It was ok me and and my friend went up there to visit her one friend. The first room we had the fridge did not work so they give us a new room

Price is good, my last stay was good too. This time though, the whole room literally smells of urine. Yes pee. Like the men’s urinal after the Super Bowl. So just don’t get room 315 if you have to stay here.

Much better then I expected for the price! Now I have stayed in some horrible hotels in my life, read my review from Memphis So I know what bad and good is, and this place is A-ok! Staff was super nice, and we got a discount for mentioning the Mid West Music Fest! The view and location was great, right on Sugar Hill Mountain over looking a lake down the way. About a Mile from down town where the music fest was rolling. Don’t stay on the third floor if you don’t like the smell of smoke. You can even smell it in the 2nd floor hallway! We of course choose a non smoking room and it was good. Not amazing but not bad either. Plenty of towels, 2 queen beds and cable tv. Living the high life with Cable tv. The beds were super comfy! I slept really well actually, maybe it was the beers at the fest? They have a full hot breakfast in the morning with fruit, and coffee in the morning. If you are looking for a decent place to stay for a great price. This is your spot!

It’s a Super 8. People in pajamas reading strip-mined waffles. GMA blaring over the TV. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are nice. It ain’t the L’Hotel Versailles, but I’d stay there again. On an expense account, I’m going across the street to the Hyatt Place.

Hotel was nice for what you pay. Flatscreen tv and wifi, clean rooms and bathrooms. Very nice and courteous desk clerk.

Let me start by saying I am a VERY frequent visitor of the Super 8(former Nichols Inn) of Winona. Located directly below Sugar Loaf. Pros: Staff is very courteous and helpful. Rooms are always clean and stocked with towels. Some rooms have new beds. Every room has their own thermostat control. If you request an odd room number it will limit the light that comes into the room from the lights in the parking lots. Free breakfast in the morning with toast, yogurt, cereal, waffles, and apple & orange juice. Cons: TV’s are old and outdated plus don’t always work. Pillows are less to be desired along with some beds. Room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in the hallway. WiFi signal isn’t the best and is sometimes sluggish. Needs new patio furniture on the deck area.
