Love this place! I always eat here when I’m in Worcester. Hope they open one up in San Diego soon!

Ordered a wayback burger, which is a double cheeseburger. Burger was very good, actually one of the best i have had. I also had fries, they were ok but not as good as the last time i was there. I would definitely go back again soon.

It is small business Saturday so I stopped in for lunch. Just a burger and a root beer. Great burger! Soft roll, juicy burger but not overly greasy. And they brought the food to my table. Stop in and check this place out. I’ll be back!

Gross! The food was no better than Burger King or McDonald’s. I ordered onion rings and it was suppose to come with the sauce and when It arrived at home with my order there was no sauce to be found ! If u want a burger just go to mcdees or bk cause that’s what there burgers taste like

Everything was fresh. Ordered the Rodeo burger and a side of chili cheese fries. Only thing I can complain about is that the onion rings in the burger were not crispy. Good juicy burger though.

I ordered the first burger on the menu because I was hungry and the pic looked like a grilled cheese burger. The place had a funny smell, like either cheap meat or spoiled meat was cooking. That was what we noticed when we were waiting for our food. Our burgers did not taste good. My grilled cheese burger had tasty buttery bread and plenty of cheese, so I was able to eat all around the edges of it. But between the bad smell of it and the lack of flavor and kind of bad taste, neither of us were able to finish our burgers. We were grossed out. The fries were edible, so we ate those and left. I did not try a shake, but I heard other customers saying those were good.

This is my favourite fast food burger. I get the cheesy burger with cheese fries and a shake(dairy game strong). Everyone I have recommended this place to has said it was fantastic. Also for some great reason they deliver which more places should do.

I have gone to this location around 10 times and their food is very tasty. I have tried their«Burger of the Month» many times, always good as well. Some of the food is pretty greasy, but I don’t go here looking for anything other than that.

Went here last fall. The burger was good. It was a solid burger and it filled me up after a long work day while I waited for my bf to get out of work. Honestly I think 5 Guys burgers taste better if we’re talking fast food. Not at all bad, just not impressive for the price. What DID impress me was the Pumpkin Pie shake they were offering at the time. Huge and absolutely delicious. So delicious that I’ll be randomly sitting around minding my own business and think«wow, I really want one of those shakes!» You have better options for burgers, but I heartily recommend the shakes.

Ok here’s a little about how good their cheesy burger is. I drive out here once every two weeks to pick up my daughter from New Hampshire. I PURPOSELYSTARVEMYSELFFROMNEWHAMPSHIRE all day when I know I’m coming out to be able to eat two of these beautiful creations THEN I take one home too. I know, it’s bad. I have eaten at many a burger place in my days, and in my opinion this ranks in the top 5 in the world. Idk what planet these other people are from or if it’s that they didn’t get the cheesy but this burger is AMAZING… No it’s not super fast service but anything this good can’t be… Yes the staff is millenials, the fries are … Fries, the shakes aren’t amazing but… I don’t care. More room for the burgers. Simply amazing. I do hope the owner takes care of these other folks complaints though. It would be a bleak day in the burger lovers world if this place didn’t survive. So please mr owner fix the complaints cuz I don’t want to live in a world that I can’t starve myself for a day to bite into your buns!!! Lmao! But seriously.

Ok so I should have listened to the reviews but I didn’t and that was a mistake. We got here at 6:30 am to pave the bike path behind jakes so all day the guys were talking it up. We’re not from the area so we’ve never heard about it till now. To the point… The meat on the burgers is pretty tasteless frozen onion rings and over priced. In comparison to 5 guys this is about as good as McDonald’s. I will not give this another shot sorry. Don’t waste your money go to 5 guys trust me.

Wish I could say we enjoyed this place, but it was just a step above McDonalds. The burger was very greasy and mushy. The onion rings were obviously the previously frozen kind and had no taste. Prices were sky high. $ 22.37 for 2 cheeseburgers a small fry and a small onion ring. We won’t be back!

Excellent cheeesy burgers, fries with and without cheese great, amazing shakes! The Irish nachos are better hot and the chicken tenders are just ok. But my 8 yo son rates the tenders great and the burgers and shakes the most awesomeness One of the BEST burger places I have went to in a long time so keep it up.

I gave jakes 1 star for its service and people who work there, the food is good and reasonably priced but the millennial’s that work there look at you like deer in the headlights no personalities what so ever after you order your food all 5 sit there with there backs to the customers and just chat away no people skills what so ever they just look at you with big saucer eyes like they have no clue

Double pattie bacon cheese burger was good and moist but lacked a bit in flavor. everything was fresh but when you have to flavor the burger with ketchup and mayo to get some flavor its just not a quality burger. The fries were the frozen type too. The shake was very good tho. For the money Jakes Wayback is way over priced. You can sit in just about any restaurant and get a topshelf handmade burger for about the same money. They are ok for a quick bite aka fast food style but not worth the money otherwise.

Woke up this morning craving a burger, so I decided to finally try Wayback. I arrived at around 11:30 to a mostly empty restaurant. Besides me, there was only one family there. The menu is interesting. There’s a great variety of toppings, similar to Five Guys. But they also have shakes, onion rings, salads, etc. I opted for a build your own burger with double patties, bacon, jalapeños, and Chipotle mayo. I also ordered a side of fries and a strawberry shake. It took about ten minutes to cook and be delivered to the table. I was immediately dissapointed when I noticed that they out cheese on the burger. Seriously? I just ordered a build your own burger. In doing so I told them specifically what I want on a burger. How do they mess that up? After peeling the cheese off of the burger I took a bite and was again dissapointed. The meet had absolutely not flavor. And there was barely any bacon. The fries were okay, but you don’t get many of them. Pros: Shakes. The restaurant is quiet, but that’s solely because there aren’t any customers. Cons: the food. The price. Portions. If you’re considering stopping in for a quick burger, just drive the ten minutes to Lincoln St and grab some Five Guys.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the beer battered onion rings are awesome! This place absolutely rules the burger world and you are failing as a human if you don’t eat here! Cheap and great food. Only thing that would improve it is a beer list!

My favorite burger chain and still one of the best burgers I’ve ever had — chain or not. Have been here 5 – 6 times so far. I usually get the double bacon burger. I tried the chili cheese fries today and they were great as well — one of the beef chunks was more like a meatball than anything else. They didn’t skimp on the chili or cheese as a lot of places do. I like this place more than Five Guys, more than In-n-Out Burger(though I’ve only been there once) and more than Red Robin(which is less fast-foody but is still a burger chain), though all of those places are also good for chains. The fries here are so much better than 5 Guys that I have no idea what is wrong with some of these reviewers. The 5 Guys spicy fries are the worst fries I have ever had and the plain ones have no flavor whatsoever(but it’s still better than the spicy ones). The Wayback burgers have more fat than 5 Guys, which actually gives them more flavor compared to the leaner-but-kinda-boring burgers at 5 Guys. If you prefer leaner meat, then possibly check out 5 Guys, but if you want flavor, Wayback is the way to go. Go in the entrance right next to Olive Garden and go straight back. Easy to find. I have yet to try any of their other locations, but will do so when I get the chance. Edit: I’ve removed some of the comments referring to other reviews. Sorry if they offended anyone.

I love Jake’s. The employees are nice esp the woman at the cash reg. I forgot her name. The milkshakes are so good and their burgers are great. They are a little pricey but its worth it. I like how you can choose what you want on your burger. The woman was very helpful explaining how all the meals, sides, toppings and combos worked.

A cut above! Saw this place next to walmart and been meaning to try it. Quite the tasty fresh burger. I got the Philly Burger with onio, mushroom and white American. Gwen had the Cheesy burger. The beef was excellent, nice fresh tasting roll. Also had beer battered onion rings. Classic frozen product but they were still very good. Price wise and quality they are on par with five guys, that us sticker shock for some but you get what you pay for I think. In a side-by-side choice at this point, I would pick this place over Five Guys. Have not tried the fries or chili yet.
