Used to be much better. Slow service at 3:30. Bread stale. Drinks ok but expensive. Good ok but could do better at home. Looking for a new Italian restaurant near The Villages.

This place is for people with infinite patience!!! If you’re hungry, don’t bother with this restaurant. We should’ve seen the first red flag when a group of people walked out pissed and told us not to wait. After almost an hour we finally got to our table. As we walked towards our table we noticed 5 empty tables, which made our wait a little odd. Then after ordering our food, we waited another hour and fifteen minutes for the food to come out. During our wait, we didn’t see one single manager walk by our table. The wait was not worth it. Meals have adult prices but kids portions. Unfortunately not all our meals came out at the same time, so after we were told we had to wait more for one of our meals to come out, we decided to leave. This place might have the locals fooled but I can assure you this is not a real Italian restaurant. So sad to see a beautiful building with lots of potential but the service and specially the food are not on par. Poor management, inconsistency in portions, poor quality, high prices, no time limit for expediting meals, etc. We ended up eating at Chilis, and just for fun I timed our service. It took us exactly 22 minutes between entering and our meals being serve!

After waiting for minutes for our salads, and then another 45 for our meals, we left hungry. This was our second visit with poor to NO service at the outside bar, so be warned. We ended up at World of Beer and it was great Don’t miss the WOB Shrimp Tacos for $ 10.

The food was good… just good… two pizza’s, two pasta dishes. Unfortunately, the service was poor… Slow, forgot items, floating items in wine, not friendly. This is the second time there. Was not impressed the first time, so we thought we would give it another shot four months later. Not sure if we are going back.

The food is fresh and authentic Italian. Order the Shrimp & Scallops Giuliana or Snapper Francese. Will definitely be back!

What a great little place. The food was awesome. We went for my Birthday. Jennifer was our server. Great service and everything was fresh. I will be going here again. Thanks for a great time and great food.

Staying in the area… and gave this a shot. I will have to say… Friendly staff, great service, great food… clean. Would totally recommend this place. Will be back if I am ever back in the area.

We had a very good dinner at Ricciardi’s. Our dishes included the Shrimp and Scallops Giulliana, Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Piccata and Veal Parmesan. All were prepared perfectly and quite delicious. We will return. Minor taste issues with some of the dishes. The Caesar salad lacked enough croutons, but the waitress cheerfully brought us more; the Shrimp and Scallop dish had some strange tomatoes with no taste; and I would have liked more Parmesan with my eggplant.

Ate here the previous Friday night with friends who have eaten here before. They raved about this place but after going out with them 3x now, I see their taste is not ours. Undoubtedly, the place is busy, even at 6pm and season being over. I don’t see why, with the Brownwood section of The Villages having many restaurants to choose from. The breadsticks they brought out was Olive Garden variety. Horrible. My husband & a friend ordered mussels marinara & both had to tell the waiter about 5 of the mussels were empty — to their betterment they did bring more. I ordered the chicken parm and the breast was too thick. Both my husband’s and my sauce tasted like Hunt’s. Nice looking restaurant but I won’t ever be back and won’t recommend it to anyone. Any restaurant in the Clermont area does chicken parm better for the same price.

Went here for dinner for six this past week. We ordered sangria and various other drinks accompanied by bruschetta, warm mozzarella, and calamari appetizers, they were all good. Our table ordered various dishes from filet mignon to pasta dishes. I had a shrimp dish and subbed pesto sauce instead of the lemon butter in the menu description. I consider pesto a basic part of Italian cooking repertoire, and was surprised that their version of pesto was a butter sauce with basil leaves sprinkled in. The food was good, service was adequate, the atmosphere was nice, we ate outside on the patio. I only give 4 star and above ratings to restaurants that I definitely would return to and I would pass on this one.

Nothing special here. Had one good meal here. Went back a few weeks later and the meal was OK. We don’t eat pasta because of the high carb content. $ 2 extra to get veggies instead. Really? Maybe get with the 90’s and realize some people don’t want pasta. I’m giving the place an OK, but won’t be back.

Kevin — thank you so much for the wonderful service! You were very attentive and accommodated our every whim. Dinner was fantastic: Mussels fra diavolo appetizer Caprese salad Veal piccata Veal Marsala(only suggestion — less pasta) Fettuccine Alfredo Pizza Hawaiian Lee was a wonderful and attentive manager. He was able to seat is early, and Callie(probably not spelling your name correctly) was a fresh face to greet us! Shout out to the chefs! Wonderful and delicious food. Served hot, all meals correctly delivered and prepared wonderfully! Pasta al dente — we TRULY appreciate the attention to ITALIAN detail! Thank you kindly for the service and wonderful food.

Service was good. Doesn’t know how to pronounce menu items tho. Food was ok. Marinara was pretty disappointing which is a shame. Typical useless management in restaurants like this. I feel for the staff. Hope there’s no kick up. They sure don’t earn it.

we stopped by here for cocktails and munchies(seems like a pattern lately) the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable we had a few beers and a dish of fried mozzarella(hey its the south and they fry stuff down here — get over it) it came covered with a wonderful tomato sauce with some fresh baked rolls mmmm the dining partner had raved about the stuffed pepper appetizer but sadly they were removed from the menu — we were talking about this with the bartender for a while. a wee bit later one of the management staff came out with deep fried sliced peppers while they were not the stuffed peppers they were very good(think of a more flavorful fried pickle) would love to come back here and explore the menu further

Our food was absolutely delicious, and we will eat there again! Our waiter, however, forgot my mother-in-law’s wine, forgot my iced tea, forgot that I asked for sweetener. He forgot to deliver a spoon and also who ordered which drinks(there were four in our party). He was a mess, then blamed his own memory problems on a coworker who was«distracting him.» Later he bragged about multi-tasking well… seriously? He also felt the need to say, «You two must be brothers,» while looking at my husband and I. The man was wearing make upconcealer(make up); how on earth could he be so clueless?

Not really impressed with this one. Waited about 20 mins for my first glass of wine. I had veal parmigiana and my wife had a pasta dish. Although the food was tasty, it wasn’t what I expected for a $ 17.99 entrée. Mine was lukewarm and the veal was not as tender as I’ve had at other restaurants for the similar price. It also was smothered with too much melted cheese — that should have tipped me off. The server was very pleasant, but not very attentive. After bringing us our first glass of wine she never checked with is to take our food order. After about 25 — 30 mins she again walked right by our table without making any eye contact, so I asked her if we could place our order(maybe she had too many tables that night — I’ll give her the benefit if the doubt). The food came out promptly, but it did nothing to excite me. Granted, this restaurant has only been open I few months, so maybe they have a few details to work out. I hope the management pays attention to its social media and makes the necessary adjustments. We’ll give it another try in a couple of months.

Dinner here was even better than the lunch we had a few days ago. I ordered the «pizza da meat» and it was one of the best za ever. Full of pepperoni, Italian sausage and ham — a lot of each, with a great crust. The pizza was terrific. Wife got the chicken ccmpagna and said it was very tasty. To test the wines I first ordered the SAVBLANC«Train Wreck» at $ 10/glass and later followed with the less expensive Grand Cu at $ 5/glass and it was belter than the costly Train Wreck! My wife had the Cab Sauv of Foxhole and said it was good. One of the interesting points of this place is that they have 3 two person booths and we got in within minutes while most others were waiting 45 minutes. If it is just the two of you, try this place.
