Quick, friendly staff! Decent prices! The ambiance is clean and green with plenty of seating. Donuts and meat pie were great! They were out of the Philly Cheesesteak meat pie, so I got the Empanada(with beef, cream cheese, and rotel). The filling had more«oomph» to it compared to your typical bierock, which was nice. The crust was slightly crisp with a flaky inside — yum! A great variety of unique sodas in bottles to go with your meat pies. My kids enjoyed the Cookie Monster, PB Cocoa Puffs, and cinnamon roll they got. My dad loved his maple bacon long john. My only worry in this business succeeding is the location at 47th and Seneca. Best of luck Rolled Donuts — you’re a nice addition to the Wichita fancy donuts scene!

Pocket pies are not something that’s frequently found in the U.S., much less Wichita, so the eternal optimist in me turned my imagination to hearty British pasties as I made the long drive to Rolled on the southern edge of the city. Their meat pies turned out to be less ethnographically influenced than I was hoping, but the product is solid, sort of like a fresh hot pocket or a bierock: a simple meat filling trapped inside of a buttery crispy crust. The difference here is the slight uptick in creativity for the fillings: Philly cheese steak with steak, onions, peppers, and onions; a confusing take on an empanada with sausage, cream cheese, and Rotel; a special Reuben pie with corned beef, Swiss, Thousand Island, and sauerkraut. The pies with vegetables tend to have more complexity, and the tightly-constructed meat pie provides an ample way of eating a sandwich in the car without making a mess. The city is finally catching up to the crazy donut trend. The cake donuts are as decent as cake donuts tend to be. A Fruity Pebbles-based donut was hurt a little bit by the cereal beginning to stale, but the sweet milky frosting carried the concept home. The maple bacon donut was a better interpretation than I’ve seen at other restaurants because of the quality of the thick cut bacon as well as the screaming maple flavor in the frosting. It would be nice to see more exploration in meat pie flavors to get them away from Hot Pocket territory, but Rolled is otherwise a surprisingly nice stop for vintage sodas, a few wacky donuts, or a quick lunch.

Nice clean décor. Plenty of seating. A wide range of speciality sodas and coffee. I tried the chocolate hazelnut soda, it was great. Tried the empanadas meat pie. All their pies are made to order, takes about 6 minutes. Very nice crisp crust. Filling was flavorful, cheesesauce was very runny(broke) which would make this difficult to eat on the run. Ordered a dozen assorted donuts, had a nice appearance some were rather small for the price. Glazed had a good flavor, light and a nice glaze. Blueberry cake donut was nice, plenty of bits of blueberry. Red velvet was rich and moist, bit heavy with glaze.
