*I expected too much, took almost 30 minutes for 2 burritos and they were good not great *The red salsa with cilantro in it is habanero, will knock your socks off *All in all, I am certain there are better places in Yakima for awesome mexican grub

Definitely a hot spot as it was hoppin at 1pm on a Sunday. Sadly, we ordered burritos, I thought I was going to get homemade tortillas but that must be for tacos only. Sides were great and salsas were wonderful. Burrito was okay but not 4 stars and the 30 minute wait didn’t help. Not bad but not amazing.

Surprisingly to me who was just passing through, I found Yakima has an awesome, vibrant Hispanic population and along with it wonderful food options. Taco El Grande rivals any taco truck on the West Coast. Great fresh made tacos with a nice salsa bar. The sopes and harachas are great too! Covered picnic tables make for an easy stop.

Delicious! Great homemade tortillas and delicious meat! The only downside was that they said they were out of a lot of the meat by the time we got there and it was only 4 on a Sunday. I had the tacos de lengua and cabeza and they were Delish! My husband had the torta de pollo and that was a huge piece of bread, but packed w/tons of deliciousness as well!

Excellent tacos and tortillas. My son ordered a burrito and he couldn’t even finish it it was so huge! I love their tacos, adobada is my favorite meat, son had the lengua and it was delish too. Highly recommend. They are very inexpensive and the people who work there are very kind.

Yum! My only regret with my order is that I got it to-go and it was so delicious I wanted more. I’ll be back!

Very good beef tacos with delicious homemade tortillas and a nice condiment bar with fresh cabbage, lines, cilantro and salsas ranging from mild to wild. My burrito was stuffed with pork, rice, cabbage and tasted really good. Several tables outside, which could use a good washing town. Definitely some authentic food popular with the locals and really cheap for the good food and generous servings. We ridded one too many burrito, however because we were too stuffed to eat another bite.

Delicious! We had the beef, tongue, and cheek tacos. All 3 were spot on. You can tell the tortillas were homemade. Beef was flavorful and just the right amount of crisp. Fresh topping selections: radish, cabbage, lime, onions, and sauces. Cash only. P. S. The drink place next door has good horchata.

Best Mexican I’ve had. Chicken burrito was great, but tacos asada were out of this world. Great toppings(cabbage, cilantro, radishes) yummy salsas, and a friendly atmosphere amongst the picnic tables.

Stopped for lunch on the recommendations of other reviewers. The house specialty is huaraches with your choice of meat. We each had one huarache and a taco with home made tortillas. Everything was delicious! The entire family seemed to be helping the truck so please tip generously.

This may have been the best burrito I’ve had in my life. The pork burrito, although huge, was not over filling with every component perfect: the fresh-made tortilla, the sublime pork, the cabbage, the rice, and sour cream all combined into perfection.

We stop here on our way through every time we pass through this area. I think the earliest we have eaten«lunch» is 10 or 10:30 in the morning. Yesterday we stopped in and had both the tacos Al pastor(with pineapple) and tried a hurarche, which is sort of like a giant masa fry bread topped with taco toppings, lettuce, salsa, crema, and cotija. Both were awesome. I give this place 5 stars for their hand made tortillas alone. Well worth the stop if you are driving through. Beats most of the Seattle Taco trucks hands down.

The reviews are right, this place is great! Yummy food, nice helpful staff, and a cute dog hanging around to boot. Recommend the tacos and adding some cilantro and green sauce on top!

This are the best Tacos I’ve had all week since I’ve been here in Washington. The toppings for the Tacos are fresh! The tortillas are hand made on the spot! The people are nice and friendly. I would probably be a return customer if I lived here… But I don’t so if I ever come back I will definitely eat here again. Highly recommended. Bigger than average handmade tortillas(single layer, but one fresh in the hand is worth two off the factory floor). Freshest, finest asst of onions cilantro, cabbage I’ve ever seen; self serve. Like cilantro? Pile it on. I was dissappointed with the lack of carnitas until I tasted the adobado pork; moist perfectly marinated, spicier than most, perfect to my tastes. Asada and cabesa were also very good. Jen loved the lengua taco, but said anything wrapped in those tortillas would be fine. I just hope that Fiesta Foods doesn’t drive this place under. The area can obviously support a fair number of relatively low quality stands and shops so I think they’ll be fine. The taco stand is attached to a particularly nice carniceria/panaderia. Beautifully butchered meats and some craZy huge chicharone slabs.

Easily the best taco I have ever had. The tortillas were perfect. I ordered 4 ate them and went back for 2 more. I couldn’t help myself. My wife had the burrito and said it was outstanding. Do yourself a favor, when your in the mood for real Mexican flavor in Yakima, stop and eat at Taco El Grannde

This is how a taco truck should be. Ok, ok, ok. So, I’m a bit of a taco truck connoisseur. I would totally bypass a hip and trendy Mexican restaurant for some succulent taco truck food. Now this taco truck was a post-fly fishing stop, and I’m glad we stopped here. I had a beef torta, two lengua tacos with home made tortillas, and a guava Jarrito. Ok, did you see what I typed: «home made tortillas»! The torta was alright. I’ve had better, but the freakin’ tacos were the bomb(sorry to go last century on you, but dang!). The lengua seasoning was on point. The tortillas & meat was the perfect combo – I should have just ordered tacos-only. This may be one of my favorite taco trucks yet.
