Starbucks

I am not a two star giver but this Starbucks leaves me no choice. Talk about a mess. This place looks like hell and not, we just got done with a rush, hell. It just looks like plain hell. Sorry guys but a little cleaning wouldn’t be bad idea. So the next bomb was they were out of brewed coffee. Wtf! I’m sorry but that is the one thing you should have on point is the coffee. And it wasn’t like they were literally in the middle of brewing. My order prompted them to start the brewing. Stunned I know. The person taking the orders was super nice but the one making them not so much. All in all, the counters were a sticky mess, there was no coffee and the barista looked and acted like she wanted to kick my ass. Not a happy time at Starbucks. The coffee was good though :/

Ok… Let me gather myself up and write about what just happened 10 minutes ago. Today is April 2^nd 2016, i gave this Starbucks two chances to make it up for the bad experience I had the week prior, and they let me down AGAIN! So let me explain what happened last week. I came in and asked for two grande lattes. Not only did they take forever but the barista has the worst attitude ever, she really looked like she was not having it. Ok I get it we all have our bad days, but is it really necessary to take it out on the customer? So when it’s time to get my drinks I kindly asked the same girl for a cup holder/​tray thing. She doesn’t say anything, so I assumed she probably didn’t hear me since she didn’t reply, she turns around and LITERALLY THROWS the cup holder at me and walks away. Now let me tell you about today, I ordered one grande latte extra shot. I’m waiting there for an eternity, the barista puts down a grander TRIPLE shot latte (remember I ordered a double shot latte) I’m assuming it’s someone else’s, so I wait even longer until I finally ask her if she has a double grande latte coming up and she says no, also with an attitude and I explain to her what happened so she makes me a new one and just kinda leaves it there, didn’t say sorry or, «here you go» nothing! I didn’t even have it how I asked for in the first place. I got a regular latte, so on top of that i paid for the extra shot which I didn’t even get. I will never come back to this Starbucks ever again! Bad service, and rude employees!

The tables are dirty, the baristas consistently flub the order and hand you your drink with the coffee dripping down the side of the cup. Emerald is the exception, she’s awesome.

Excellent customer service. Friendly cashiers, great manager, awesome baristas. Overall the very friendly employees. I appreciated the service, food and drinks that we ordered.

In order for the workers at this location to be «moving slow», they’d have to be moving. One person working the register… one person at the bar… and one person twittling her thumbs.
They needed the thumb twittler to help make drinks. 6 drinks behind and no one is motivated to pitch in

The Location– it’s nice to have a café Starbucks that is still around. Drive-​thrus suck for the most part.
The Service– the baristas were polite and fast with service. You honestly can’t go wrong with anyone here they are so polite and know me by my first name.
The Accessibility– they are opened from 5:30– 10 pm on the weekdays and 11pm on the weekends! There’s also plenty of parking on the streets and a parking lot near by!
The Environment– It’s a huge store with a few plugs for your computer and nice art everywhere.
The Signature– I always love it when they greet people when they walk in. The night crew especially are very informative and can keep calm during a weekend rush.

Busy, understaffed, and to top it off, they mess up the drinks. Nothing tastes the same at this location. Please spare yourself the aggravation!!!

Did. They get new workers?
Because my dirty Chai clearly didn’t have much espresso taste to it.
The wait wasn’t too bad.
The uncomfortable thing about it was the homeless guy in there asking me for change ME (not others but me and yes I am very observant) then had the nerve to ask me for change Again when I left this starbucks location.
LIKE REALLY! … (Obviously I ignored it)
WHERE’S the security when you need it.
Uptown whittier needs to do a sweep of these crackheads, bothering people around here. No wonder most businesses don’t last as long after they’re lease is up!
All in All I only hope that uptown whittier cleans up the place, so that consumers don’t feel harassed by the local tweekheads, asking for change.
Smh smh!

Not sure if they aren’t measuring the drinks right, but I ordered a black tea lemonade and it didn’t taste very good (I always order the same drinks from every starbucks). Also ordered a blueberry oatmeal and got oatmeal with a pack of nuts and a spoon, no sugar, honey or blueberries. Not to thrilled with this location.

Every time I go to this Starbucks never fails my drink taste like crap and let me tell you I go to Starbucks every day I know what my drink taste like. I went today after my lunch and my caramel macchiato had no flavor at all and I asked for whip cream I opened my coffee and it was all foam I am not paying almost 5 $ for a coffee to get foam!!! Never will I ever go back to this Starbucks! Never fails I want what I pay for

Came on a Saturday night and our drinks were porrly made. We got half of what we payed for. They put whip cream when we asked them not to. And my Chai tea latte tastes more like milk than usual. Overall sucks.

This place now closed at 10p… was there a minute before but we were told that they were closed. At least Coffee Bean is still open!

Got there at 520am doors were still locked. This location opens at 5:00 am. They were inside stocking or doing who knows. I’ve been to many Starbucks just after they open where they are multi tasking stocking and helping the few customers that get there really early.

After a not so pleasant experience, Candida, the store manager, invited me back and made up for it. She, along with Hazel, Emilio, and Eric were extremely hospitable, professional, and friendly. This just shows that although they may have fallen short in the past, they still went above and beyond to hold the Starbucks name on high. Thank you!

A great Starbucks in a great location. They have fast WiFi and haven’t gotten a bad drink here. It seems like their pastry case is empty a lot though (maybe they sell out with the morning rush?) so I haven’t tried any of their food.
There are a lot of tables here, a variety of big and small, so you can come with a group or come alone and get some work done. There are no tables outside though, which would be very nice with the Uptown atmosphere. Maybe one day!
There is only street parking here, unless you go down the way a bit to the public garage. I live within walking distance, but the two times I’ve driven here I haven’t had a problem finding a spot.

Let’s talk about this Starbucks for a bit.
Ok, here we go.
This place is ran by stressed out employees who need help. Like they need help. Hey manager!!! Hire people because THEY NEED HELP. It’s super busy here, its dirty up in here and there are bums just always asking for money up in here.
Now let me tell you a story.
One day I was craving a cold brew threnta.
A nice cold brew threnta.
Sounds good right?
But you know what I got after I ordered this cold brew threnta?
I got a venti! The cashier forgot I ordered a threnta.
It was one of the saddest moments this Summer.
Just I don’t know, these employees though.
GET THEM HELP!
One person making drinks for so many thirsty customers just isn’t the business.
So in the end… this location… this place… this Starbucks is just
…EH.

Located in down town Whittier this location is just ok. I must say it is always a bit busy but tables are not always clean. Bathrooms are not really kept up. Employees seem to be a bit slow and not always on top of orders and sometimes not so friendly. Definitely not my fave location but when I am in the area and want Starbucks I will stop in …

I enjoyed my time and the area a bit more when I discovered there was a Starbucks so close to my hotel. Coffee was good, such as to be expected with Starbucks, and the staff were friendly. Parking was a bit difficult so I just walked over there.

I have been to this Starbucks couple of times because it’s close by my aunt’s business. Did I mention that I’m a Starbucks fanatic? Well I’ve been a gold member forever.
At this particular location, there is never parking nearby, but there is a pay lot across the street. So I decided to walk here at the most recent visit. It is always crowded and loud inside. Since it was not my first time here, I recognized this one customer; she sits at the same table and talks to herself and her imaginary person. She was talking kind of loud too. Not to be mean or anything but that scared me.
Always crowded and only using one register.
Service is terrible here; baristas don’t have any customer service. I don’t like to be talked down to.
I ordered four drinks and asked for a tray and the barista told me that they ran out and that I would have to carry my drinks. To top it off they didn’t have any of the big straws for my Venti drinks. REALLY??? The price that I’m paying for each of my drink I better get a tray and straws big enough that would allow me to drink my drinks. I was extremely disappointed.
Along the cast of homeless in & outside the store– this likely will be my last time to ever visit this store. I have to say this location is on the bottom of my Starbucks list.

Thought I would try ‘again’ my local Starbucks and once again BIG mistake. Service terrible– attendants attitude absolutely suck– and to wait 10– minutes for a ‘grande’ Ice Coffee is unacceptable. Along the the cast of homeless in & outside the store– this likely will be last time to ever visit this store. Local Whittier assholes!
Take my daily coffee business back to Coffee Bean located one block away.
