Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

My kids love this place SO much!!! It’s our favorite place for a treat or reward — they especially love choosing their own toppings (even though the flavor combinations they come up with are sometimes in questionable taste). I love the healthier choices and how I can have as much or as little as I’m in the mood for. I hope they bring back the reading reward program, because this was a HUGE motivator for my oldest as he was just learning to read last summer.

I’ve been around the world as a Marine, and dealt with a lot of business owners as a police officer and this place takes the cake!
instead of an apology from ownership for the multiple rude service visits I get a harassing message accusing me of being stoned (as if that were pertinent, albeit wholly absurd). It is no wonder the staff is rude, they are a perfect reflection of the ownership, unreal!
Let me reiterate, if you want tude teenyboppers upset that you’re interrupting their Instagram time & poor selection, followed by harassment from management when you mention it go to Menchies in Sherwood… Otherwise there are normal froyo shops within 3 – 4 miles.

My sister showed me this place I feel like forever ago. Since then it has quickly become a favorite. My absolute favorite is the Dole pineapple froyo. I was completely heartbroken when they took it away, I think it was just seasonal though, so I understand.
Not too long ago I moved out of Oregon, but I’m heading back to visit soon and this place is definitely on my list of places to go. I can only hope that when I do my sweet sweet pineapple is back.

The flavor selection in this place is a constant disappointment. They usually have 2 – 3 kinds of chocolate and 2 – 3 kinds of vanilla. There is almost never a fruit flavored yogurt. If they have fruit, it’s sorbet or something odd like banana. We’ve been here multiple times since it’s right down the road and I have never seen a peach or strawberry or raspberry yogurt.

So happy to finally have this place in sherwood! Love coming down for a treat and everyone is so friendly. Great place for family and kids !

Wanted fro-​yo but didn’t want to drive to Bridgeport, so thought I’d try another shot here. Still crap experience. Screaming kids all over, 3 flavors I tried were coming out as water, valley girl workers that don’t even look old enough to be there, no fudge sauce, and 2 confused people caused everyone to bottleneck. Whoever designed the interior is an idiot. Oh well I’m supposed to be dieting anyways so won’t be going back.

I would probably give this 3.5 stars. The yogurt was good and there are a large selection of toppings, however the space inside is a little cramped and the layout is not very efficient. The place to pay is in the middle of the store and, on a Friday or Saturday night, gets extremely cramped. If they increased the size of the building a bit, or change the layout, it would be more comfortable and a little easier to navigate. We decided to sit outside, which was pleasant.

The best frozen yogurt ever !! They always have a great selection the restaurant is always clean and the service is always friendly. Also there is always 1 low carb and 1 no sugar added choice.

I love coming here simply because the have a Dole pineapple flavor that is just like Dole Whip from Disney. Whenever I want to relive some Disney memories, I come here! The yogurt quality is really good here compared to other frozen yogurt places around.

I love menchies. I also only like vanilla, so I usually go to menchies because I love there vanilla froyo. I’ve been the the other location by big als they aren’t nice, they never seem like they want to be there. The two girls working by the Walmart location greeted me. I told her that I enjoyed her happiness because the other store wasn’t so great. They say hello and goodbye, thank you for coming to every person I really appreciate this service compared to the other location.

We are admittedly FROYO snobs. I can’t stand YoCream which is the traditional yogurt base for most chain yogurt establishments. So we have been making the trek over to Peachwave in Tualatin (my favorite) anytime we NEED some do it yourself dessert.
Now that Menchie’s has opened in Sherwood we no longer have to make the long and treacherous drive over to Tualatin. (If we are already going that way, we will still make the effort to stop in, I do think their yogurt flavor edges out Menchie’s, but only slightly) but Menchie’s has won us over.
Thier toppings are FANTASTIC. I would even be so bold as to so say better (and more choices) than PW. They have about 12 flavors plus the swirl options. Menchie’s makes their own yogurt base from their own dedicated dairy farms in CA (this info is available on their web site, and yes, I am one of «those people» who wants to know where the food I am eating comes from.) There cows are not treated with growth hormones (rBST), California milk has higher protein content than Federal guidelines and Menchie’s yogurt contains live active cultures!
I suspect this place will win the hearts of Sherwood and the surrounding area FROYO fans in no time.

Finally! I’m glad to have found a good frozen yogurt place in Oregon and in my neighborhood. Since moving from Cali several months ago, my family and I have not been able to find a comparable and tasty go-​to FroYo place like we had in Cali. Menchi’s has a Yogurtland feel with an awesome selection of flavors. We have already frequented quite often… we didn’t let the cold weather interfere

Brand new store in the Walmart parking lot! Great service with their happy «Welcome to Menchie’s!» saying. The employee said it’s no extra charge for the waffle cone, which is slightly incorrect since you pay by weight, but the flavors and toppings are good. I decided to get the chocolate waffle cone, alas it would’ve been cheaper to not have this and I would be okay.
On a nice day they have outdoor seating with a water feature and a patio. It’s tucked in a corner away from the traffic so it was nice to hang outside.
