The All American Steakhouse

This place was just terrible. Five hostesses standing around, told us there were no tables. I went into the restaurant to use the bathroom, and half the tables in the whole place were empty, just dirty. So we left without eating

Great food and very good service. Food a 5 star, service a solid 4. Our filet mignon and prime rib were outstanding. The potato and salads sides were also delicious. Nice atmosphere with dozens of TVs surrounding the dining and bar areas. Very clean and professional. Priced right.

One star — for our server (sure deserved 10’s — she felt horrible). Despite THREE attempts, they couldn’t get our steaks above RARE. They started blue and by the 3 turn on the grill they were an amazing bloody rare.

Manager, she was horrible and you can tell why they have so many failures. Despite being there for over 2 hours and having such a bad experiences — she charged me for every drink and app on the bill. I’m not a dude looking for free sh! t… Buuuuut, really?

I ordered the surf and Turf with a rare steak. The steak came out raw. I sent it back, it came back raw again. I asked for a different steak (3^rd time!!!) and it came out more raw than the first 2!!!
Management had the audacity to charge us for the rest of the menu items that our group ordered. Every fucking item. Bill doesn’t know how to cook a damn steak. Not that hard Bill.
I will never be coming back and will tell everyone I know to stay away unless they want beef tar tar.

Best steak and LOVE their rolls :) Kid friendly and good prices.

The worst experience I ever had! Me and my friend sat in the bar area last night to watch the Spur’s game last night. I usually go to the Lakeridge establishment. Why did we go there the worst service I’ve had since it opened. It might be just new people, lack of training I don’t know, but we sat there for 20 minute’s! Waiter just walking by us serving everyone but us. Then when a waiter did come to are table he had one of the worst Sassy attitudes I’ve ever seen. He acted like it was are fault for having to wait on him to be served. I’ll never go there again Lakeridge is my spot for now on. I don’t know what there doing in Manassas, but their giving one of the Best Steakhouse and Sport Bar establishment’s a bad name. I have recommended and taken family, friends, and co-​workers to this establishment never again! For what it’s worth you’ve lost a loyal customer here…

good menu, decent prices, kid friendly! Over the years, I’ve had steak, the steak kabob, steak sandwich, chicken salad, steak fajitas and brownie dessert — all were great! service was a little slow this last visit but that has not been my past experience at all.

Let me begin by saying the All American Steakhouse in Manassas is really good. I called this one on a Friday night tp place a carryout order, and the phone went to voicemail 3 times before anyone answered it. The person who took my order was rude and dismissive. I was told the order would be ready in 5 – 10 minutes and still had to wait when I arrived. When I got to the restaurant employees were outside standing around. I ordered the apple bread pudding that I usually order from the Manassas restaurant but the one I received from this restaurant was disgusting. It wasn’t all the way done and was soggy and inedible. I will never return.

We went for the first time there on Valentine’s Day. The service was very good but the lobster bisque, mashed and baked potato, and steaks we had were really over-​salted. So much so, we couldn’t eat the soup or potatoes. The dining area was so stifling hot that my wife got really nauseous and had to meet me at the car. Had a lot of potential and so close by. It’s a shame but I don’t think we’ll come back.

«All American Steakhouse?! Sign me up!» were my initial thoughts as we approached the front doors. When you first walk in, you walk pass a window that appears to be looking into the kitchen where the grilling of said steaks are done, as well as a window where they display steaks they grill. I’ve never seen that at a steakhouse before.
Once we were seated, I looked over the menu and had no idea what I wanted. It all sounded so good! What I did notice was the lack of a porterhouse steak on their menu. How unfortunate.
Monday is Fajita Day, so their fajitas (steak and chicken) are $ 10. You can also add shrimp for $ 2 more. This seemed to be the favorite among my party.
When all was said and done, I ordered the Steakhouse Nachos as my appetizer, and the Surf-​n-​Turf with a baked sweet potato and vegetables of the day (zucchini and squash) as my entrée.
The service was good, and the food came out fairly quick. The nachos were delicious, yet not the best nachos I’ve ever had. Maybe top 10.
The Surf-​n-​Turf wasn’t as appealing as it looked. While the steak seemed juicy at first, it lost all taste towards the end. It was bland. The lump crab cake wasn’t that delicious, as well. Overall, it was a pretty bad meal, that actually left a bad feeling in my stomach for hours to come.
The burgers at this restaurant look delicious. Unfortunately I did not get to try them. Their steak, on the other hand, is not that great. While the word ‘Steakhouse’ appears in their name, I feel as though they are far from it.
I’d be willing to try them out again, but only for a burger and/​or their appetizers. I think I’ll order my steaks elsewhere.

Went with group, waitress came over to take wife’s order, wife asks questions, waitress answered, wife settled on dish, picked her sides.
Few people came in later had their orders taken as well. First group of orders came, then a 2^nd, nothing for wife. Friend asked how my wife’s order: «it’s coming soon». Another round of orders comes, not my wife’s. Ask again «oh it’s coming».
The late comers get their food where’s my wife’s dinner? «Coming». I finish my meal, get up and have to corral people «WHERE is her dinner?» They FINALLY actually check and discover order was never put in/​kitchen lost it. Idiots.
2 rules: if you take an order, deliver plates, and see an empty spot where an order was taken: Check on it!
If someone asks you check on their order: CHECK on it!

This place sometimes is good and sometime it’s ehhh. I mean the servers and greeters were all nice. It’s the food. It all depends who cooks your food I guess.
All and all servers were 100 food is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀

Charles B., one guy that’s good only to complain. Complains that it took too long to bring a salad (at this other restaurants’ review), Gee! Wouldn’t be nice that you were the only person on the planet and wouldn’t have to deal with others and never ever have to wait?. Can’t stand impatient people.
I went here for steaks and they definitely don’t disappoint. My first time here was two weeks ago and had never bothered to come because of its location, it’s in that part of town I don’t visit, but… there’s always a first time for everything.
Anyhow, I got the menu and decided for the rib eye but ask if they could give me a bigger portion than the one that was already cut, waiter said they couldn’t so I get the bone in rib eye 18oz. Asked for Med and the flavor was great, as close as it gets to the ones I grill at home.
A week later I visited my friend in Herndon and told him that I had finally found the place that had the best steaks in NoVA, well… he wanted to visit but there was no way in hell I’d drive back to Woodbridge and back to Herndon in ONE day. So, decided to google and voila! There is one in Ashburn.
Excellent, we went to that one and the steaks were excellent, had never had better rib eyes in NoVa and we’ve visited OUtback and Long Horn and both failed miserably, so bad that I haven’t been to those in over 10 years.
Burguer though, I had one because I wanted to try one but really wasn’t that great, so I’ll just stick with the bone-​in rib eye.
The staff members were great, but a couple of them (not ours in our visit in Woodbridge), needed to do a little smiling. The waiter in Ashburn was fantastic, very nice. Left the usual 20% tip.

Had company, so ordered 4 dinners to carryout after much difficulty trying to place order by phone — no language barrier except I honestly think the person taking my order has a learning disability. The order was wrong because they put more expensive items in, but I felt sorry for the young man, so just paid and left. No complaints about food — actually quite good!

This All American Steakhouse is pretty good! The staff here are really nice and most are helpful. I haven’t had a bad food experience except for the potato au gratin, of which were swimming in grease. The rolls they give you are good, but I miss the butter these rolls were marinated in. Overall the waiters are fast and the restaurants are pretty clean. The two issues I have with this place are the dim lighting and the old and outdated cloth on the booths. Other than that the food is good and comes out quick. My recommendation for here are the Fajitas. They are always good and cooked to perfection!

Remember those Val-​Pak coupon junk you receive in the mail? I was bored one day and looked through it and found a coupon for this place. So the hubby and I figured we could try it out. Definitely not disappointed!
The food is amazing; hostesses are wonderful, and the servers have been very attentive and great. Not bad…

Ordered prime rib w/​gratin potatoes and veggies of the day (squash and zucchini);
Sirloin w/​veggies of the day and lobster bisque soup;
Got some hot, fluffy, soft dinner rolls (omg I want some now);
and buffalo chicken wings (crispy, good amt of sauce, laid on a bed of crispy fries)
Second visit:

Ahi Tuna Salad
Dinner Rolls (so amazing; I just thought of Chris Farley’s crazy restaurant dinner roll scene in Tommy Boy lol)
All delicious, amazing, steak was tender and cooked just how we wanted (Med Well).
Will definitely come back again and try the NY Strip. Nom nom. Go try it out!

I love the food here. It delicious and always tastes freshly made. I have eaten inside the restaurant and I have gotten the food to go. With both experiences I often encounter fast and friendly service. I have only been here during the day when its not too busy. The best time to go if you dont like crowds or loud noises is to go during the day.

An American Steakhouse in Woodbridge and I was starving so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was completely forgettable and it is doubtful that I will make a repeat visit.
The restaurant is loud, really loud and there are numerous TVs and a juke box. The environment was not relaxing or inviting at all. My server was attentive and nice. She brought us some warm bread which had the promise of being good but I didn’t think that it was quite cooked all the way through.
My son and I split the 14 ounce ribeye and a loaded baked potato. The steak was a disappointment. It was not the succulent ribeye that I had envisioned. In fact it was thin and not cooked to the medium temperature that we ordered. I’m sure they would have re-​fired the meat if I’d asked but, remember, I was starving!
If I lived in the area I might make a repeat visit just because it has potential to be a decent neighborhood wateringhole/​dining spot but I will not drive out of my way to revisit the All American Steakhouse.

Friendly and very attentive service, a really good place for steaks and sports. Many TVs to watch various sports while you chow down. To start off the dinner rolls are fantastic. They are freshly baje, out of the oven HOT. Even better they are served with honey whipped butter. This alone is worth stopping by!
I had the prime rib with creamy horseradish, made perfect. 2 signature sides with your entrée, I went with lobster bisque and a loaded potato, both also good. We order the buffalo wings but it didn’t have enough sauce to coat them completely, a little disappointed but it change my overall positive eating experience.
If I find myself back in this area, I will come back for the steaks as they are prepared correctly and you get your fill. You include the service and the dinner rolls, it is worth the visit and drive.
