This is really just a place we order from when we feel for Thai but don’t feel like going anywhere. The food is hot and there is plenty of it, but it’s a bit on the bland side and, wow, how many times have we called and the number isn’t working? A quick pop over to their FB page(trying to see if their number changed) revealed that others had the same problem getting through. It’s a head scratcher. I wish they weren’t the only game in town(anyone want to correct me– I’d love a better delivery suggestion!)

We used to order there every week, than they made mistakes in our food more than once, never paid us back but the manager said next time. We decided no more next time. The food used to be great but not anymore.

So I usually don’t let one visit make or break a restaurant. Often I see someone who has had quite a few positive experiences dong a place harshly for one bad night. The food here is above average for a Thai place but it also depends on what you order. Some good and some not as good. I’ve been here about a dozen times over the past 10 years. It’s not my go to or else I would come more often. I do see a trend however. Sit down customers are treated better than take out customers. I’ve been about 50 – 50 sit down to take out. For those who say it’s upscale I chuckle a bit. I don’t think they are trying to be upscale and I certainly don’t consider it upscale. It’s average for a Thai place unless some people go to dumps. The problem here is the take out. They are not very friendly and as another couple people have mentioned they do not provide napkins or utensils yet the prices are above average compared to restaurants of this type. They also tend to be noticeably Les friendly to the carry out customer. The main issue is that take out is a much higher portion of their business than done in. Every time I have gone there is at least a 2 – 1 ratio of customers who pick up food versus the number of tables being served at any given time. So I suggest having a designated sit down area for the 90% off the time there is less than 50% occupancy in the restaurant. It shows that you appreciate them. Offer some hot tea while they wait and possibly your take out tips may go up. Don’t settle for mediocre when just a little more effort can make you a superior establishment.

Love Siam Bistro! My girlfriend and I shared the chicken pad Thai and spring roll and they were really good. Will definitely be back!

Siam Bistro was great! The ambiance of the restaurant feels very upscale, especially for a restaurant in a strip mall shopping center! Most of the employees are nice, but if this place is busy, good luck having them get you a refill on your drink or getting you an extra napkin or utensil. The food is good and extremely flavorful! If you like Thai, then Siam Bistro is a great place to try out! I recommend getting the Pad Kra Pow with Beef and the Fried Bananas if you do come here! (Just My Opinion!)

I have yet to be disappointed by a Thai restaurant. This one did not break that streak. I got green curry with tofu. I wish I could write something about my visit, but I cannot think of anything. Food was good. Eat there and be content.

Found it on Unilocal.Because of its good review I decided to drive here and try their food. It is not a disappointment!!! Good food! I wish they are closer where I live so I can try everything on the menu. Papaya salad, Tom Kha soup, Basil eggplant, and sticky rice mango… excellent! Ordered Pad Thai to go.

What happened to my beloved Siam Bistro? I used to work around the corner and had lunch here weekly. The food was so flavorful, and meat was always cooked to perfection. I no longer live in the area so it has been a few years, but I recently ordered carry out — and my food was so bland. I was absolutely disappointed. The Panang was so watery, and the chicken was in bits, and so dry. The Pad See Ew was ewww, the old flavors are present but def not as pronounced. Not sure if it’s a different owner or what the case is, but it is def not the same as I remembered and that makes me oh so sad.

The drunken noodles were great and I had a soup noodle combination«salad» with lime juice and nuts. The menu didn’t state there were nuts but I tried it based on my waiters recommendation and it wasn’t as good as their amazing beef salad. The drunken noodles were amazing and worth returning but unfortunately that night I could barely sleep because I was sick to my stomach. Could have been the soup/salad thing that I ordered and didn’t like but unfortunately can’t bring myself to go back to this place even though the beef salad and drunken noodles have never disappointed.

By far my on of my favorite restaurants in the Woodbridge area. Clean, good food, good service, well priced and kinda small and dainty. I love their green curry and you can’t go wrong with their pad cee ew. It’s too bad they’re not located in a better area where people can see it, but I would definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch and were very pleased with the food’s flavors and generous portion size. Thai tea was very sweet and creamy. Delicious, however it’s not the best I’ve ever had. I just wouldn’t feel right without ordering one in a thai restaurant! Thai Iced Coffee: was very sweet and creamy as well. This was my first time trying one and it is not at all like American iced coffee. It almost tasted like a liqueur. Still yummy, but I will stick with the tea next time. The Tom Kha soup was creamy, yet very light and pleasantly sweet with a hint of spice. I am a freak for anything coconut and I will be back for this stuff. Our entrees were huge! With the Drunken Noodles I whimped out and got medium, but I should’ve got it extra spicy. No kick, but it was still yummy. I could only plow halfway through the dish with the help of my boyfriend. Probably because I already shoveled in so much of his crab fried rice. CRABINEVERYBITE. Not too salty or greasy. Perfect. All in all, we were pleased with the tasty food and plenty of leftovers. The place is clean and our waitress was very smiley. I definitely plan to come here again.

We got 2 orders of Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Green Curry, and Sticky Rice with Mango. Of the dishes, the only«winner» was the pad thai… PADTHAI: 3 stars It didn’t have any bean sprouts and both of the orders came out as a gloppy mess… but the food itself tasted decent. DRUNKENNOODLES: 2 stars This dish looked nicer but there was absolutely NO kick whatsoever to this dish. I asked for sriracha… but they don’t have the big red bottles… they gave us 3 packets of something similar. GREENCURRY: X stars It was our first time trying this. Everyone made it sound GOOD so we ordered it. It turns out, we’re not fans of coconut milk. So this dish really wasn’t for us. But, we ate it all… we weren’t willing to just throw away $ 10. STICKYRICEWITHMANGOS: X stars This too was not for us. After trying the green curry, I knew we wouldn’t like the sticky rice with mangos but I ordered everything in the beginning so we were stuck with it. The kids tried a little bit of the rice but it just wasn’t our type of dessert. Again, the coconut milk came out strong and we couldn’t convince them to keep eating it so my husband and I ate the rice… the kids were happy eating just the sliced mangos. Would I go back? Well, like everyone else said, the owners were nice, the service was good, and the place was clean… but the food itself wasn’t as good as everyone said so this won’t be my go-to place for thai food.

One of three worst Thai food places ever. Never again wasted 39 $! First the pad Thai was extremely dry and had no flavor, the chicken tasted like it was boiled, my husband drenched it in soy sauce and still couldn’t get himself to eat it. The pad kee mau beef also was flavorless and extremely greasy. Tom yum extremely salty. The only thing that was ok was the larb and there was nothing special about it. The sticky rice was hard. What in the world! If there was a way for me to give this place no stars… So disappointed.

Decent Thai food for the local Woodbridge area. I recommend coming here for their lunch specials: choice of egg roll or soup, entrée for a good price. It seems like many middle aged housewives come here to chat away during the lunch hours. As for Dinner, the restaurant can become quite full at times. Delivery is another option. Staff is very friendly. Food: the only complaint I have with the food is that sometimes the taste is inconsistent. I come here quite often(about once a week) and would notice that the Pad See Eew would be more flavorful on some days, and quite bland on others. Besides this inconsistency, on good days, the food here is decent. The Pad Kee Mao/Drunken Noodles is a flat noodle dish, with a bit of a spicy kick! If you’re looking for something with a bit more umph rather than ordering Pad See Eew, I’d recommend the Drunken Noodles. The Seafood Green Curry is good for someone who is looking for a curry dish. They give a good amount of seafood: shrimp, scallops, etc. Overall, decent place. I’ll keep on coming here because it’s closer than driving all the way to Thai Square(amazing!) in Arlington.

*WARNING* Do not go here. Something is really off with the food here. We can’t seem to figure it out. Perhaps the wok wasn’t hot enough? Perhaps no seasoning was added? Perhaps some key Thai ingredients were left out? I’m just not sure. I checked their website to see if there was anything special about this place. No MSG. That could be it, but it needs some kind of flavor. I’ve been to Thai restaurants all over The Washington Metro area, and this is one of the worst. I will never return. The pad see eww was missing a lot of ingredients and had no flavor. The chicken in the fried rice had no charred marks on it. Everything was just really plain and blah. I love good Thai food. Now I am sad. In addition, there was no utensils nor napkins included with our $ 30 take out order, and they don’t take Amex when their website says they do. Not good, Siam.

I almost want to give 2 stars for skimpy portions, but some dishes were very good so I bumped up to 3. The good: –fried chive cakes. I guess they were a special since they weren’t on the menu, but the people I was with recommended it. It was delicious! –drunken noodles good, chewy texture, with a hint of char that I love, and very spicy –pad thai — sweet, tangy –thai fried rice — savory –curry — good, typical coconut milk curry The bad: — Our seafood dish had a couple pieces of shrimp, a couple slices of squid, maybe 2 small scallops, mussels, and veggies. Way overpriced for what you get. They served it in a large dish, which made it seem even smaller since it was maybe halfway filled. — pad see ew not very flavorful Overall a bit overpriced for the value, but I still ate to my heart’s desire and my stomach left satisfied.

Went here for take out. Spent $ 30.00 for two entrees and one appetizer. Major issue: food was packed in styrofoam. Food tasted like the styrofoam. The hot food burnt the inside of the styrofoam and I refused to eat the rest of it because I’m sure I would be eating the materials of styrofoam. Will NOT be back again for dine in or take out. Food should be packaged in healthier containers. My quest for good Thai food continues…

We still can’t get enuf of the Siam Bistro! We pop in several times a month & never tire of their menu! We’re so fond of the curries… Mild to super hot! The mix of flavors from the panang to the green to the red curries are divine! We just celebrated Valentine’s Day here — spring rolls, cabbage & tofu soup, veggie panang & green curries — and, loved it! The owner surprised us with a delicious dessert«on the house» — coconut ice cream w/caramel sauce & an apple-turned rise sweet sitting by its side… Delicious! Their food artistry is amazing! Go here for a lovely private meal @ a very reasonable price!

Been back a few times now and I think their food is just ok. I ordered the tom yum soup, drunken noodles, and a thai coffee. The tom yum did not have that spicy sour kick to it, =(wish i was back in Thailand. What really disappointed me was the drunken noodles, it was so smushy and didn’t have that spicy basil taste to it. It had that sweet taste to it and it was weird. The thai coffee was fantastic, tasted just like vietnamese iced coffee. I will probably eat here again but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. And I definitely would not get the drunken noodles again. The bro had the pad see eww and that was good! Place looks clean but the utensils could use some work. Check it before you eat!
