Such a great place to get an awesome happy hour drink! Our bartender, Summer was so amazing, my husband is really critical of all bartenders and waiters/waitresses and he had nothing bad to say about Summer. We ordered beers, Old Fashioned’s, and house margaritas, all were AMAZING! The food was also great! We ordered the queso fries and they were also delicious. Even though we were just visiting the area we really felt at home here! Definitely recommend!

We had a large party and the servers didn’t seem very experienced in handling all of us. I could see the frustration and stress in their faces from the beginning to the service to the end. A friend asked for a side of fries with her order and the server she asked replied, «Okay ma’am, but we’re busy so I’ll do what I can» in a somewhat rude and exasperated fashion. The pot roast sliders were good. 4⁄5. My girlfriend’s Cajun bloody Mary had great presentation and taste. 5⁄5 Service was very sub-par and they messed up my order, the entrée was meh. 1.5÷5 A lack of professionalism was very apparent. I’d also like to add that I have worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years, so my eyes are very sharp and critical though I understand where servers, managers, and kitchen staff are coming from as I have worked every position and I do my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Grilled cheese with pot roast is a gut bomb. If you need the sleep it’s the meal to order. I think the prices are high for what you get but it is a resort place so you know. The nice fellow even made sweet tea for my southern kids. But you must order bbq potato skins. And y’all drink some sweet tea.

Went here for lunch. Service was great. My wife and I both had the pot roast grilled cheese and thought it was absolutely delicious. It was a triple decker sandwhich and we probably could have split one sandwhich between us. My daughter had the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese. She loved it. Sure the food was slightly on the expensive side, but what do you expect, it is at a ski resort. I give the place two thumbs up.

Friendly wait stafe, decent beer selection. Pot Roast sliders were good. Pickles looked and tasted fresh made(not from a jar). All in all a great spot to finish a day on the slopes.

Disgusting. I had the tomato soup and mini grilled cheese. Soup was oatmeal like and way too salty. Grilled cheese was two cheese-like slices that weren’t even melted. Kids meals at 10 dollars each were just as bad. Mac and cheese and fries for $ 10. Luckily my kids like boxed Mac cheese. Beer choice was Mary Jane and it was the only saving grace. Slow. Expensive. Horrible.

Rating this place because I believe that they need it(only 33 reviews) and it was hard for me to judge this place through Unilocal but I thought my lunch was pretty good. The«Grilled cheese pot roast» and«House chilli» was pretty good and definitely worth an illustration.

Terrible food, over priced. I had tomato soup and grilled cheese. It was tomato purée, not the consistency of soup at all. The sandwich was all bread. My friend had cheeses fries, not cooked all the way. But, the chili was good.

This could be, and should be, so much better than it is. Sure, it’s right at the bottom of the mountain and has a nice selection of beers, but the food is absolutely abysmal and the prices are ridiculously high for the quality and service you get. We spent $ 200 for a party of four for dinner on a Tuesday night. There was one waitress working the entire room. The chips and cheese sauce appetizer was lifeless and tasted like it was made from a flour-based mix. The entrees arrived before the salads. Food wasn’t as described, and while there was a lot of it, it was just blah and unsatisfying. We love staying at Winter Park’s base village in the comfortable, well-equipped condos, but the food options in the village, and on the mountain lunch spots for that matter, are just subpar, especially for a world-class ski resort. You’d think the parent company would overhaul the food and drink options to keep people from venturing downtown… which is where we’re going for dinner from now on.

After getter no the worst service ever at the Derailer… Came to Docs. Overpriced like all the places at the bottom of the hill but the brisket grilled cheese was awesome. Dustin our waiter was cool too and actually waited on us. A+ for Docs

The food is pretty crappy here. The deviled Agfa with bacon are tasteless. The fries are mushy and tasteless. The pot roast grilled cheese was ok but given all of the other choices close by… Skip this place unless you like cafeteria style food.

Friendly staff but the food was absolutely terrible. I understand the high prices but was expecting decent food to go accordingly. The food appeared to be made without any effort and was tasteless. The kids in our party had frozen microwaveable chicken tenders and the fruit cup could have at least been poured in a bowl. Instead, it was a fruit cup in a plastic container purchased from a grocery store. McDonald’s could’ve made a better burger than their $ 17 burger selections.

Good place after a long day of skiing to have Mary Jane brew and some potato skins! The fried ravioli is good too! I would not done there unless you are looking for some pub food.

Good little place for drinks and appetizers. They have a great tap selection(Odell 90 Shilling on tap!) and the queso fries are excellent. Typical mountain prices(over $ 10 for apps and $ 15 for drinks). Good for families. If you’re just going for drinks and appetizers it’s definitely a 4-star place.

DONOT, I repeat, DONOT eat here if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. 1. Not much of a food selection on the menu. 2. Overly priced even for a popular tourist destination.(I’m a CA resident) 3. Kids meal starting at $ 10 which consists of 3 chicken strips and prepackaged fruit cup from Thailand. I rarely blast a restaurant, but the GM should place more focus on patron satisfaction and less on profit.

Doc’s Roadhouse has always been my go to place after a long day of snowboarding at Winter Park resort. The food is great, the bartenders are awesome and they always know what drink to make me when I had to the bar. The bartender Brad always remembers me, even though I only show up there a handful of times per season. Good times, good food, great people.

4 stars for their«Cajun» Bloody Mary alone. As is the case with most places inside the Winter Park area, the service isn’t outstanding and usually better at the bar. However, they are still more courteous than most and they serve an outstanding bloody! The pot roast sliders are enough for one person and delicious. We’ve tried most things on the menu and still come back for this every lunch. We sometimes get a side of fries which are good, but the sliders still the show. They also have tots sometimes and those come out crispy and salty. It can get busy, but on a sunny day you can utilize the patio outside(both up and downstairs). The patios have a great view of the slopes. I’ve only been for lunch, but they are open for dinner too They often have someone playing music or beer sponsors doing give aways — so ask if anything is going on while you are in town.
