Server was friendly enough however, upon realizing she added a scoop of cookie dough on top of my chocolate incorrectly, put the extra scoop back in the original tub — even though it had already been taken out and placed on top of my chocolate ice cream. Not terribly gross for me, but seems kind of odd and makes me question what other things might be «ok» to do. She also didn’t seem entirely sure if the ice cream scoop she was using was clean, but proceeded to use it anyway. I think I will try a different location in the future.

Friendly service when the high school kids work. Great ice cream, good portion size. Sadly, won’t honor free birthday scoop coupons… not sure why?! So I don’t usually go to this BR, I go to Lake Oswego and get cones and cakes there!

Great ice cream and friendly service from local high school kids. The Halloween«Trick Oreo Treat» flavor is amazing.

Not to be outdone by Moonstruck, Baskin-Robbins also has specialty flavors for the election season. For McCain-a-maniacs out there, you can choose the Straight Talk Crunch: Caramel ribbon, chocolate pieces, candy red states and crunchy mixed nuts swirled into White Chocolate ice cream. For Obama-mommas and dudes, there is the Whirl of Change: Peanut-Nougat ice cream whirled with chunks of chocolate-covered peanut brittle and a caramel ribbon. At Moonstruck, the dark chocolate elephant won my heart. At B-R, it isn’t even a close contest. If I was stranded on desert island and could only choose two foods for the rest of my life, they would probably be chocolate and peanut butter. Donkey for the win!!! They are running an ‘election’ on their web site and it is almost a dead heat. To cast your vote, go to
