This place changed to new management! Food is not fresh and trays are all empty with few left over items. They don’t look fresh at all. I think is because I got here late and they will be closing in an hour. I’m not sure if it is a restaurant or a grocery store. If it is a grocery store, they have expired items. It is bad. Sorry I will not be back there anymore.

*sigh* …I so wished this place would have been clean and well kept with sushi supplies. Instead mostly ecpired bottles of cheap common asian sauces you can get at your local big box grocery store.

I had a poor experience here. I live in Dekalb, but was going to be driving by and thought it a convenient opportunity to pick up some food and groceries for my Filipina wife. She called ahead and gave me a list. When I arrived a few hours later, they were«out of stock» on the majority of the grocery items they said they had. I ordered 5 buffet dishes to-go. Three were decent(per my wife’s review), one was undercooked and tasted«like soap», and one HADHAIRINIT! I can do better…

This is my second home. Its like having a home cooked meal at your favorite aunt’s house. Love them and they would love you back!

The owners are friendly. Food is cooked well. They are Kapampangans, so you know they know their recipes! They don’t have everything you’d want in an Asian store, but they have the necessities to make your favorite filipino dishes!

My friend took me here for lunch since we were out in the burbs teaching me how to drive manual. The place is pretty unexceptional when you walk in, but the food is really good. I like the home-food feel of it all. They also have some asian goods, Pocky and Ramune, coconut juice(the kind with the bits of coconut floating in it). My favorite? The lechon — deep fried pork belly. OMG. ’nuff said.

I love this family owned store! Haven’t been able to find one as good since moving to Northern California.

This place isn’t hard find if you’re in the area. I actually happened to see it when I was looking for another Asian grocery store that is apparently out of business. Well, at least the trip wasn’t a total loss. I walked in not knowing what to expect. There are a few aisles of food, a row of freezers and refrigerators full of interesting and«oriental delicacies». There is a seating area with some tables for those who came in to get food from the small restaurant area. I didn’t check the menu or prices, but it certainly looked like Chinese/Asian food to me. Oh, you are also sure to see a few little kids walking around, and if a ball game is on during the 7th inning stretch, they will also sing along to Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Anyways, I don’t know much about Asian food, much less the Asian grocery, but the selection was decent given the size of the store. Most of the things I expected to find were there and they had a nice selection of noodles and various frozen meats. I will likely check out some other Asian grocery stores before I decide to venture back out here.
