Came in for a late lunch on a rainy afternoon. Very friendly and accommodating. When I ordered my beer waiter asked if I wanted to taste it first to make sure I liked it. Hot pretzel appetizer was delicious and the burger hit the spot. Visiting from NY, I really enjoyed my Horchata on Nitro by Cigar City!

Have been to multiple WOB locations and the villages is great! Awesome service. We went with a party of 6 and our waitress just had fun with us, choosing beers for us based off of what we previously liked, and we loved what she brought. The bacon bbq burger is to die for! Chimay burger was awesome as well. Deff our spot for a fun night out. Always have live entertainment too!

Yeah it’s fine. Beer selection huge. I had blueberry beer tonight and it was great. Most other nights I desire wine so don’t like this place.
Food is typical of the Villages — huge, fried, mediocre. I had veggie wrap and it was decent. The coleslaw was definitely tasty and different albeit with an extraordinary amount of mayonnaise but I expect this sort of this here.
Have had tater tots in the past and they are insane. Not great but insanely presented and a good food when drinking lots of beer.

I used to frequent here 1x/​wk for trivia. The food is decent, I usually get the turkey club and tots. Their beer selection is great and the staff is knowledgable and can often make good suggestions if you’re not sure which beer to get. They have trivia on Tuesday nights, which is a lot of fun. However, every time I’ve played trivia there is always one team that wins by a lot, which leads me to suspect they might be cheating with their cell phones. Kinda took the fun out of trivia for us so we don’t really go back there much. But if you’re a beer drinker, it’s a nice place to go.

After a poor start and a few visits that were not good, we decided to try it again. They have a new manager and the place ROCKS! Great service, great food (fast) and great live music. Don’t miss the Shrimp Tacos for $ 10 and the Chimay Burger! Incredible!!!

Ok so, first off the food is just ok, really pretty marginal. Beers selection was great and prices were fair. The service was absolutely the worst I have ever seen. They brought my friends meal 7 mins before the other guests. We had to ask twice for setups. Never got asked if we wanted another beer, and I had to go to the bar to ask for the check. This place will be out of biz just like the other marginal shops in the villages. If you just provide a good meal and great service you make money. What a concept.

We were greeted by friendly staff. They had an interesting menu and had a few gluten free options which I’m always happy to see. I ordered mead on draft and crab cakes. Both were delightful! My friends ordered the giant pretzel and beer. We were very pleased with everything at World of Beer!

First time here. Our bartender was Ben. He gave us exceptional service. The draft beer list is quite extensive. After telling Ben what our palettes were he was able to select the perfect beers for us. He was even able to give the full background of where they came from/​started. We are impressed with this place and will forsure be back. Thank you Ben!

I am not much of a beer drinker, but I have friends who are, and they enjoy the variety. Also, you can order flights of beer, so you can test drive a taste before ordering. I tend to order the same thing every time, because I like it that much! The fish tacos are very good and are served with fresh jalapeños! My face turns red and I sweat, but I enjoy every bite! If you like fish tacos with a bite, you must try them. They have their version of bang-​bang shirmp, which is good and has a nice kick. Three in our group had them and we all enjoyed! Our waiter was fun and made the evening even more enjoyable.

My significant other and myself frequent the WOB on a weakly basis and enjoy the atmosphere, food and services. The bartender, Ben, is very informative on products he has to offer along with the food that is served. The pickled chips, golden ale shrimp, black and blue flat bread and the huge German Pretzel, all of the above are amazing! !!! All in all … a great place to hang out and have fun!!!

Very yummy pretzel — maybe a touch too greasy but worked well with cheese dip and spicy mustard. Zoned out teenage waitstaff, but everyone was friendly enough and great outdoor seating on the square. Bartender did a great job helping us pair beers with our meal. We will be back!

World of Beers in Brownwood. First you can get great Germany beer here. For me a man who loves Germany beer that’s great. Irish dark beer and all beers. Bad part about that is the price of beers. We had 4 in our party and came to have good time and today was hot day. We laughed and drank like if it was American water down beer (coorlight)With burgers and a happy time 180 dollars tab. Wow for 4. Yes my friends you get there in a hurry. We had a great pretzel to start. They hung it on a banana stand. 4 sandwiches and beers form all over the world and bang. So I liked world of beers. But I think they charge a little to much for what you get. A great irish pup in The Villages would blow this place away. We need a real mick. To start one please. From Boston or Philadelphia or Jersey please.

The menu has changed some and they got rid of the big book of bottles with a more convenient iPad. Service is always great and it shows by the very little staff turn over. Now if we could only get them to have a $ 1.00 beer night!

What’s not to like?
They have every beer imaginable, a rotating assortment of drafts, and a staff that’s well trained, dare I say, beer sommeliers!
Sit outside if you can, you can even smoke at the bar without getting dirty looks!
Try the Bavarian Pretzel, it’s big enough to share and loads of fun. Tell them to hold the butter if you’re counting calories, but then, why are you at Beer Bar in the first place?
Their wings are spot on, and the sausage sampler is a home run!
I brought my back gammon board and they had no issues with letting us play, they even gave us a bigger table to accommodate us.

This is an alright place. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We were promptly seated and our beverage selections were taken. The service was really good. I ordered a chipotle cheese bacon burger. Wouldn’t you know it, they were out of the chipotle cheese so I settled for a bacon cheese burger. It was really big and very juicy. Really good. Wife had a grilled cheese sandwich. It was also very tasty. We would return.

Came here while visiting the parents with my husband. Talk about an impressive beer selection. And for you non-​drinkers try the root beer on tap– it will change your life!
The pretzel app with beer cheese is the perfect starter. We had four people and it was a great size.
The grilled cheese is a great comfort food with a gourmet twist. Loaded tator tots will rock your world!
Staff is very knowledgable on the beer selection!

Wow. Bell’s Oberon from MI. This place is great. Just as their name says the have Beers from all over the world.
I checked their list of the beers I’ve had in Belgium, Spain, Italy, and even Effes from Turkey — they have them all, and at a reasonable price. They even have beer brewed by the Monks in Belgium for only $ 8.50 for 11ozs — I paid more than that in Belgium.
The guy next to me at the bar just ordered a Coors lite — what’s the point of that when you’ve got all these great brews to try.
Oh and BTW — my bacon burger and cole slaw was excellent.
I’ll be back.

I wish this location was not so far away from my house. This location recently opened in The Villages. I did have a bit of a hard time finding it, but after putting in the movie theater as a location, I was there in no time.
The staff is extremely knowledgable on all the beers and offered several excellent suggestions. If you are coming for a game, try to get here a little early as they do fill up. The average age seemed to be a little older (40’s — 70’s?), but hey, they are all here and drinking beer and having fun!
I think one other important thing to note is that they serve food here! Yes, many WOB’s don’t but this one does. We got the rueben and a chicken sandwich. Both very good, but a little cold. I can understand this as they were busy, and they did just open. I’m sure they will get better with time.
Definitely don’t pass them up if you are in the area!
