Me and my brother were visiting from out of town. At the behest of some friends we checked out molinos. The restaurant was clean and we were told we could sit anywhere. So we did. The waitress was good enough. I ordered the burrito del salsa. The Chipotle sauce was fantastic, the beans and filling was just right. However it wasn’t fresh, still warm. The chicken was dry and tasteless. Overall not bad, not great.

After reading the Reviews, I was anxious to try this place. Let me start by saying that the interior has obviously been updated. And although the interior isn’t very large — it is nicely done. In my opinion, the tables are too small. My Hubby and I each ordered their 4 Taco plate, plus Margaritas and our little table was pretty full! The Waitress seemed to be new — I ask a lot of questions — and she didn’t have the answers. I always read the Reviews before trying a new Restaurant and also try to view the menu, if possible. We were seated at a very small table right by the Kitchen’s exit — so my view was of the Waitress Station. The Server came with Menus and took our order for two Margaritas ‘On the Rocks’. When she arrived back with our drinks and Chips and Salsa, we placed our order. Hubby got the Pork Tacos and I ordered the Steak Tacos. I also asked for an order of Elote(Mexican Grilled Corn with a Cheese Sauce and a sprinkling of Cayenne Pepper). Although, they appeared to use canned corn instead. Right then, the Owner/Manager(?) came by and reminded her to tell us about the Salsa Sampler plate. When our meals were served, the Salsa that she had described as spicy was not spicy enough for us – so I asked her to describe that Sampler Plate. Which we ended up ordering, as well. I suggest that if you like Spicier Salsa ask for the Habanero Salsa and the Habanero Onions. The Tacos were well made but lacked seasoning. My Husband’s Pork Tacos — they had chunks of Pork that he found hard to manage. He ended up eating two of my Steak Tacos and we brought home two of the Pork Tacos for some very spoiled Pups :) Lastly, I have two comments. The rim of the glass on the Margaritas had a Lemon Pepper mix that I rather liked, but Hubby didn’t and finally, lunch was over $ 50 dollars.

The food here is really good. I always go back for the Chorizo with eggs, just the right amount of spice and always have some left after tortillas are gone. I give them a 4 star because it’s a little more expensive than other places in town, seems up scale, they serve wine here which is odd. I’ll still go back on a 2 – 3 times a month basis though.

This is what I want in a local spot tucked into a neighborhood strip mall. When you walk inside you’re greeted by a small foyer with a door to the left and right. Both work!!! LOL. Once inside a good size dining room opens up and I was seated quickly. The staff I encountered were all very attentive and friendly. The food. I ordered 2 piratas. These were huge and phenominal. I had one with chicken and the other with carnitas. My two over size tacos if you will were as delicious and satisfying as they were filling. I also enjoyed the salsa sampler as a starter. It was fun to try the offerings and enjoy the flavors and the two that packed the heat.

This nice little spot in a small strip center has really good street tacos and delicious big, puffy piratas. All the food is presented well, too… very pretty plating. I had shrimp tacos and beef pirata. The shrimp were pretty outstanding. Service was also excellent here.

Always busy, food was fast and beautiful but felt my chicken enchiladas were dry-not any cheese just the white dollop. Rice Beans were very good.

Lover of street tacos and was told I had to give this place a try. Started out strong with great chips and salsa. I ordered four different street tacos. Steak and pork were just alright. The chicken was moist and flavorful but OHMYGOD the shrimp taco was absolutely incredible. I love Mexican rice, and they make it well. Delicious margaritas, too! I will be back for those shrimp tacos

Found this restaurant on Unilocal while traveling thru Wichita. Worth the extra mile off the interstate. Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Will defiantly be back next time I’m in town!

One of my favorite restaurants. First, the food is fantastic! What I really love is the upscale feel and the attention to detail in the presentation of the food. It’s really a one of a kind Mexican restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! Service is always very friendly, the food is wonderful and they offer fair pricing. I highly recommend the stuffed poblano pepper. It’s brand new so can’t find the actual name on the online menus. It’s so good, I dream about going back for more!

The salsa and food I had was very good. Perfect spices and very Tex-mex type flavor a we’ve come to know in the US; however, if you are also interested in having pleasant service that is personable and at least acts like the really want you there, that was not my experience. The music and atmosphere is nice, portions good and chips as well. I’d go back again for the food, but I won’t because of the service.

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here. The young lady serving us was super nice, the atmosphere felt quite homely and the food was just outstanding. I was especially impressed by the pineapple and mint salad. It was fresh, crisp and so different! Also ended lunch with a walk through the bakery next door. The Churros were a treat!

I’m so confused about the things people in wichita love when it comes to food. We went to the east side location and it was for sure the worst experience we’ve had in a restaurant. The place was clean the host was friendly. The waitress we had took forever to come take our drink order, when my husband asked if they had horchata the waitress said«I don’t speak spanish, if it’s not on the menu, I don’t know it» They weren’t busy 10 tables were full. Our food took 45 minutes to get to us. My husband’s tacos came with nothing but a wrinkly lime and cost $ 10. My carnitas were fairly priced but came without any flavor. When we asked for silverware, our waitress yelled at the hostess right next to our table about making sure all tables got some. Every single waitress was walking around with a scowl on her face. Every. Single. One I get it waiting tables isn’t fun all the time, people are rude. I’ve waited tables all my life, I too have resting b**** face but if I want customers to come back, and leave me great tips, I make sure I’m smiling all the time.

The wait is over eastsiders for more great authentic Mexican cuisine. The chips and salsa rock. The guacamole is perfect and the queso dip delightfully real cheese. All tacos come setting up and the fillings are exquisite-steak, chicken, fish and their blend was crazy tasty! And refried beans serve a a great dipping choice after you clean out the cheese and guacamole containers:)

Could’ve have been more delighted that this gem FINALLY opened in our hood. We’ve been watching the building since announcements were made in late September of 2014 and felt like it would never happen. Service on was par, the place was hopping, and of course food was DEEE-LICIOUS! I went with the pirata based on reviews of the other location and my husband went for the variety of 4 street tacos, letting our server pick the fillings based on her personal recommendation. After a side order of guacamole and some of their famous hot sauce, we had more than enough food to feed an entire army at a very reasonable price. I can easily say we will be back, again… and again!

Fantastic place. Don’t judge until you taste the food. We started with salsa de queso along with chips and salsa. They a salsa sampler that I will try next time. I had one pirata with cochinita pibil(pork). It was great. I’m glad I didn’t get two as it is large. The rice was good. The refried beans and house salsa could be better but I f I lived in ict, I would be there once a week.

Loved it! The ambience is bistro-like, tasteful, and comforting. The staff friendly and accommodating. Their house margarita is the BEST in town, the glass rimmed with a unique lemon-pepper. I started with a generous helping of their delicious, creamy guacamole. I’m not a big salsa fan but Molino’s is hearty and fresh. I would highly recommend one of their specialtie, s piratas, sooo good. Also sampled the cauliflower cerviche and enjoyed it. After our marvelous meal we walked next door to the Juarez Bakery, oh yeah…

I’ve been going to Molino’s for a little while and if you’re willing to give the restaurant time to find out what you really enjoy from the menu, then you won’t be disappointed. The piratas are delicious and when I first started coming here I would lean towards ordering the fish tacos. I had issue with these dishes because they seemed slightly pricier than I’d like, but I still kept managing to come back and try new things. Eventually, I got to their salad(the one with pineapple, I can’t remember the name) and I would order that with both tilapia and cauliflower ceviche — deliciousness! I started wanting smaller portions(for weight loss) so ordering the half salad this way was exactly the right amount of food and super reasonably priced. Even so, I started craving more cauliflower ceviche and started ordering this with a side of elote … oh gosh, it was OVER for me. I could eat this for the rest of my life. Sometimes, I’d ask for a side of chicken if I wanted more oomphf, but I really fell in love with this dish. Tried to make it at home, but you know, everything is better when someone else cook’s it. Unfortunately, I won’t eat this as much because I’m staying away from onions and the ceviche is prepared ahead of time. My boyfriend orders the taco salad and I steal bites often. Pretty nummy. Fat girl in me wants: piratas, taco salad Skinny girl in me wants: Cauliflower ceviche, extra avocado, hold the tostada or half salad Best of both worlds: Ceviche+xtra avocado+chicken+elote+stealing bites from someone else’s plate Service is back and forth, sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s meh. I’m not picky about service though and frankly, I don’t think people really should be if the food is good and the price is right, but to each their own.
