probably best toro I’ve had. This time around, I was sad there was no toro on the menu :(but we still had a delicious meal. We really«balled out» since we haven’t been here in awhile and we just wanted everything on the menu. We ordered: –Shumai: wow, different presentation from what normal Shumai look like. And of course. They were delicious –Salmon and Hamachi sashimi: pieces were HUGE. Each order of sashimi comes with four pieces. We were not expecting such large pieces, but it was awesome. SOFRESH. –Unagi sushi: one order comes with 2 pieces. Yum. The first time we went to Inaho, we ordered the Unagi don and it was delicious. –Tuna Nuta: pieces of tuna with scallions in a miso and wasabi sauce? It was good. I don’t like wasabi so this was not the best dish, but it was fresh! My boyfriend loved it, so I’m sure if I liked the taste of wasabi, I would enjoy it too. –Salmon Kama:(this was a special) most people don’t know what this is… But it’s the cheek of the salmon. Inaho also has Hamachi Kama on their normal menu. The cheek of any fish is the best part, and most people don’t know how to eat it or know of it. It’s a delicacy… So if you find this on their menu. It’s a MUST. –Chef Sashimi Sampler: 5 different pieces of Sashimi. It was good, but probably could’ve done without this dish since we already had enough raw fish. Also, they put wasabi in each piece… So I’m not surprised it was more difficult for me to eat. –Double Dragon roll: YUM. Definitely get this special roll if you go. Not sure if there are many sushi places on the Cape, but this place is adorable. Make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you get a spot. The place looks like a house on the outside. Staff are all really nice and always come and check up on you. Overall, I love this place. A little on the pricier side… But you’ll enjoy it!

We stopped back in after a three year hiatus, and Inaho still pleases and then some. The sweet potato jalapeño maki is tops. It should be called«Sweet Heat!» We ordered three. Oishi. Yum!
