10 of us visited Carrabba’s on 3.6.2016 for a birthday celebration. I know it is a chain restaurant, but I think you get great Italian American dishes here. Is it the best. no, but it is very good. Waitress was a little off her game… unable to keep drinks refilled, delivered bread a little slow. The quality of the food made the difference. I really enjoy the wood grilled meats that accompany the dishes. It is a different take on Italian food that I really enjoy. The smokiness adds another layer of flavor. We dined on pollo rosa maria, chicken parm., pizza, cavatappi franco, spaghetti & lasagna. All carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. If not for the weakness in the service, I would give this visit 4 stars.

Hmmm, it’s hard to give an excellent review when my wife had the pleasure of an entire glass of sangria poured down her back. That being said, it was not entirely the waitresses fault. A kid ran by her and caused the accident. The manager offered my wife free dessert. That was fine, but I really expected more considering the circumstances. However, I wasn’t the one with a ruined shirt, so I kept out of it. The food was good and the rest of the service was excellent. We received lots of extra attention.

I feel dirty giving an Italian chain restaurant 4 stars, but their online order with curbside pick is top notch! Caesar salad is awesome, and the warm side of bread with seasoned olive oil will make your toes curl. Chicken parmesan and pizzas can’t be beat!

Very clean place and kind waitress, we took lasagne and ravioli, and them were good: right cooked, and good presentation. Wine Pinot noir was great. Tiramisu is not the exactly original version but was a good choice also large size. Cannoli were excellent. We also had good tips for the next offers of the week.

Glad to leave a wonderful review! Have been to Carraba’s many times and enjoyed! Tonight was no exception. Philip was the perfect server, attentive, knowledgeable and very, very personable. He seemed to enjoy making his guests happy with their experience. We had the Wednesday Pizza and Wine special… Great pizza, cooked perfectly and always good wine. Also had the Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloins… absolutely cooked perfect with wine fig sauce and garlic mashed potatoes! Good atmosphere for mid week, great service, excellent food. Look forward to going back soon! Ask for Philip… you won’t be sorry!

Went here tonight with my mom an had a amazing dinner! Was sat with a new server named Philip who was extremely helpful, nice, an knowledgeable about the menu an wine selection. He kept up with us the whole time, we never wanted or needed for anything. He really made the night an experience amazing! I ordered the create your own pizza, it was perfectly cooked, an tasted great. Never had a pizza from a place like this so it was a great change from delivery. All in all it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at this location, an made me excited for my next visit. Oh an do yourself a huge favor an ask for Philip.

As I walked up to Carrabba’s you can smell this almost heavenly smell. Meat cooked with wood! This to me is a sure way to know it should be good. We get seated right away, and as we waited for the rest of our party we ordered an appetizer, which we rarely do. My wife ordered the Italian fire wings. We looked over the menu and the rest of our party arrived. They ordered a bottle of the house Chianti. Now alarms kind of went off when the waitress repeated Chianti back almost in a form of a question. We are in an «Italian» place and they don’t know what Chianti is. She comes back and takes our order. I order the combination of Sirloin Steak & Prosciutto wrapped shrimp. I honestly was kind of sad by the menu. I was hoping for some Italian. Most of what was on the menu started sounded good and then it would have sun dried tomatoes or goat cheese. And the one dish, chicken Carrabba’s was something I had before, it was good… but not amazing. Our wings arrived, very meaty, with nice heat. It comes with a Gorgonzola dip. Honestly the dip was very creamy and thick, but might as well been blue cheese. We had two wings and BOOM salad. Why in all that is good and evil will these places come to figure out, appetizer and then salad, not here is your app and oh look I’m back and now with your salads. The waitress points out that the wine that the other part of my group hadn’t arrived, but said it would soon. I ordered the Cesar salad, I hate weeds in a salad, and as long as the Cesar dressing isn’t too fishy I prefer them. This was by far one of the better Cesar salads I’ve had. I think if the plate was colder it might been the only thing that would make it better. We are now about half way through our salads and apps and no wine. I see our waitress buzz through, and a manager as well. I stopped the manager and told them we ordered a bottle of wine and it had yet to arrive. She apologized and said she would find the problem and ensure it was resolved and offered to to take our app off the bill. The wine finally shows up as the salads are about gone. I hear our waitress asking the other waiter to please open the wine as she only knows how to pour it. Our waitress comes back and cleared the salad plates, I told her earlier I did not want water, and I asked her to please take my empty beer bottle and water away. But they and out empty app dish remained. She brought out our dinner and says«cheese?» I honestly thought she was taking a picture, and she says cheese again. I look at her and ask which plate, and she says any of them. I had a little on mine, and the others also had some as well. When she handed me my plate she was standing diagonally from me. So she had to pass it by two other people. She did the same to my wife who was beside me. My dad, who is sitting in front of me, she put his plate beside his elbow instead of in front of him, and the same for my mom. She could have taken 2 seconds walked them around the table, but instead did this reaching number. She then says, more bread, and after we said no she quickly runs off. Not, how does everything look, or do you need anything else, or hey your beer is about empty, want another? My steak was great, I honestly am a steak snub. I prefer ribeye or net York strip. This Sirloin was so tender, and the seasoning was perfect. The shrimp was light on the Prosciutto, but had a very nice flavor from the wood fire. It came with this very nice lemon butter sauce that really made it so good. Honestly I could have given it such a higher rating. The food was very good, cooked perfectly, with amazing flavors. But the service was about as poor as it comes. I know I wasn’t at a four star place, but I wasn’t at the Waffle House, and I have had better service in one of those then I did today. I don’t know if our waitress was brand new, or what, but she clearly had never experienced or been taught good service. Which is a shame as the service really ruined a very good meal.

Dinner on Tuesday so we had the wine flights. Great choice except the server had no clue which glass had which wine, so I have no idea what to go purchase or order again. My lasagna was just ok this time. Very watery and really skinny, like only 4 noodles tall. Service was the worst ever at a Carrabba’s. So disappointed! Waited 5 minutes to be greeted. Saw her once during our meal. Waited 15 minutes for our check. So ok food, horrible service but this was atypical from what we normally get here.

Ehhhh the Chicken Bryan was good but a bit too much cheese. My husband enjoyed the sirloin. The real problem was the sautéed spinach. They drown it in oil! I asked for a replacement of asparagus and it was super salty. Yuck! I don’t think the chefs appreciate veggies. However our server was very kind and gave us a free dessert for the trouble. The assistant manager delivered it personally. Nice touch!

I’ve eaten at this location so many times, over so many years; and, at one time it was THE place to go for predictable«good food,» a relaxing place for friends to meet, a place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. I looked forward to the crisp, nicely flavored salads freshly built on chilled plates… the large brine — cured olives, the sweet carrot medallions… the fresh, warm loaf of crusty bread and it’s accompanying plate of extra-virgin with the dollop of their signature freshly ground herbs and spices that would arrive like some pungent, exotic… bud, to be anointed with ceremony by a Waitperson from the table’s resident bottle. So WHATHAPPENED? We learned that Corporate decided to ditch the fresh carrot medallions, to save(time is money!) the kitchen slicing them for your expected fresh salad. Instead, one now finds bone-dry slivers of carrot, the sort you’d expect at a truck-stop. Our Party received a third of a loaf of the bread, the dipping oil already being applied to a fleck of herbal mix on one side and a pea sized piece on the other! Of course I requested more. SHOULD one run out of the smidgen of olive given for dipping, you need to wave in a sprited way(and Wait!) to obtain more! Why? Because Corporate has decided the Olive oil bottles were costing them too much! No one was using the oil to excess; Corporate just heavy-handed took them away! And request Butter? You’ll be presented with a curious glob of some viscous, oily but not even butter-flavored…stuff. Now, I’m not going to even go into details about my filet(other than it being tough and stringy, and of less quality than I serve in my own home!) Just letting you in on what’s happened to Bread and Salad should give one pause before taking a chance again, any time soon. I believe I have the option of showing the artless, wilted greens(with micro Olives!) that was presented yesterday afternoon.(Oh, the only reason the place is getting the second star? Our overworked waitress clearly tried to make the best of an unfortunate situation, and struggle to make things bearable for customers!)

My wife and I made a trip to Winston-Salem Saturday to have dinner with our son, daughter-in-law, grandson, granddaughter-in-law and our«soon to come» great grandson. Our grandson said«let’s go to Carrabba’s for dinner». Imagine our surprise when arriving and the sanitation grade was a score of 92. I have a medical condition that prevents me from taking chances on my food. I was embarrassed to inform the rest of my group, which unfortunately I would not be eating at your establishment. Thankfully, they were all understanding and we decided to dine elsewhere. After researching the infractions of your facility, there were four that concerned me greatly. They are available at:

What keeps me coming back to Carrabba’s? The food is always excellent as well as consistent and their service is always on point. I’ve had their bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin on several occasions and it’s always perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you are looking for a great, consistently cooked meal, give Carrabba’s a try.

Do you crave food that is so salty you need a gallon of water to get it down? Do you crave your«Italian» dish to be so oily that you can feel your heart slow down while eating it? Do you crave diarrheal explosions that require a seatbelt around your toilet? Look no further!!!

My family and I were visiting family and friends in the Winston-Salem area and my husband and I went out to eat at the local Carrabbas. We sat at the bar, ordered a few cocktails, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Gina took great care of us and even suggested a few *must see* spots while in NC. The manager on duty, Kirk was friendly and attentive. He made sure to check in on us and made causal conversation with us like we were regulars to his establishment. I noticed that not only did he seem to take this time with the guests, but was also aware of the kitchen and staff and how their nights were progressing. And to top it off the food was AMAZING. The Polo Rosa Maria was absolutely wonderful and my husband enjoyed the smothered filet. The next time we come back to Winston-Salem we will definitely be stopping in to this Carrabbas. Can we get one of these in Mississippi???

The service is excellent here and the food is very consistent. It’s not spectacular cuisine, it is solid comfort food. The odor however is atrocious. I don’t know what is going on but it smells like sewage when you sit at the bar. There is definitely something wrong going on here I’m just not qualified to assess the problem. I hope they fix it because it makes eating here almost impossible.

I have a confession: Exclusive of one visit, I’ve only been here when invited as a member of the Amici Club. What’s the Amici [ah-MEE-chee] Club? Amici means ‘friend’ in Italian and if you sign up via Carrabbas.Com, you are invited as a friend to Carrabba’s to sample and taste the newest menu items on a quarterly basis. Dishes are served family style, there is wine(lots of wine), bread with the delectable dipping oil with seasonings(did I mention the wine?)and no less than 5 items to try. By the end of the meal, you are full, happy and most likely have met someone new at your table(while drinking your wine). The Amici Club is free. You are being invited to Carrabba’s as their guest and they are feeding you gratis, but upwards of 20 people RSVP for these events and the servers work hard, so please don’t forget to tip. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Carrabba’s and sitting near the open kitchen. The service here is always friendly, superbly courteous. The menu has something for everyone and it really does feel like you’re visiting someone’s family restaurant. There’s a story and a reason behind every dish. They offer delicious, seasonal dishes like grilled Tuscan skewers, salmon In Cartoccio(in paper) and menu staples like the savory Chicken Bryan and the creamy Pasta Weesie. Most dishes are made from scratch and it’s just one of the better Italian chain restaurants.
