Fox and Hound Pub & Grille

I stopped here for lunch for the first time. Chaney W @ the bar was super attentive. I asked a couple questions about the wings and how I like them. She understood how I like them and they were spot on when I got them! I got them to go and seriously considered going back to give her a bigger tip for how awesome she was!

Worst steak ever plus the grilled veggies were cold. How does that happen? My food came out in less than 10 minutes and I sent it back in less time than that! Beer is great and bartenders are very sweet.
Come for beer and maybe a burger

Date night for my husband and I. Chose Fox and Hound for location to Mayfaire shopping. Meal was disappointing. My husband ordered Druken Chicken with Parmesan crusted fries. There was no evidence to indicate Parmesan anywhere on the fries. My meal was mediocre. Somewhere to watch game and eat a sandwich but not date night worthy !!

Stopped in today while traveling in the area. The staff was great and very friendly. Atmosphere is also very good. Ordered the Cuban and have to say I’ve had better. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t the best I’ve had. The pork seemed to have a lot of fat in it. The girlfriend ordered a salad. All and all we will go back that’s for sure, I just will try something different next time.

Meh. I’ve experienced better… Takes 15 minutes for a table of 4 to get drinks… 45 minutes to get food… Mixed up orders… And this has been the past 3 times. The food is ok and the alcohol selection is good but service stinks… Needs new management.

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon w a group of about 15 people. The server was ok but not very attentive, looked a little overwhelmed but we appeared to be his only table. I ordered the grilled chicken Cesar and the chicken was burnt and very dry. I seemed like an ok place for drinks but I won’t go back for food.

Amazing selection of draft and bottle beers. Great specials. Good inviting atmosphere especially for a sports bar. Attentive pros behind the bar. Most of the food I ordered exceeded my expectations but stay far away from the salsa which tasted like watery gazpacho.

Our waitress was awesome! The food was good except for the fact that it was burnt. I had a buy one entrée, get one free so I didn’t complain.

After being grossed out by an unwashed bread plate with gunk from a previous diner delivered to our table; we asked to speak with a manager. Rather than the general manager’s attention, we were only afforded the attention of the bar manager. He apologized and offered desert and a discount card for a free appetizer. The brownie desert could not even be eaten, however, due to the fact it wasn’t completely baked. Any restaurant remotely worth repeat business would have offered an adjustment to the bill, but this didn’t even seem to enter the bar manager’s mind. If this aspect of our dining experience wasn’t enough, their burgers have very little meat and far too much bread. We will certainly never dine in this establishment again.

Had the Capri panini at Morgan’s suggestion, and it’s excellent. Casual, but fun main room. Morgan was an excellent waitress, helpful, and knowledgable about the menu, etc.

Very disappointed!!! I didn’t feel the vibe, servers where cold and rude. Only one person Jesse!!!@ is great all the others; (

This was a nice visit to @The_FoxandHound after my trip to the movies. The server was trying to understand the menu, as she stated they just changed it either that day, or the day before.
The meal was good, and the server came back and checked up on us as we ate. There was not a crowd there as we came during the week.
I have been to the one in Raleigh a few times, and this was my first visit to the one in Wilmington. They are pretty much basically the same.

I’m from DC but spend a lot of time in Wilmington. It looks like Fox and Hound is a Sister company to Champps (which we have in DC). I went in with a fairly low expectation, but walked away very happy.
Great beer selection and great TV’s for watching sports. We ordered a couple apps that were really good. In general, it was a fun atmosphere and a cool place to be. I“d definitely go back.

Good alcohol deals and giveaways. They even have a rewards card and do discounts to people who work in Mayfair. I tried the street tacos. Nothing to write home about. I like islands or King Neptune’s tacos better. Salsa was good :). Pretty good service and the have a cider on Draft

Convenient/​walkable location to our hotel (Homewood Suites), but I wasn’t impressed. Small and limited menu even for a pub. Waited for 10 minutes for the waitress to greet us and ask for our drink order then another 10 to receive them. Our food was barely decent. If it weren’t for the playoff games on the TV then we surely would’ve chosen elsewhere to dine.

Great location and atmosphere. Went there a couple times and became one of my favorites.

We just came in for a drink, but the bartenders were great, really attentive and thy have a great draft beer selection, with many smaller craft breweries on tap. They also have a great liquor drink menu.

My wife and I have been going here for years and I can honestly say that Fox and Hound now is the best it has ever been. My wife always gets either the Black Forest or one of their salads and has never been disappointed. I am an admitted wing snob and usually get the hot wings with a side of the hot sauce (one of the best in town) or some fried bar food depending on how hung over I am. Wings are honestly great and we usually get them every year for the Super Bowl. Get then well done and wet.
The service is fantastic. We have a newborn and they have always been more than accommodating with seating and helping us out whether it’s giving us extra time or a cup of hot water to heat our bottles up. My company has had two Christmas parties there and all my employees have been happy with the food, drinks, pool, and service. I would highly recommend an office party at Fox and Hound.
My overall favorite thing about Fox and Hound lately has been their incredible beer selection. They have always had an above average selection but Darin the bar manager has made them one of top craft beer spots. in all of Wilmington. All of my favorite breweries are represented and the monthly rotating «tap takeover» always has an interesting and rare selection.
The combination of great bar food, an unbeatable craft beer selection, and outstanding service make Fox one of our favorite spots in a town with plenty of choices.

Great beer selections, lots of TVs to watch sporting events! Great food, yummy appetizers, the pretzel sticks are a must try!

Missy and I come here for NFL games mostly. They have had jersey giveaways during the Panthers game both times we have come here. Missy pulls for the Ravens and there is always a TV for her.
We shared (and enjoyed) the mini Bratts as an appetizer. We’ve had the onion rings and the servers/​bartenders have always been good.
Oh, and Missy’s work had their Christmas party here over by the pool tables. I don’t get the overall 3 star ratings… I like it here.
