We had lunch here the food was good service was good $ 25 each for lunch and you have to get your own water. They are a little to concerned with self seating even when not busy lighten up. Wet wipes would be nice if you didn’t have to get them yourself.

This is a totally awesome and unconventional restaurant and beer garden. The atmosphere is great! Astroturf, fire pits and heat towers, flat screen TVs, occasional live music and even comedy. The great thing is that you can bring your well behaved dog! They always bring my dog a bowl of water and a bone to chew on. They have pretty good food, and an awesome burger! This is one of the best places to go for a beer in Windsor! They have 24 beers on tap and a great selection as well. They also carry a fantastic assortment of local wines. Not the place to go for a cocktail as they don’t have a full bar. Also, while this place is fantastic during the summer, it’s not really a great place while it’s raining.

Went to Windsor location today. It’s cool that it is dog friendly and that’s why I give it 4 stars. Unfortunately what I ordered was mediocre. It actually did not seem like the linguisa I ordered came off the grill, it had grill marks, but it was lukewarm when it came to the table, the fries were great and hot. Wish they had a better cider on tap, although I’m spoiled coming from Humboldt where we have awesome breweries that make their own ciders. The server seemed like she knew what she was doing, but also it seemed like they needed one more person serving and it would have been better. She kinda seemed like she hated her job too. If I go back I would pick something else to off the menu, who knows maybe the burgers are good. I live across from the Cotati location and I will try that one out next.

Outdoor seating! Fun group of people. Definitely has the potential to be all encompassing for anyone. The benches, tables, fire table & chairs settings makes everyone feel like friends or at least open to joining conversations. Think a patio party at a friends house. Quiet enough for a couple to catch up on date night and friendly enough to come solo and not feel alone. The food AMAZING!!!

My husband and I tried the«Cotati» location out and it was awful! We decided to try out the Windsor location since its been around longer and by now, you would think they knew what they were doing! Nope! They don’t have a clue! Food again was awful, drinks were OK at best, service?! What service?! Once our server took our orders, didn’t see him again until we begged another waiter to get us some more drinks! Food was microwaved and cold! Oh and might I mention that wine is served in a mason jar!!! Please don’t waste your money or time on this less than average bar!

First of all, after reading all of the reviews, it is probably a great summer outdoor drinking spot. That said, winter is a bitch. We arrived and were directed by a sign to the back yard to be seated. It was a very cold day. We found a spot at a lame picnic table next to a propane heater… I don’t want to eat at a picnic table, hard to get into and uncomfortable. I asked if they had indoor seating and was told they did so we moved and sat in the refrigerated dining room, alone, not another soul around. It was colder than outside. it was quiet, we could hear the cook or kitchen help talk and burp. Thankfully our waitress also sang along with the radio. Food was fine. Shoes stuck to the wood floors inside… yuck. Shivering, I finished my last bite. Likely won’t be back.

There is not a lot of BBQ places around the area, but I still didn’t feel like the food was that good. For the price you got a lot of food but the quality wasn’t what I was expecting. A lot of people I know talk this place up but I feel like it’s just all talk. The service was slow, because they were busy. I don’t think I would go there again. The only cool part was the outside ambiance.

Come here for the fire pits, beers and specialty fries and you won’t be disappointed. Service is a little slow, but hey — chill out and enjoy the reggae music. Next to the fire pit. With your beer. And fries.

I won’t go back. The food was really good. Servers seem to be out of their element and transitioning from basement dwelling to the real world. They must be hired as favors to family friends. THIRTYMINUTESAFTER the server took our order, she came back to tell us they were out of the ½ chicken. Wait staff didn’t change once they rolled out of bed. Sweats and dirty t-shirts seem to be a little too casual for someone at any job. Two stars because the food was good. Two stars cuz I won’t go back. Bam.

Sat down outside at the fire pit and instantly relaxed to watch TV. Wanted a local white wheat or a fruity beer so our fun waitress told me to sample a Grapefruit Sculpin(might have been — Ballast Point) but great recommend for me. Then we asked about the artichoke hearts and the sweet pot fries. She said the Aoli was awesome and the fries were Thanksgiving dinner all rolled into one fry. Well she was right. Yum. The chokes were so good and tender plus she was dead one with the fries. It was nice to sit there an enjoy. Then we wanted BBQ so we got some three way sampler and the waitress recommended all three sauces. Once again a good recommend(and the corn bread WOW.) Got a little busy with the waitress running between Inside and the bar but I was chilly and relaxing exactly like we told her we were gonna do! I recommend thus as a nice place to chill and hang nice and laid back.

Horrible. I went here for lunch with a work buddy on 10⁄27. My chicken was very overcooked. It was so dry that I am suspicious they reheated some chicken from the previous days batch. The cornbread muffin was dry and borderline stale, and the cole slaw has bland. My buddy said the same thing about his Tri Tip that it was way too overdone. He also said that his beans were cold. I wanted to try this place and I can now scratch it off my list. Too many good places in the area to waste my time going back to the toad.

Here again just cause I love the patio, trying happy hour for the first time and well the bar tender made us cash out cause he was leaving 5 mins after we order! Food I have to say was a little better then it used to be,

The backyard atmosphere is fun and casual; its blanketed in green turf and they let dogs kick it — and the servers are friendly. They have a few of those fancy heaters that don’t emit much heat, but they do have a rack full of blankets for when the temps drop. The best part about this place is the location and the selection of beers. A+ for that! But the food at this place is pretty sub-par. We had the pulled pork nachos that came out with a teeny tiny bit of pork, almost no salsa and doused in this really weird pink juice that looked(and tasted) a lot like thousand island dressing. We also ordered the teriyaki wings which tasted soo far off the mark. I hope this place sees the value in hiring a real chef!

Went for a long hike in the Foothills and this was a perfect place to stop after. So many beer options and they even had our favorite. We had our dog with us, she was welcomed with a nice refreshing bowl of water. She also loved the burger they made her. The must try is the Big Sexy Fries. So good. The beer garden is great. Food was wonderful. This place will be a regular for us

Had the blt and the chicken sandwich the other day. Both were off the hook!!! The blt on the pretzel bun with pork belly… Best thing going. And the chicken sandwich was delicious as well. Had the 21st American IPA and that was tasty as hell. Our waitress was awesome and Carl the bartender is the man!!!

The 1st time I came here, I came with some family and I had an experience I thought was due to a few inconsiderate employees. Our waitress place our order, yet after waiting for like 15 minutes she came back and said the order didn’t go through, so we had to reorder and to compensate she gave us some bacon cheese fries, which I thought was nice of her. As we were trying to enjoy our food, one of the off duty employees turned a huge fan towards our way because it was blowing off cool air for him and his friends in the beer garden. I was thinking WTH?!? Then he started spraying the plants not realizing the over spray was getting on me. Since it was a boiling hot day and it was early evening I wasn’t in the mood to complain, but now as I’m writing this I am now thinking I should have. My 2nd experience here, I took my mother here for her birthday. They were all out of fountain drinks, so my mom ordered a mini diet-coke in a bottle(that’s all they had) which didn’t even fill up half way with the mason jar glasses & ice they provided. While waiting for our food(which was over 20 minutes) we heard the cook flirting with one of the waitresses and said, «Are you trying to shit on my balls?!» SERIOUSLY?! Now I know why are food took so long. My son had to request our check. As we were eating there were at least eight to nine flies swarming our around us. The floors are so sticky that my sandals were stuck to the floor, like the floor hasn’t been mopped in weeks. YUCK! Ribs were burnt and the fries were deeply soaked in oil. Like I said this was my 2nd time there and most definitely my last. I’m not sure why I’ve heard so many people taking about this place. PLEASENOTEIFYOUDECIDETOCOMEHERE: WHENYOUCHECKOUT, DON’T JUSTSIGNTHENOTEPADLIKETHEWAITRESSASKS. SHEAUTOMATICALLYKEYSIN A 20% TIP.(The waitress did this to my grandma on the first trip and on my 2nd trip here the waitress tried to do the same thing.)

I come mostly for the Beer Garden. The food is decent, but the major draw is the atmosphere. I love that the Town Green now has several different drinking spots with different vibes. This definitely has the most chill environment. I like bringing friends, when we’re just looking to hang out. Will definitely be going back :)

Been wondering about this place it. I would of gave it 5 stars if the employee that was watering the water fountain was a little more considerate. He got my sister wet and then he placed the big blowing fan toward the rest of our party then he tried to turn the tv that we where watching off. The waiter ordered our food then informed us it didn’t go through but she made up for it by giving up some yummy garlic bacon fries to munch on while we waited for food. The food came and we weren’t disappointed it was good. I will try it again and see if we have a better experience.

I’ve eaten here a few times and while this place is cute, I will not be going back. The beer garden is the best part about this restaurant, the food is mediocre. I’ve never had any food here that tasted good(which also means I’ve never ordered the same thing twice). I’ve tried the nachos, pulled pork sliders, grilled zucchini, grilled artichokes, fries, frog legs(when these were still on the menu) and fish & chips. None of it was good. Service can be slow. But at least they’re nice. So if you do go, go for a beer and hang out in the garden. Get food elsewhere. The beer garden is pretty awesome for hanging out. They used fake grass as the flooring, so that’s unique. Plenty of heaters and seats.

3.5 stars. When we walked in here early one Saturday morning, they weren’t open yet. But we saw the bartenders who saw our group of 6 and decided to open up just for us so they could serve us some alcohol. Not many places will do that but these guys were nice enough to see that we were from out of town and wanted to do a little pre-drinking before hitting up the wineries in the area. LIke I’ve said before, I’m not much of an alcohol drinker but since my friends are, they were quite happy. So why only the 3.5 stars? One of the employees convinced us that they had«the best» baby back ribs for dinner. All of us perked up immediately and said that we would be back for dinnertime. After a long day of wine tasting, we were seated in the patio area and had a long bench to ourselves. We were looking forward to these famous baby back ribs that they specifically told us to come back for. So before I talk about those, let’s start off with the appetizers: Sweet and Sexy Sweet Potato Fries: Topped with Bacon and drizzled with brown sugar glaze– These were just okay– nothing«sexy» about them. They were just a tad sweeter than normal sweet potato fries and the bacon made them a little better. Baked Mac and Cheese: Blend of Cheddar, Jack, Bleu and Parmesan topped with bacon, tomatoes and bread crumbs. While you can’t go wrong with Mac and Cheese, this was probably the best thing we ordered that night. It was creamy, rich and full of flavor. Baby Back Ribs(with House sauce): With all the hype, I was expecting spectacular. After passing around the plate and taking a piece, I took a bite and my first thought was«This is it? I’ve tasted much better elsewhere.»(Hello Texas Roadhouse!!) Sure, it was tender but the sauce tasted like any other barbecue sauce that was slightly sweet. Nothing special about it.
