This is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. Overpowering smell of cat urine greets you the moment you walk in the office. Manager told us he was «upgrading» us to a better room. If this was better, I can’t imagine what the other room looked like. Room smelled like cat urine and the beds had some kind of poly foam blanket. Chairs were badly stained and carpet was dirty. Terrible. And I was told these rooms were recently renovated. When — 1972? Only giving this one star because there is no zero option.

I’ve stayed here twice. This motel has been completely refurbished and is the best deal in town, coming in at about ½ to 2⁄3 the price of comparable accommodations. Never crowded, even on holidays. Shopping mall and restaurants nearby, right across Hwy 61.
