Not worth the money. Poor customer service and very rude to paying customers. We had to wait 25 minutes to play only 5 minutes. For 2 people at roughly $ 43 for just the basic weapon we only played less the 5 minutes. It was an ok concept but just needed to be longer, maybe let your guests double back to make the course longer. I would NOT recommend this place. We were told to leave the building because the man was having trouble hearing other guests on the other side of the front office. How ridiculous is that?(Ego trip they all were on) On a 93 degree day and we are waiting for the other 3 people we came with but were split up because over 5 would be to many at once. No figure, the course is only good for one person if you think about it. In total i would rather have thrown out all the money down a garbage disposal then handed it to these people at zombie out break in Wisconsin dells. Do not waste your time or money. Go somewhere else and you’ll spend your money in better ways then at this place. Fail. I would rate this place .5 out of 5 stars but I can’t. We spent well over $ 160 for 7 people but like I said, it was better to have lost the money on the side streets or throw it straight into the garbage disposal verses spending it here.

Saw this passing through the Dells and had to stop. Loved the concept and execution. If it was a little bigger it would be better but everything has to start some where. Would recommend to anyone!

Great idea but poor execution. It’s basically a 10 minute haunted house hallway with guns. If the facility was bigger with more exploring it could be great. Also, the gun options are pointless. I paid extra for us to have the long range rifles and was never further than 8 feet from a zombie. Also the weapons were supposed to be very realistic with muzzle flash and they didn’t. Again, great idea but could be so much better.

this was so scary and exciting, that I had to take my inhaler in the middle of it. i enjoyed it because I used a Groupon with a friend. I think at full price, I would have felt too much pressure to enjoy. If you play FPS games at all, do yourself a favor and go.

I love this place, I went last year and thought it was cool so I came back this year and I love it more. They changed a few areas up. Kept me on my toes. The zombies are live actors running after you. Feels like call of duty. Very cool experience. This is my #1 spot up here now.

So it’s such an awesome concept, I’ll give them that. What is unique about Zombie Outbreak is that have state of the art equipment and great zombie actors. BUT that is about it. The whole experience was great, while it lasted, which gets to my next point. The whole thing lasted about 5 minutes and we weren’t even running through it. I think if they had a larger facility they would be getting 5 star reviews instead of 3 star reviews. It’s also pretty lame how they count«bites» against you when actors are hiding behind stuff and pop out at you(there is something like a 3 foot perimeter around you that the zombie must infiltrate to «bite» you.) It was also pretty lame that the zombies you killed would regenerate within a couple seconds, thus they attack you from behind after you progress. We had $ 2 off coupons so our total for 2 people was $ 38 something with tax. My BF and I love zombies and loved to somewhat experience real life THEWALKINGDEAD, which is the only reason why we went through with it. As far as value, not worth it and I feel bad for the people who’ve been conned into buying the more expensive packages, you seriously don’t need all the extra stuff. If you like lazer tag and haunted houses, this is for you. If you truly dig zombies or THEWALKINGDEAD, this is for you. Whatever you do, don’t blow $ 40/person for the upgraded packages… you really, truly, honestly DONOT need it!!!

Awesome idea. The game was exciting and scary. It was challenging too. But the whole process took about 10 minutes at the most. We were mislead into buyingthe larger ammo package thinking that once your ammo runs out then you are done. We bought the ranger package for 30 bucks which came with a rifle and pistol. We didn’t use the pistol at all because we finished the course in about 5 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and excited to help. Don’t get conned into buying the large package because you will only use about half of the ammo of the rifle because you can’t go back. Basically zombie Lazer tag with some stationary targets and a few actors.
