Great food, awesome service!
We were at the restaurant today, and as usual, the 99 restaurant presented us with delicious food, and an amazing server, who was very attentive to our wants and needs throuout our meal.
We will definitely be back again!

Just had lunch with a friend at the bar here and bartender was nice, drinks were good but when I ordered the Angus Sirloin Steak (ordered medium rare) it came out with a steak knife but turns out that steak knife was not necessary because it was not steak but actually was a piece of hamburger meat. I work in restaurants and am not one to complain but when I got the bartenders attention to tell her that it was just a hamburger patty grilled and not at all a steak she told me «well it’s a Salisbury» steak… if that’s the case then the menu should specify and the picture on the menu should not be a picture of a steak. I couldn’t eat it because not only was it just hamburger meat but also it was nowhere near Medium rare but medium well if not well done. When the bartender cleared the plates she mentioned that I clearly did not like it because I hadn’t touched the hamburger patty on my plate and I mentioned I worked in a restaurant in Boston and felt bad complaining but plain and simple it was not a steak and it should be clear that it is not on the menu and with attitude she says «well your in Worcester at the 99» and smirks and walked away. Not an attitude I would like for any employee of mine to have and I’m sure the company would agree. She was kind and compd the «steak» and we left a generous tip because I do understand it isn’t her fault but her attitude towards it was not apologetic and instead condescending towards us. End of story don’t advertise a sirloin steak when it’s simply hamburger meat.

Decent pub food. Not great. Honestly could have made at home the food that was on the menu. Nice people though!

Remodeled and re-​energized! Chicken pot pie is loaded with white meat and fresh veggies! Very tasty!

Ok so it isn’t fancy but a nice place to stop in and have a inexpensive meal. Except lately its gone so far downhill that I ‘m taking it off the list. The waitress service is either great or terrible, no in between. Food has really gotten bad. Things are either, cold, burnt or tasteless. Seems to take forever to get there then its cold? The white wine is warm, the place needs a facelift, its always clean but its old looking. Last night was the worst meal ever and I will be in no hurry to return. Reason # 92, cause eating out shouldn’t be a challenge. It was, it really was.

Great place. It’s been a while since I’ve been there for the last time. But I can say this place is still in my head as one of the places that gave me a memorable night. I miss those days a lot.
One of the fine restaurants I’ve been in Worcester, great food, great cocktail, and staff was nice too. Serving size is extremely big so many of you probably won’t finish entire dish but they are really tasty.

Nice staff though the older ones seem timid to talk to people who aren’t like them, or have a different style. Very friendly and attentive to your needs :)

I just wanted to say I’ve always loved the 99(especially this one) and it’s always felt homey and just plain nice. It’s clean, the food is great and the portions are plentiful. A great bar too! What stands out most about this location is the wonderful staff, especially, Sheerre, our waitress last night. My parents and I were there for a low key Easter get away later on in the evening and Sheerre truly went out of her way to make sure we were all satisfied and had a great time. This meant a lot! This type of extra great service just doesn’t happen these days. I’m so happy to have this particular 99 so close by!

What I like: the price and quantity of food you get. Quality isn’t too bad. I like that there are no waits and are usually quick to get your drinks. The food usually comes out pretty fast also.
What I don’t like: the mediocre service which usually comes with chain restaurants. I asked for a seat for my infant and she brought me a dining chair then looked frustrated when she realized that she didn’t listen to me. The waitresses are overall efficient but not friendly and most of them aren’t knowledgeable of the menu. I came in here one time and asked what the soup of the day was and she said «I don’t know, it’s on this page». Like, really?
With that being said, there was one waitress who was absolutely wonderful. She wasn’t serving us but she still made conversation with us and was constantly around her tables. Her name is Deb. Very sweet, and I was told she works both lunch and dinner shifts.
The $ 9.99 combos are great, and there are plenty of options for everyone. I like the steak because it’s a small portion so I don’t feel too guilty. I like the add combo feature and have a salad and then a mini desert. I really haven’t ever had a «bad» meal, so I’ll be coming back. Just don’t expect stellar service, otherwise you will be disappointed.

This 99 has great waitresses. Ask for Deb, she is hilarious! She puts a smile on anyone’s face! Food is typical 99 food, $ 1.99 Bud Select is a deal. Worcester is really lacking for good restaurants, 99 is great because it has take out and they always want your experience with them to be top-​notch so are quick to make up for any mistakes. Have watched games here when cable was unavailable and the atmosphere is always fun in the bar during games! Tons of TVs.

Decent food, local hangout, easy location to get to with plenty of parking. Food is comfort food offering good value at 9.99 for some entrees. Try their soups, seafood or chicken n corn. Yummy. Lisa is a great waitress.

I think the 99 is my favorite of the casual dining chain restaurant set. The food is decent, the interior is clean and modern, and the prices are reasonable. I also like the healthy options choices on their menu. This location is no exception — friendly service at the bar and a manager who actually went around talking to diners to see how their meal was. You don’t see that often in a chain restaurant.

What can you say, it’s the 99. When the choice is mine, I won’t pick a chain, but it wasn’t my choice. The service is polite and professional, the food came out quick. I had the lobster roll, which was quite large and came with fries and cole slaw. It is almost entirely claw and knuckle meat, I couldn’t pick out any tail meat, so if you are looking for some tail, this isn’t the place for you.
The good thing of course is day after a Sox win, kids eat free.

A typical 99 with good service and better than average food for a chain.

Solid fast casual chain restaurant. Good service. Best take out in the immediate area. Eating at the bar is fun. Best best: burgers, boneless chicken strips. Nachos were great but they have been off the menu for a couple of years now.
