Love Park Ave outside dining and 310 is no exception. They have a pretty awesome Happy Hour on weekends and nice tables to sit outside with your dog which is exactly what we did when we ran into other Unilocalers at the dog art festival up the street: D Drinks were great and I had gin and tonics with an extra lime(props to the waitress for remembering that for my second one) — hubby had 5 $ sangria and loved it as well. I had already eaten so hubby got their burger which was not memorable, but not bad by any means. This is a solid choice for patio days and they have a dog water bowl for the pups so we will definitely be back!

I saw this restaurant during my first visit to Winter Park but had to pass for there was no bar seating available. I stumbled on it on a recent visit and was able to snag a seat. The bartender, Katie was really polite and punctual. I had a Mediterranean salad, chicken penne pasta, and a cucumber tea cocktail. The Mediterranean salad was DELICIOUS, I cannot say the same for the other two. The chicken in my penne pasta was SUPER dry, they probably forgot about my order and accidentally overcooked it(no wonder it took a while to come out). The cucumber tea cocktail tasted like straight up cough syrup. I would just go back for their salads.

Highlights: Water with a slice of cucumber and people watching. However, the chicken in the chicken penne was very bland. Also the waiter was really good but he had way too many tables and so the service was bad as a result.

A solid Park Avenue eating option. After stopping at the Doggie Art Festival on Sunday in Central Park, our group decided to find a place on Park Ave to grab some drinks. After walking for a couple blocks through restaurants that were too packed or not dog friendly, we finally came across a table at 310 Park South. While I believe you are supposed to talk to the hostess before grabbing a table outside, the waiter told us to have a seat and brought us menus. Since 310 Park was offering happy hour deals from 12 – 4, my wife(Heather P.) and another fellow Unilocaler(Heather L.) decided to order some well drinks. My friend Joe and I decided to order some sangria. Since they offered two flavors of sangria, I ordered the red sangria and he ordered the blueberry sangria. We both very much enjoyed our sangrias. Our wives both decided to order a second well drink, so I imagine those were good as well. Despite being relatively busy, our drinks came out rather promptly. It wouldn’t have mattered though because 310’s beautiful location, dog friendly patio, and high traffic gives you plenty to do and talk about while sitting outside to enjoy a lovely weekend afternoon. After the hostess brought us our drinks, my wife and I put in an order for calamari while Joe and Heather put in an order for a burger. Maybe it was the drinks and the good times distracting us, but the food came out in no time! Our calamari was a mixture of the squid-looking pieces and the basic circular pieces. Both my wife and I liked the squid-looking pieces more than the circular pieces, and we also enjoyed both sauces that accompanied the calamari. The burger was proclaimed to be very good, so we were all relatively happy with our food. While the prices for happy hour were a still a little high, it was overall a very fun experience. Overall, 310 Park South is a good place to stop with your friends and pups for food and drinks on a weekend afternoon if you are on Park Ave. We look forward to trying other food and drink items on our next trip here.

I’ve gotta give my favorite place on Park Ave 5⁄5 stars! When I was younger, I used to have dinner with my parents here all the time! I originally remembered 310 as being the place where I tried gator tail for the first time. Anyways now coming in as an adult, I can really appreciate the food, drinks, and atmosphere of 310 on Park. I have tried multiple dishes on the menu and continue to be impressed each time I visit. Some suggestions are the gator tail appetizer(of course) and duck entrée. Both very unique dishes which are absolutely amazing. Another great thing about 310 is the drinks. I come here often with friends and it is really a great environment to either sit at a table or at the bar and just kick back with friends and some quality cocktails. You have a lovely view of Park Ave from any point in the restaurant! Always love going back. I would highly recommend 310 to anyone looking for a fantastic all around experience with high quality dishes, drinks, and company!

Ok, so this I was originally not my first choice when deciding on a place to eat the night myself and some friends went down to Park Ave, mainly because I I tend to gravitate towards ethnic food as opposed to typical American fare. But alas, we were in the company of one or two picky eaters(although one worse than the other) so we settled on this place where it was likely he could find something to eat. The prices were definitely typical of the Park Ave setting, meaning be prepared to spend about $ 30 per person for a meal. That being said, the food was actually well seasoned and flavorful, which was definitely appreciated by me. And the picky eaters enjoyed their meal as well, so I think that speaks even more highly of the place than my opinion! I wasn’t too thrilled with the server we had, but we also did go a little late and I can only imagine that he was tired. I had the crab cakes and calamari for an appetizer. The calamari was pretty good, it wasn’t covered in batter and you could still taste the squid, which is my preference. The crab cake wasn’t the best I ever had, but it was decent. I ended up ordering the carbonara pasta with shrimp, and it was pretty good. The slices of bacon in there were solid and the pieces of shrimp were huge! We were too full for dessert, but what the server brought out looked pretty good. It was a good experience here overall, but honestly I would probably choose other restaurants in the area to return to first, purely because of my food preferences.

For some reason, I never wanted to like this place. I think, in my mind, it blended in with the multitude of faceless, over-priced Park Ave restaurants. But… I keep coming back. Practical reasons to visit: the outdoor seating is some of the greatest on Park Avenue, as they boast a large indoor/outdoor patio that provides more protection from random Florida rain showers, and more space from passerbys. Also, the inside of the restaurant is huge and often relatively empty, leaving space for… strollers! Which, leads me to… a great kids’ menu! :) Now, the important stuff– the food! I have tried many things here and everything is solid. The main entrees can be expensive, although they are good. Personally, I prefer the sandwiches(reasonably priced $ 10-$ 15) — two of my favorites are the salmon burger and the steak sandwich. I may never rave about this place, but the truth is, if you are looking for a Park Ave option that isn’t too crowded, won’t totally break the bank, and will provide consistent food and service, this may be your joint.

Enjoyed the Blackened Salmon Bites, also the Salmon Bisque. The vegetable salad was decent. Service was good. Seating right out on Park Ave is pleasant.

Great place for lunch on Park Av! I have been here a few times and every time I come I always get the same thing. I know, I know, I should try something new, but their salmon burger is just sooooooooooooo good! I highly recommend getting this when you come here. The salmon burger itself is extremely tasty, with great flavor topped with arugula and crispy bacon that tie in so well with the taste of the salmon burger. It is super affordable for lunch as well, costs $ 12 for the salmon burger and you can choose a side of either fries, salad or soup. They have ample space indoors, and can accommodate huge groups of about 20 or more if you reserve in advance. They also have nice outdoor seating with about 3 – 4 tables right on Park Ave. The staff is always extremely delightful and very atttentive. I just love this place!

I got my graduate degree at Rollins College &310 quickly became one of the places my cohort & I would go after class. Why is that? Not only is it centrally located on Park Ave but both the food & drinks are good & affordable. Depending on the day the food can take a little bit to come out so take note. But if you come after 9pm food & service is usually pretty quick. There is always plenty of seating inside & outside, I’ve never had to wait when I’ve been to 310. The staff is friendly, quick to take care of you which I appreciate. They have a good wine selection & the food is pretty good too. My favorite is the Portabella Sandwich: Fried Portabello cap served with delicious toppings… a very big, satisfying vegetarian option! If people watching is your thing make sure to sit outside, the view of Park Ave is great & there’s plenty of pedestrian traffic. Enjoy!

My most recent trip here was my first and I can say I wasn’t disappointed. I came with a large party for a birthday, while we waited to be seated the bar served up delicious drinks and fast. I ordered the brie appetizer, all to myself– don’t judge, and really enjoyed it. For my meal I chose a chicken/pasta/goat cheese dish and was quite pleased. Our server was friendly and on top of our table, which is hard to find at times. I love the outside dining area, great patio to soak in and eat.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday since our first 3 choices on Park had a wait — definitely our fault for not making a reservation. We love this part of Winter Park and were so suprised to have such a negative experience. First thing we noticed was that the atmosphere around us was so loud. Between the sheer volume of screaming children and close proximity to other tables, it made it so that we had to yell across the to talk to each other. This wasn’t unbearable, we just decided to sit next to each other instead, which was nice(: We waited 10 minutes to be greeted — this wasn’t too bad as we’re patient people and had good company. Our waiter rolled around looking totally disgruntled and sweaty. By then we had time to look at the menu and we we’re totally ready to give our full order. He asked us for drink orders and then practically ran away before I finished my sentence. 10 minutes later he returns with our drinks and takes our order — all is well but as soon as he leaves I took a sip of my beer and realized it was the wrong one! No big deal, I figured, «I’ll just tell him when he comes back.» 20 minutes go by and he hasn’t returned, so I asked the busboy that had(thankfully) noticed our waters had been empty if he could get our waiter. Our waiter returns looking angry and even more sweaty than before, poor guy. He apologizes profusely and explains that his table just walked out on him. That sucks and I said, «it’s ok» — I just wanted my beer. Ten minutes later he returns with the food and beer. Finally! We were so hungry! At that point we were nearing on an hour of being there amidst the sea of screaming and crying children. I had ordered the chicken Asiago and my girlfriend ordered the Mediterranean salad with blackened chicken. The chicken was the worst we had at a restaurant. It reminded me of the frozen chicken I used to buy at a discount in college, except even more tough and chewy. Despite all these things that happened, I’m giving 3 stars because I feel like perhaps the waiter was just having a rough night and my girlfriend enjoyed her sangria. It was also only one experience and our waiter tried to redeem the obviously crappy experience by sincerely apologizing — poor guy. That being said, this inspired my first Unilocal review after using the app for years. I would advise exploring other options first if you’re looking for a nice dinner in this beautiful area.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. The trail of events that occurred this past Saturday has left me annoyed/disgusted/babbled. Restaurants are in the service industry and the key to their success is great customer service. Going out to eat is not just about the food but the experience. 12:05pm — Arrived at restaurant 12:10pm — We informed the server that we were in a rush, we weren’t given an impression that this would be difficult 12:20 pm — We were starting to get concerned when our waitress did not return and asked a passing busboy if he could get someone else to take our order instead since we were in a rush. We had to head back to our class at 1pm. 12:23 pm — The busboy must have forgotten about it because he was going about his business. Only after I made eye contact did he return to our table, only to tell us that a specific waitress is assigned to our section and we’ll just have to wait. This is a ridiculous reason and poor customer service. 12:25 pm — We hailed down another waitress to ask again and she went to inform the waitress who by now had headed in our direction and we over heard her say she’s going as fast as she can. We were not trying to insinuate that she wasn’t working fast enough but clearly there is a bottleneck. Did she have too many tables than the other waitresses? Was the hostess not knowledgeable in knowing how to equally distribute customers amongst the different section? Close to 12:50pm we finally get our food, only after we asked about it… I didn’t have time to finish so I asked the waitress to wrap it up. She takes it into the kitchen and comes back with plates of food for another table and then I see her take an order at another table… at this point I am livid, I paid $ 18 for a salad I didn’t even get to finish or take home. Another waitress came by and I informed her I can’t wait, she said«ok». I’ve worked in the restaurant industry so I know it can get rough but never have I treated a table with such disregard as this waitress did, I regret having left a tip. I’ve been a regular customer at 310 park south and blu on the avenue so I know this isn’t the norm but I don’t think I can go back after this experience.

Stuffed. Burger. Order it, and regret nothing. It’s seriously my favorite meal to order here, and the pricing is good for the meal and locale. Despite the outside, there is ample seating inside and we haven’t had to wait for a seat, unless we request specifically to sit outside or in the covered patio area. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The wait staff is always quick to come over. Food can take a bit of time, but everything is made to order, so I don’t mind the wait. If the weather is nice and you can get a seat, sit on the sidewalk and enjoy the view of Park Ave and people watching. Overall: A Get the stuffed burger. Sit outside. Enjoy!

I’m a regular here, but that’s not why it gets 5-Stars. Owner Joanne McMahon and her staff have earned every one of them. The menu is not overly trendy, just fresh and good. I’m usually on the late-night menu, but the dinner menu, and even the lunch menu, all have interesting and varied choices from a baked brie to fresh fruit to smoked salmon to grilled white fish to a nice beef burger. It’s hard to go wrong, honestly, as the food matches up against some of the best places in town. Frankly, I prefer this place(and its sister 310 restaurants over places like the Rav Pig. I get a wider menu choice here and equally good execution. Those who read my ratings know I’m not a fan of chef creativity overkill — there is really no cause to mix free-range-grapefruit and pine nuts into one’s Wagyu-tuna-duckegg-tartare. And that kind of Food Channel nonsense doesn’t happen here. The accents are present, but properly chosen for flavors. Yes, you will find the little bits of grapefruit, but nicely in a salad to add tartness. Atmosphere here is Park Avenue in Winter Park, and while you need to squint to see the park, it’s still a nice view outside.(I’m a nutzo for outside dining, known to wait for tables and have even lied to people to get them out of «my table» and go elsewhere for dessert. I think I paid somebody to leave once.) But I digress. The view here is of the Park Plaza Gardens restaurant and the lovely Colony Theatre, now depressingly a Pottery Barn, but at least they preserved the historic building and lovely blue neon sign so it’s a great view. The passers-by are mostly upscale with the Prada-bearing(both male and female) students from nearby Rollins college, adorned in amazing cocktail dresses. The service here is really good. Joanne demands it of her staff. Every server knows everything on the menu and has tasted it. They don’t use meaningless words like«delicious» to describe, they talk about the ingredients and the preparation and how they mesh. They don’t spoil the surprise of the presentation. They are right on cue with timing of the dishes, never early or late, partly thanks to a great kitchen. They know the wine pairings. The desserts might be the highlight and I’m not going to spoil that surprise for you either, other than to say that Joanne herself bakes them fresh EVERY morning 6 days a week, and they’re still just fine on her day off. They range from cakes to pies to tortes and other things I won’t tell you. Want classics? Key Lime Pie is commonly available, and it’s marvelous. You really can’t go wrong here. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s less costly than a place like Luma or Normans or even many casual places. So for the same price as medium-to-upscale chain, you get freshness, attentive service, great views, full bar, and a nice cup of cappuccino to finish your evening. 310 Restaurants just might become your staple also. :-)

Chose to eat here for Thanksgiving menu because they offered a reasonably priced prix fix turkey dinner — $ 20 for turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries, green beans, and pumpkin pie. When I called to make the reservation, that’s the menu they gave me, which was also on the website I found that led me to this restaurant. After we were seated, it took 20 minutes and me walking up to the host stand for our server to finally acknowledge us. Before that, no «hello» or «I’ll be right with you.» Nothing. As soon as our server got to our table, she told us that if we were splitting checks we had to stay in the same seats for the whole meal, no exceptions, unless we wanted to pay for someone else’s meal«please and thank you.» That’s not how you speak to your customers. They were out of stuffing and cranberries. They tried to tell me our meal didn’t come with pie. Our server continued to give us attitude and never came to refill our drinks during the two and a half hours we were there. The manager did come over, but she immediately started making excuses for everything that had gone wrong. Never going back here. Horrible, rude service, subpar food.

I went here on a Friday and we were sat right away, which was nice. We ordered the baked Brie appetizer to start and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. The combination of the candied apple and bacon jam with the Brie was incredible. It’s like a flavor explosion. I wasn’t too impressed with my entrée. I ordered the Chicken and Back Bacon — it’s similar to a chicken cordon bleu. The chicken was kind of chewy and dry. However, the mashed potatoes that it came with were good and very flavorful. I may go again and try something else… Or I may just go again solely for that baked Brie. Mmmm! All in all, it’s not my favorite place on park avenue, but it’s worth a shot. Even if it’s just for the baked Brie :)(did I make it clear I loved that appetizer? Yea? Okay good.)

This was literally the worst dining experience I have ever had. After seeing Beauty & the Beast at the Dr. Phillips Center and realizing we weren’t going to make it in time to have dinner at Hillstone, we decided to eat at 310 on Park Ave because it wasn’t too far of a drive and also was open late. Our friends said they had eaten there recently and it was okay, but the only experience I have had there was negative(my ravioli was cold in some spots as if it had been microwaved and my friend’s steak was undercooked). But, with limited options on a Sunday night, we gave it a chance. As soon as we walked in, it took five minutes to be greeted by the hostess and we felt awkward standing at the host stand waiting for a little bit of attention(two servers passed us without so much of a glance or a hello). The place was empty aside from a large party of about 8, some bar guests, and two outside tables so we were confused by the hold up on seating us. We were eventually seated but she only brought us two menus when we were a party of four. We sat for about 15 minutes and were given water and five minutes later someone approaches our table and tells us our server will be with us shortly but that he can take our order. Uhm, okay… Was he a manager? A bartender? Another server just helping out, we’ll never know. But, he took our order so that was a step in the right direction. We all ordered off the limited late night menu, we ordered two flatbreads for our group: the Zucchini Flatbread and the Beef Tenderloin Flatbread. For our entrees, I ordered a Portobello Sandwich with no tomato, my partner ordered a Turkey Club and our friends ordered a whole salad to share and a sandwich(not sure which) with no cheese. Our flatbreads arrive and we eat them. Nothing special, but they were alright. Mine had a few pieces of tenderloin that had a freezer burnt taste, so I’m assuming these are just flatbreads they freeze and cook. Not impressed by that at all and for thirteen bucks I expect fresh food. Ten minutes later, our server introduces himself… Awkward. We’d literally been there for forty five minutes. We had already ordered our food, so he let us know it would be out shortly and he took his time bringing me the wine list I’d requested(and had been wanting since the hostess shorted us dinner menus, asked if we wanted a drink menu and then went M.I.A). Our entrees arrived and were even worse than the flatbreads. My friend’s sandwich had cheese on it, my partner’s sandwich looked as if the kitchen had no idea how to make a simple Club Sandwich because she removed the bread and it looked like someone had crumpled the ingredients inside their fist. My sandwich was okay, but the sauce was overpowering and I could only eat half. It did have no tomato, so that was a plus. They gave my friend a half salad instead of a whole. I would not return to this place and would not recommend it. Our server avoided us because he knew we were unhappy and didn’t even ask us how our food was when all of us had full plates of food, just brought us the check. Bad service, bad food, and a terrible experience that cost us nearly 60 bucks. They even discounted our check seven dollars because they knew we were not satisfied, but yet no one said ANYTHING to us or asked us how our experience was. Don’t know how this place can make it with such great restaurants on Park Ave, but I’m sure there days are numbered if they continue mistreating patrons like they did us last night.

In college, I remember 310 being a special occasion kind of place. On my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised at the price of my meal– $ 20 for an entrée and drink. I ordered the Blackened Fish Sandwich. They used Basa and its tender and buttery. The seasoning was on point with a little kick and smoke to it. Service was unusually slow, even for the dinner rush. We were on the porch so perhaps we were easy to forget.

One of the places I have to visit whenever I am in Orlando is Park Avenue, and one of my favorite restaurants there is 310. They have great brunch, great lunch, and great dinner. This is one of those places you walk by after work or during the weekends, and there are always a bunch of people crowded around the bar having drinks, enjoying live music, and watching tv. It’s just a really fun spot to hang out. I have eaten here a lot, and some of my favorite things on their menu are the loaded burger, the club sandwich, their salads are great, pastas are good, and their bar is awesome. The loaded burger is always juicy, and filled with so much flavor. I’ve had a lot of burgers in my day, but this is one of my favorite burgers. The club sandwich is also piled high with fresh meats, cheese, and crispy bacon. It’s a pretty sandwich, and yummy. Oh! And one of my favorite desserts is the dolce. Picture a really creamy gelato, but better. It’s so creamy, fresh, filled with actual pistachios and topped with fresh berries. They also have a yummy chocolate mouse that I also really like, but the dolce is my fave dessert. One of the things I like most about this place is that it can be casual, it can be more formal. They also have a great outdoor area to sit in. It’s great for people watching, and for hanging out with your dog. The owner, Joanne, loves dogs, and she will greet your pup with a pat when she walks by. 310 is a staple of downtown Winter Park. If you’re familiar with the area, you know that lots of restaurants have come and gone, but 310 has always stayed. I will always love coming here :)
