Nice taco stand near the fairgrounds. Stopped by for lunch and had 5 tacos and my wife a burrito. A young girl actually took out order which was a nice touch for a taco stand. The food was wonderful, we like the white beans in the burrito and the choice of salsas was very good. The fillings were hot and fresh. The tortillas where very good you could see them being made in the back. 5 tacos and burrito for 12.50, a great deal for a nice meal.

This barrio comes alive late night and tacos is what the locals crave! Safety caution as cars pull right up to the stand and yell out orders out the window. A «standman»(man standing next to stand) seems to be there just to smile and welcome. Another friendly señor taking jotting orders on a spiral. The luxurious amenity for this taco shack is plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your tasty comida. Burritos are stuffed with boiled beans — white and lite ;)

Stopped by on a roadtrip and went to the first place that looked like a decent taco truck. Had a few beef tacos, delicious. They have a do-it-yourself salsa selection too, so I flavored it up exactly like I wanted. The quesadillas are small(but they’re also priced a lot lower than I’m used to) so make sure to order 2 or 3. Sketchy looking, but it’s all good.

Mighty fine burritos. I hopped off I-82 looking for a bite to eat and saw this little place open for business. They serve pork, beef, chicken(and tongue!) tacos, burritos, sopas, quesadillas, tortas, and soft drinks, and they have Jarritos. I hadn’t eaten in almost a whole day so I ordered up a couple of beef burritos thinking it was going to take two to fill the void, but they are good sized and one did the trick, and the other will be a late dinner. Burritos are laid out on a big toasted tortilla, some rice, stewed beans, the meat of your choice, diced white onion and some sort of green garnish(cilantro, epazoate? tasted good!), and the salsa of your choice. Two red ones and two green ones, one of the green being habanero and the other one hot but not habanero hot, so choose your salsa from the squirt bottle and apply it liberally. The burrito was really really good, very filling and real tasty. Washed it down with a tamarind Jarritos, quite the meal to get me ready for another hour on the road back. Two big beef burritos and a soda for 10 bucks. The place is in what I think used to be a type of strip mall. Don’t let the looks scare you away, because the food is super tasty and the people there are real friendly. Skip the fast food places and hit this for some excellent food. They’ve got some picnic tables set up in front, and a couple of folding tables set up inside. Chow!
