I have ordered curb side twice since my previous review and am pleased to say that the service and food came out great. I am glad that it has gotten better and I will be returning in the future.

Short story, terribly disappointing, not worth going back, forever. Read on for the long story. So it starts that I really wanted a good steak tonight. The wife says she has a gift card for Outback and we have not been in quite a while. I remember having good steaks there a long time ago. What ever happened I do not know. I was really hungry, ordered the 14oz ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes, which I’ll get to in a minute. They brought me a seared, not fire grilled cut that not only didn’t look like a ribeye, tasted like a sirloin. I don’t like to complain much so I started chowing down. The more we talked about it, the less pleased I became until I questioned our waitress if they served me the right steak. To their credit, insisted on bringing me a new one even though I had eaten half of it. Brought me a close to well done replacement that was at least fire grilled this time, but about equally as disappointing. Also paid the premium price for the loaded mashed side dish, what a joke. Maybe 5 bacon bits, a few scallions with a tablespoon of sour cream with a serving of cheese you would feed to someone who was lactose intolerant. I keep forgetting to take photos damnit. Cocktails were awful, so weak. Not often I see my wife not finish a bacardi & coke! Wife’s pork chop was really good though. All things considered, I was truly disappointed and am not likely to ever go back!

A nice chain restaurant; with quality food. Nothing to really set their steaks apart from the crowd.

To sum it up I was in Outback for almost three hours trying to get something to eat. The main problem was I ordered the prime rib medium rare but they had no medium rare prime rib so they tried to give me what they did have. I sent it back. Then the waitress returns with the same prime rib and give me some story that the cook said it WAS medium rare. I said it was most certainly not. Then the manager came back out with the same prime rib and finally admitted they had run out of the medium rare so they were giving me what they had. I told him it was unsatisfactory. He then said that it was the best they could do. I told him I didn’t want the steak cooked that way and if it was the best they could do they should have told me 40 minutes ago and not when they were bringing out my steak. So I had to get the menu back and ordered a different steak and they overcooked that one and it was cooked to order. Apparently the prime ribs are somehow made in advance. Anyway I got in the restaurant about 6:00 pm and it was shortly before 9:00 pm when I finally left. I’ll sure think long and hard before I go back there!!!

Yes 5 Stars. Let’s make this short and sweet. I Took the Mrs. out for an early Anniversary/Valentines Day dinner, on 2÷13÷16, and we had a great time. We had about a 20 minute wait, at around 8pm. Not bad at all. We both ordered steaks that were cooked to perfection. Service provided by our waiter Sam was excellent, and he’s pretty funny too. What more can I say? Great food, great service, & an overall great experience.

5 Stars for Outback Steakhouse? I myself can’t believe it. My wife wakes up and looks at me and yells«It’s Valentine’s Day and I want steak!» I would be a great fool to argue with a pregnant wife on Valentine’s Day so I start Unilocaling my options. I was hesitant on Outback at first because every damn time I go to Outback I leave a tad less happy. I realize it’s because I always order the wrong thing. I either get chicken, a salad, or something fried. Screw it! I’m ordering a damn steak this time! Forget you Bloomin’ Onion! You’ve disappointed me for the last time! The wait was over an hour but we immediately saw 2 open bar stools. Success! 30 second wait on Valentine’s Day! BooYAH! I ordered the 24 oz. Porterhouse cooked rare. Holy Zeus on a cloud! It was amazing. It was so soft and juicy I probably chewed it slowly with my dang eyes closed. The Mrs ordered the 9 oz. Victoria Filet Mignon. She probably enjoyed it. Who knows. I was too busy having a religious experience to notice. Never again will I order anything other than a gigantic hunk of cow still mooing off the dog gone grill when I’m at Outback FREAKING Steakhouse! We were both so stuffed and satisfied from dinner that when we got home I wasn’t even required to perform. BESTVALENTINE’S DAYEVER!

Alek(with a K!) was a WONDERFUL server at the Curbside Takeaway – best I’ve seen in a long time! I arrived and was very pleasantly welcomed, given a menu, and had my order placed promptly and accurately. We chatted while I waited and he even gave me a free large Coke to sip while I waited. The order came out perfectly, faster than expected, and piping hot. He thanked me profusely for the visit and offered a sincere wish to come back soon(not the canned«come back again» response you usually get). I don’t live near Potomac Mills but shop and visit near there a few times a month. The closest Outback to me is less than 3 miles away but the service and quality have deteriorated horribly. I will be back soon as long as Alek is serving the customers with the same excellence I experienced. He is a gem!

I haven’t been to an Outback in over 10 years. Partly because the one where I used to live had lousy service and part because I didn’t think the menu was anything special. So when I received gift certificates I figured free meal, what the heck. I took the wife and kid to the Woodbridge location on 5:30 on a Saturday. After a very short wait(5m at most) we were sat by a warm and friendly host and an a very cordial waitress. Service/order was taken quickly and appetizers and drinks were quick. Main courses were pork chop for me, sirloin for the wife and steak taco for my daughter. I tried all three and they were really good. Meats were well seasoned, moist and cooked medium well. Above par experience overall. I will be back.

Blooming onion is good. French onion soup and the chopped salad are very good. The 3 course meal is a good deal. Their prime rib and lobster was amazingly good. Sitting at the bar is quick and easy. Plus they have a big screen TV with a bunch of other TVs to watch. It isn’t loud either so it is a good atmosphere to converse and watch. The bartenders compared to the other tables are pretty quick. Plus it is easy to get their attention! I think the delays were primarily in the kitchen. The salmon is good. Mac and cheese side is average. Cheesecake is a very good desert here.

I went to out back tonight the service was excellent but the food i ordered medium rare and my porkchop came out literally raw. But before receiving the main course we ordered the famous bloom and onion and a salad after eating the bloom and onoin me and my buddy were bothing geting sick. This doesnt even deserve one star and to top it off they made us pay for the whole meal doesnt make sense when the customer cant even eat the food your serving and cant even stop getting sick to pay the bill. Good job out back i dont review places but this needed to be said

I LOVE Outback, but have not been able to order a draft beer from this location in over a year. Something has got to be wrong with the system… its dirty or there are temperature issues. In any event I fear its simply not being maintained properly. This issue has steered me away to All American steakhouse because I absolutely love draft beer with a meal.

Giving 5 stars because Eric, our server was on point. He was so incredibly nice and always brought out food and refills(for the shrimp) and drinks before we even asked. He overheard me tell my family I didn’t like how my steak was cooked(wood grilled) and he came right over and asked if I wanted a different cut. By then I already ate more than half my steak. How amazing is he?! The cookie with ice cream is delicious…

I don’t even know where to start. We ordered drinks and an appetizer when we were situated. The first thing to come around the corner was the appetizer, not our drinks. As delicious as the bloomin’ onion looked, we couldn’t eat it because the waitress failed to give us plates and utensils/napkins. We asked for plates and silverware and it took so long that one of us went up to the hostess and asked for these things. Twenty minutes later our drinks arrived, which was also accompanied by a young waiter with an attitude. Our food orders weren’t taken until almost an hour into our stay. We informed the manager about our dining experience, who in turn told the GM. He offered to take care of the bill, but we didn’t want to stay any longer. He understood and was okay with us walking out. I do not recommend this restaurant solely bc of the staff. The communication between the front house and the back house was off.

I ate here with my father for dinner. Ordered the Merlot and 9oz sirloin with a caesar salad and a baked potato. My father ordered the same exact steak with fries and veggies. My steak was a little undercooked, but I still ate it. My other complaint is that it was tough to chew. Notice the size differences between our steaks. Same cut and size was ordered. Not impressed at all, even for an Outback. I like the one in Waldorf MD better. The waiter we had kept trying to talk over me as i tried to order. He needs to just take one minute to listen. I’m asking for sour cream, not a to go box. After we got our food, he hardly even came by the table. Service was not very attentive, gets one star. Food gets two because the potato was perfect, and potatoes are my favorite food. The wine was alright. Too sweet for my taste. Probably won’t be coming back. Servers name was Wesley

STAYAWAY!!! Very ghetto, bad service and the food wasn’t that great either. The teenage boy with the attitude was the hostess refused to sit my date and I in a booth, because it wasn’t his job to clean off all the dirty tables. Then had to see him sit the next five parties in booths. Anyway, not really a big deal, just annoying that the manager there can’t even make sure his restaurant’s tables are bussed in a timely manner. My biggest issue was the service I received from the waiter. Didn’t get his name, a very tall/skinny young black kid. He was a total joke and left us stranded the entire night and after what seemed an hour he finally brought the drinks, but never showed back up to ask if we needed refills. We didn’t have silverware and I had to go up to the bar to ask the bartender for some(while my food is getting cold that is). The food was very blah for the hundred dollar bill they gave me. I really blame the manager for this mess. he or she obviously didn’t care what was going on in their place of business or how their staff performed or did their job. The only good thing was the 20% off the bill I gave myself when I only tipped the waiter a dollar. P. S. the food does not even look anything close to the pictures that Unilocal has posted.

After a day at Potomac Mills, my wife and I decided to get something to eat, we both love Outback and decided to go there. I really can’t remember exactly what we ordered. I believe we both for steak. It was pretty good. As we were finishing up, I looked over toward the condiments and out crawled a cock roach. I pointed and said, «ummm. «we both got up, rather quickly and told the waitress. Without skipping a beat, she grabbed a dirty napkin from her tray and squashed it, said a quick I’m so sorry and disappeared into the kitchen. A few minutes later, the manager came out and profusely apologized and ended up comping our check… Being the only reason I decided to give it two stars. They were professionals about it and assured us that the exterminator that comes monthly would hear about his displeasure.

Last night I realized why I don’t visit this Outback more often… the staff are super friendly but the service is super sloooooooooooooooow! I called ahead and put my name on the list 1.5 hours ahead of our arrival. We only had one hour to eat before Watch Night service at church. We still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Really? The place was packed! When we finally sat, my sister was starved. I had already had a late snack so I wasn’t that hungry. My sister ordered crab and avocado dip with chips for her starter and the tilapia tacos for her meal. I ordered the onion petals(half a bloomin onion) for my meal. My sister also ordered a coffee and asked for a lot of cream. It took a while for our waiter to bring us water. About twenty minutes later our appetizers arrived, along with her coffee. He only brought 3 creams so my sister kindly asked for more. 10 minutes later she has to ask the waiter for the cream again. Now her coffee is cold. Grrrr. So he brings her one cream. No joke. Just one. It was hilarious. He sat it on the table as if he was doing something nice. Lol. It took another 20 minutes for my sister’s meal to arrive. By that time, she wasn’t even hungry anymore. We asked for a to go box and left.
