Love this little place. Food great. Very casual. Has outdoor seating or indoor. Downside is it is on an ugly corner and the parking is valet because there is no street parking. Also, they have limited hours.

I had the oatmeal and a mocha. Food was good but service took a while. Overall prices were ok.

Not often that you find a restaurant in which every item on the menu is good. I have had pretty much every item and I can tell you they are all winners. Highly recommend. Even has valet parking!

First time ever herr. I randomly found it on Unilocal and we lucked out! Yay. My friend and I both had French toast and coffee. The French toast was good. Nothing too exotic or amazing. I would try something else next time.(It’s simple, I’ve had better)(but I’ve also had worse lol) The atmosphere is nice. Server was very sweet. They are on top of the coffee refills which I love!!! I had plain coffee and the French toast… It was $ 17. In my taste not worth it. Just too pricey for something so simple. Valet is $ 3

I ordered the chicken breast sandwich with the salad and an apple juice. I do think the price is a bit high for the sandwich and salad. The apple juice was smaller than I thought as well. On the whole the food was still filling as the sandwich is big. I didn’t care for the salad personally. I also wasn’t wooed to come here again. There is one other sandwich I want to try and it is the meatball one. If I do order here again it’ll be that and I’ll give an updated review. Overall the food was good but not something I would go back for but that is just my personal preference. I do like that it seems like a healthy place.

I have been meaning to eat here for quite some time now. So many people have told me it’s a great spot for brunch. I happened to be in the area, so today for the first time I tried their almond crusted French toast and their avacado gluten toast with caged eggs. Phenomenal. I would definitely come back here.

Cute & tasty nook hidden off of the south side of Ventura Blvd, a bit west of Topanga. Friendly staff, strong coffee, and I recommend the Greek omelette with the house potatoes.(They may look like seasoned French fries, but they’re not, they’re cut in house.)

Came here recently with my daughter and ordered the whole wheat french toast. Great dish but they charge you an extra dollar for«pure maple syrup.» Really… for $ 12.50, it should come with pure maple syrup. The waitress said you get«table syrup» otherwise… that’s right, nasty, HFCS, GMO table syrup. You must be kidding. We were sat inside against the wall and after about 10 minutes, a table was moved literally one foot next to us and another couple sat down. It was basically like we were all sitting together, very awkward. I asked the waitress if this is how the tables normally are and she said yes. A few minutes later, the couple was moved to another empty table that was available the whole time. The bill was $ 30 for the two of us. The food was good but the nickel and diming and lack of personal space is the reason they get three stars. We also recently went to Humble Bee in Northridge. The food is organic, the portions are bigger, there is plenty of space and the french toast comes with pure maple syrup, no extra charge. Our family of four ate for $ 40 including tip.

I must say you can’t go wrong with this place except maybe for having to wait for a table. Food is always really good and slightly on the healthy side, me and my friends enjoy going for the relaxed atmosphere and fun staff. Became a big fan of Avocado Toast and Portobello Fries, Cheers Leo and Lily ;)

Finally tried this place yesterday at noon for breakfast on a date. Had about a 10 min wait. At first we were seated close to the parking lot and it was to cold. Kim moved us to the other side by the heater, much better! My daughter has been here a dozen times and said the Ben’s french toast was worth the calories. Both my friend and I ordered it without the nutella. The iced coffee is good, but needed splenda and cream to be up to my standards. Service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. Kim was a nice waitress. This is a very loud and small place so do not expect intimacy, the tables are way to close for that! The french toast was heavenly and worth every bite, although I couldn’t finish it all. Valet parking is 3.00. Get there early to avoid a wait, the place is really small. I will come back as the food was good!

I’ve been here twice for brunch. Cute spot but I’ve been disappointed twice with this slightly over priced place. Once with my eggs Benedict over cooked. They need to be slightly runny and my second visit I asked for my burger to be rare and it was well done. The French toast is amazing though. Breaded with corn flakes or something so it’s super crunchy.. I am not much of a sweets fan though so I would go somewhere else on my next brunch.

Definitely the best Benedict eggs I’ve ever had. This is the Mediterranean Benedict and it has roasted tomatoes, turkey bacon on top really fresh soft sour dough bread with perfectly poached eggs and the perfect amount of hollandaise sauce. You can choose a side of potatoes or side salad. I got the salad with finely chopped tomatoes, cucumbers with a lemony vinegrette, this was all so delicious I finished the whole thing myself and this is easily something that can be split. ;) It was $ 12.95 for this dish and I had along side an amazing mocha. I’m coming back and trying out their Turkey Burger next– I pondered my decision for like 10 minutes between the two. ;p The place itself is very cute with lots of outdoor seating under heat lamps but it’s unfortunate I had to sit next to these dudes with loud foul mouths that after 5 minutes of eating I got a tense neck. I couldn’t hear my daughter speak and she was next to me– the overall experience was great with the exception of them.

My friend and I were marveling earlier today about how there never seems to be a wait here. It’s kinda crazy how it’s still a really great secret. I live in the valley and hike at Topanga State Park often on weekends and this is our go-to after hike brunch/lunch spot. To those who said parking is an issue, side-street parking is congested, but a-plenty. If you have parallel-park anxiety, try a Ventura meter or valet. However, there’s usually a spot within a short walking distance. Today was the first time I decided to get lunch since I’m a breakfast lover. The food came out so fast and the Roasted Vegetable Panini is WONDERFUL. Its probably the best roasted veggie panini I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. The bread(which I found out is baked in house) adds a lot to the sandwich. I got it with a side of «spicy fries» — not spicy, by the way — which means that they have cajun seasoning. I’m more of a squishy fry person, so shoestring fries are not my favorite(super crunchy), but there was a subtle, cheesy topping, which was a nice surprise. Also, they don’t sell bread by the loaf, but I took a «bread basket» to go, which is about 8 – 10 slices for $ 3.95. Not a bad deal for fresh, baked bread. Didn’t get it today, but the Shakshouka is definitely recommended for breakfast.

So awesome. This is a small bistro, tucked away in a small part of town. You will miss it if you aren’t looking for it, and that’s a good thing. It is the best kept secret in town. Parking is a bit challenging but that hassle is totally eclipsed by the staff, the food and the price… I had one of the burgers, my workmate actually had eggs benedict(which is my kryptonite, i had a bit and wanted to get that to bring home). Bistro quality food and fast food prices and white glove service. How can you go wrong?

Convenient location, but unfortunately awful parking situation. Limited valet and scarce street parking at lunch time. Arnold Palmer is pretty watery for $ 3; not much lemonade or iced tea flavor happening in here. As far as service goes, refills? Slow. But my waitress Cecilia was very thoughtful in that when I asked one last refill on my Arnold Palmer when i got the check, she gave it to me in a to-go cup! Portobello fries are great. Crispy breading outside, juicy mushrooms inside; the creamy dipping sauce it comes with is a nice consistency but a bit salty considering the breading is already well salted. As much as i liked the fries the breading was heavy and by the end of meal i just wanted the mushrooms inside. Bun on my turkey burger came out soggy on bottom from all the juices. Goat cheese and grilled tomato were nice touches. Turkey was juicy and flavorful, but not as good as my current favorite basil shiitake turkey burger in West LA, but I’d say the best I’ve had in the valley so far. Greens add a nice depth of flavor but tended to slide out so by the end of my burger i had no more because the greens went from crisp to soggy from the heat. Protip: only $ 1.50 to upgrade to Portobello fries with the burger. Might be closer to a 3.5, but I’d give I’m rounding up, so maybe like a 3.75? If it was a better value, I’d be solid on that 4, but there’s just enough small things going on here for me to give fair warning about it.

I had the best turkey burger here with fries. The fries are stick thin which is not to my liking. They do offer valet and parking can be an hassle around this restaurant. The salads are really popular here too. The place can get really busy for lunch. The best recommendation is to be patient or arrive early.

Great service, awesome staff, great food, reasonable prices… What more can you ask for in a café? For all you bratty coffee drinkers, this café has both almond and soy milk. I asked for some on the side with my iced coffee, and it was free of charge! One thing though: apparently they charge $ 2 to substitute for fruit as your side. I was probably just not paying attention when the server told us this but it was bit of a shock when the bill came. I think the only downside of this place is their parking. It’s kind of atrocious during brunch time. Their valet is $ 2, but I’m one of those people who are really big sticklers for paying for parking. It might be because when I used to work in West LA, I had to pay for parking everyday… for $ 8. That’s just ridiculous. And so, I feel like I’ve been scarred by even the IDEA of paying for parking.

Great food, great service, with a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Been here several times and each time as been great. Everyone is friendly, and parking can be found on the street or within their lot which seems to be valet. Their homemade turkey burger is really good. I’ve ordered that the majority of the times that I’ve gone, but everything else seems really good too.

Came to this location a couple of time and I was pretty pleased with the food. A couple things about the staff which kind threw me off a bit: 1. After reading the sign in the front that says, «Please wait to be seated». I see a staff member waiting by the floor(looking like she is going to be greeting people who come in) THISWASNOTTHECASE, instead she just kept day dreaming into tomorrow. 2. After being told I could take a seat anywhere… I was then told not in the open seats outside in the back since there was not enough staff to allocate us if we sat there so we ended out sitting inside on a beautiful morning. As far as the food, came out in a reasonable about of time. selection tasted very good. Would highly recommend the small potates that they bring out with the food.

Looking for a breakfast spot close to our hotel in Woodland Hills, we found this amazing restaurant that serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Parking can be tricky with the limited number of street spots and the small adjacent lot, but the destination is worth it. The focus on quality ingredients makes up for the relatively small breakfast menu. The dish that instantly caught my eye was the Mediterranean benedict($ 12.95) with it’s crispy and salty duck prosciutto resting atop two slices of ciabatta. Perfectly poached eggs with buttery Hollandaise topped it all. Along with a side of roasted potatoes, it was an excellent savory dish to start the day. Equally as good was their omelette special filled with sausage, mushrooms, onions and gouda with a spicy aioli and crispy spinach covering it. A kid’s menu is available as well. An order of eggs was accompanied by roasted potatoes and a slice of bread. The kid’s chocolate chip pancakes were the lone disappointment. The chocolate was scarce among the three thin pancakes, although there were a few blueberries surrounding them.
