Well… We were highly disappointed with this hotel. The halls were so cold. The heaters for the hills are in the hallway and when I turned them up, the owners/workers were literally following us turning down the heat. My kids got a rash from the water in the pool. The hair dryer was broken. It cost us $ 186 night and we ended up leaving a day early because of the how terribly run the hotel was. The owner had their dog waking in the hallway. For the price the only thing included is coffee. They even have shampoo in the vending machines so as not to give anything away. The vending machines are on sensors they aren’t always on(warm drinks). The food in the vending machines is so old I don’t think it is still manufactured. The tv had a horrible picture and it is totally out of date

I guess I feel guilty giving this place a low star rating because the staff was friendly. The owners daughter in law checked us in and was super. Very helpful. When we walked in we were talking about how clean the hotel was. The hallways, poor area and our room. Now comes the bad– Walls are thin. We heard the people next to us snoring as we were trying to fall asleep. To top that off, I woke up to them having sex so I quickly got up and turned the tv. Shortly after that, BEDBUGS. Not can kidding. I freaked out. I checked the bed when we got in– obviously not well enough. We saw two adult and two tiny little ones in the morning! We went and told the woman owner and she came up right away to inspect the mattresses. We left the big one so she could see it. Besides the bug we left, no other signs. Mattresses looked as new too. So she said it was a tick… But it wasn’t. They were bedbugs. Room 213. Since then, we emailed to have them reimburse is for the stay. We received a very professional and friendly response back with them agreeing to reimburse. I am still freaking out and paranoid I brought bugs back home, but I think I am in the clear.

We should have went back down to the desk once we saw the room. So outdated, dingy, not real clean. I knew we were in trouble when I felt a need to look for bed bugs. Thank goodnes I didn’t find any. The toilet kept running water, seat was missing a support piece, lint around baseboards, ripped blanket was poorly sewn with white thread on a green blanket, edge of blaket looked like an animal had chewed on it. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we had to check out after the first one. The mattress had no cushion layers, just springs. Pillows were very flat and hard. It was the worst nights sleep at a hotel that I have ever had. We bought a blanket and pillow case because my daughter was creeped out with laying on the bedding supplied by the hotel. The pools were ok, but the hot tub had scum bubbles all over it. Not just a little, either. They were 1.5 — 2 feet in from the edge and 8 inches thick. Yuck! We booked a 3 day vacation through Bass Pro Shops with the catch that we had to attend a timeshare meeting. We were told we would be at the resort, but were assigned to the Alakai instead. Listen. This place just isn’t that nice. The rooms are outdated. The shower is cramped. Most places nowadays have the curved hotel rods to give the shower a bigger feel. There was no floor mat towel, which is also pretty common. No breakfast and no coffee in the room. Factor breakfast into what you think you’ll save on price. When my wife asked about breakfast, the response she got was that the water park was included. Noah’s Ark included, but that’s not special here. Either you are a water park or you get people in a water park in the Dells. Asked for a late check out, because 10:30 is too early and got offered a half day rate, which is a ridiculous policy.

A great, affordable good value for families. Perfect indoor and outdoor water slides/mini-water park for young kids. Tickets to Noah’s Ark were also included in the stay. The room is very basic, but clean and well maintained. My 4 and 3 year old enjoyed the slides and the indoor pool was a great temperature. We were the only ones in the pool area for a long time they have great hours. Only negatives, kinda skimpy on towels and pillows are not comfy.

Nice, clean, & quiet hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The price was good for the weekend – the hotel is basic, but it included passes to the Chula Vista waterpark. I would definitely stay here again!

We have been here several times with our kids. Their indoor and outdoor pools are geared toward families with young children. There are no teenagers and the atmosphere is very calm. There is an indoor jacuzzi and sauna along with an indoor deep pool and a very shallow kid water play area with slides and sprayers. The outdoor pool has some slides. The couple that own and run the hotel are very nice and helpful. The rooms have refrigerators and otherwise are simple and clean. We only use the room for sleeping. There is free wi-fi. Our kids love this place.

This is a very bland hotel, with old box TV’s(no hookups for playstation, x-box, etc.). Clean room though so if your are just looking for cheap, this is it.
