Terrible service all around. Waiters seem to do you a favor addressing or servicing you. Original owners were great so the food is still from their original menu but since I tried going back a few times and it’s more and more disappointing every time. I’m a loyal customer and refer my family and friends to restaurants all the time. I Will never visit there again! Done.

Meh. Came for breakfast. The OJ is fresh squeezed. The coffee surprisingly not up to par. French toast was giant but nothing special. Bread that was delivered with the meal was obviously fresh baked. Service was friendly.

Had the Shakshuka breakfast here this Sunday am, ordered it because the name alone sounded interesting. It’s a Mediterranean dish that was pretty good. I like spicy and this breakfast dish was that. The spicy sauce had a thick consistency that reminded me of spaghetti sauce, poached egg and diced peppers, cucumbers and tomato, I believe. Price didn’t match the small portion though. My hubby ordered peach crepes, which sounded better then it tasted. Peaches weren’t fresh and if they were they added a hunk of jelly to it. If we ever return neither of us would order the same items. On a rainy early Sunday morning it wasn’t busy at all but as we left ~830am business started cranking. Made me wonder what people like about this place.

This is one of my favorite bakery’s in Woodland Hills for several reasons. First, I’m not even tempted to order french fries because they don’t give them to you with your sandwich. Instead you get a beautifully presented arugula salad or fruit depending on what you order I had a tuna salad sand. and was happily pleased with the freshness. If you check into Unilocal, you can also get a free chocolate chip cookie that I would definitely recommend warmed up! Great place-love seeing Rick Jarrett play for that jazz feel on weekday nights!

I walked in for a quick, late lunch by myself. As I came in, 2 other tables sat down too. The poor waiter was all by himself and now had 5 tables all at once — 2 existing and 3 new! He came to my table quickly, took my order and my food was delivered in a timely manner which surprised me based on the volume of business. One table was giving him a really hard time too — shouting at the waiter from across the restaurant and giving him trouble with the bill! My sandwich was correct which was great because I had modified a few things. And the fries were great! I know you don’t really think of fires as something that can be done wrong — but they can!

Came back after a negative experience and this time things were better. Service was much better and the food was really good Tried something new this time, the philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries. Was very good !

I got the croissant breakfast sandwich. It was a bit pricey at $ 11. When I opened the container it smelled like burnt hair, immediate turnoff to say the least. They had burned the egg really good, it was brown. Is that how they do it in France? Gee, I hope not, or France is scratched from my travel list. Anyway, I tried to eat some of it, but it ended up in the trash. I gave them two stars instead of one because they had a fully stocked bakery with lots of good looking items. I didn’t try any of them, and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to do so.

Went here today and unfortunately we were unable to try the food. Our ticket was never put in, and I’m sure it happens occasionally, but there were 3 employees and only 3 tables so I’m not sure why no one was checking up on us. We asked to check in on our order when we noticed the groups that came in after us already eating. We were in a time crunch so we unfortunately weren’t able to wait for our meal any longer. We were offered some pastries from their bakery to go, which was nice, but at that point we had to rush over to an appointment and will later decide to go elsewhere after. Sad! I was really looking forward to trying this place!

Pickup Order using Eat24 Got the Garden Omelette with Potatoes and the Crêpe with Peach filling. Everything smelled delicious. Omelette itself was large and full — Zucchini, tomato, onion, bell, cheese, mushroom all cooked very well together. Just definitely needed ketchup and salt, flavor felt average. It was exactly what I wanted though. Potatoes need to be thoroughly cooked. Outside crispy and flavorful, inside half raw… ruined. Peach Crêpe! Peach filling perfect. Crêpe itself? Too eggy! Could not eat. Very unpleasant and overpowering aftertaste. Want to say I’m used to slightly more flour? Not sure but there’s my two cents. Gentleman at the counter that helped me was very polite and the order was ready when I arrived.

Nice little neighborhood café with a large bakery case for takeout as well. Perfect little breakfast spot, they don’t have a large dining room but I’ve never had to wait long for a table. The service is friendly and efficient they serve all the go to breakfast items. I had French toast it was delicious, served with fresh fruit. The bakery case looked great and I will definitely come back next time I need something for a hostess gift.

This restaurant is just ok. Nothing particularly amazed me, but nothing was bad either. It seems like a good spot for breakfast or lunch if you happen to be in the area. Free bread and a small plate of garnishes were brought to the table first(feta cheese, olives, and butter). I ordered a chicken panini that came with a side of salad, so I chose Caesar. I was originally going to get a cup of soup but the waiter said they didn’t have anymore available [odd]. The Caesar salad was actually really good and the panini was good as well. Before leaving, I ordered a few pastries to go. I got a couple French macaroons, a fruit tart and tiramisu. The macaroons and fruit tart were tasty, but I was disappointed with the tiramisu. The cream in it wasn’t mascarpone cheese(what it should be made with). It tasted more like whipped cream and the cake part was a bit dry. If it’s not made with the right ingredients, don’t call it tiramisu. Although the pastries were visually appealing, I wouldn’t order them again. I did feel kind of bad for the 2 guy servers that day because it seemed like they were understaffed. Even though they were both busy, they were still polite and friendly.

The Service: Understaffed! During the brunch hours, people waiting in line. But there were only 2 servers taking orders and taking care all the tables including outside seating area. Hard to get good service because couldn’t get our server’s attention! Wanted to get my coffee refilled… at the end, had to ask the busboy to help me. The Food: Vege Egg Benedict — The eggs are cooked perfectly. All kind of mixed sauteed vegetables. Fresh ingredient! You have a choice of potato or fresh fruit on the side. They gave few slices of fresh bread with butter, jam and feta cheese. The Parking: Plaza parking lot(shared with other retailers) or street parking

Finally came back, last time I came here was early 2013 so it’s been over a year. My family and I came on a Sunday morning around 10 and it was crowded but we got lucky and found a table for 4 so we grabbed it right away. We ordered the following: Chilaquiles Our Way($ 11). It had tortilla chips their, «Famous» shaksuka(flavorless red sauce with some onions) sauce, scrambled eggs, cheddar and avocado. It was OK, the portion was big but it needed more flavor. I ended up taking ¾ of it home. When I reheat it, I will drown it in tapatio and jalapenos(they charge $ 1 for sliced fresh jalapenos) Cup of lentil soup($ 6) — It was good. Lots of celery, carrots but not enough lentils and a little too watery but it still tasted good. Chicken Salad, Salad($ 9). Big portion with lots of fresh veggies and their delicious sesame roll. You can see, feel and taste the generous portions of chicken. Kids Chicken strips($ 6). My kids liked it, it had three strips and French fries. Kids meals do not come with a drink. Pistachio and vanilla French Macaroons($ 1.50 each). Yum!!! That’s all I can say :) :) I used to always get 20% off coupons via text from The Baker, I need to keep an eye out for it so I can use it next time.

If you are looking for an excellent for breakfast or lunch then you must give this place a try. It’s the best kept secret in the West Valley. If you are a picky eater you will love this place. They have an outstanding vegetarian menu. The food portions are very large. This place is always busy. The service is outstanding. I highly recommend trying the french toast. They make their own bread that they all sell. The minute you seat down you get served with several sections of the home made bread. The prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. If you are looking for a large selections for breakfast or the outstanding panini sandwiches you are in for a real treat. If you are craving a salad you will have plenty of salads to pick from. I highly recommend leaving room for desert. As you have numerous outstanding cakes to pick from. If you eating in out take out you will be very pleased with the food quality. The service is outstanding and very polite. Hands down one of the best places in town for outstanding food and baked goods. You get 20% off when you check on Unilocal during the week. Service 10+ Quality 10+ Portions 10+

Great breakfast/brunch spot in the West Valley! Don’t be fooled that it’s in a strip mall, but the restaurant had a great menu and awesome bakery options. In my traditional American Breakfast(pictured), the scrambled eggs were great, turkey bacon was refreshing, the house potatoes were good(a little salty), and the fruit tasted fresh. Very good size overall. Fresh squeezed orange juice was high high quality. Pricey, but worth it(size-wise and legitimately fresh). Also tried some of the Brioche French Toast, and it was really good too. The portion was huge and the strawberries were cut up nicely. Went on a weekday and was seated immediately. They also served a complimentary Baker Bread Basket, with untoasted bread, butter, jelly, feta, and Kalamata olives. Interesting Mediterranean twist. When I’m back in the area around breakfast time, I’ll be there again.
