Good pastries but the service is rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming. The place is unsanitary and they use no gloves and trays you pick up your food is used by the next person. The only good thing about this place is the tamales and pastries. That’s all, service sucks. The real heavy big lady is really rude and unfriendly, was all nice and sweet to the white ladies before me in line and then when it was my turn, she didn’t have a care in the world and was plain up rude and nasty to me for no reason. Maybe she’s racist towards Asians, I don’t know. but they need to step up their game, hire friendlier lady workers and have better hygiene! I hope the big lady gets fired, she so rude :)

If you love pan dulce and are tired of the fake bread that chain grocery stores sell, I suggest you stop here. I visited this location several years ago and loved it, I went in this week and was just as happy. I purchased 3 conchas that tasted like little sugar clouds, fluffy and soft. They also have cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed bolillos that are delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve only had the opportunity to visit here once, but let me just say that their bread is out of this world good! It wasn’t dry, it wasn’t overly sweet, it was just perfect. Oh, and their tamales, insanely good too. Highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Roaches! I know many people who come here for the pan dulce. I’ve eaten it many times and loved it every time. I just stopped by tonight just as I was finished picking all of my favorites, I spot 2 roaches on the shelves where the pan dulce is. I told the woman clerk, she says nothing to me. No apology, no expression on her face at all other than a blank stare. Maybe she was in shock. I walked out and went into my car and watched her through the window as she went to the showcase and looked around for about 15 seconds at most, then put all of the pan dulce I had picked back onto the shelves. I never saw her move any shelves or pull anything out to search. Let’s hope they take care of this asap!

Good pan dulce but I was extremely disappointed by the piggies. They were hard and crumbly, the fist time I had ever had one like that and it was awful in my opinion. I like when they are soft. Maybe they weren’t fresh… I don’t know but I won’t be trying them for a second time in a row. I was really hoping to be blown away but wasn’t. On to the next panaderia.

They just can’t seem to get my kids birthday cakes right. Simple instructions with pictures and description and for one reason or another they always screw them up. And believe me I’m not asking for anything super special, green cake with a creeper face. After the 2nd time I’ve pretty much given up on them. I’m off to find another bakery.

I come here for the tamales when I’m in my hometown. They are delicious & always fresh & the prices can’t be beat.

I just moved down the block from here and thought I’d try out the tamales. … I made a great choice. I now come here every weekend to get tamales and strawberry conchas. Very good! They should consider selling menudo and carnitas.

I’ve gotten three cakes from here; two for birthdays and one for my daughter’s first communion. Cakes are delicious; very moist and the filling and frosting is not the gross super sweet stuff. The prices are extremely low for custom decorated cakes. The only reason I don’t give five stars is that there is always some difference in appearance from the picture and what I get. If I was looking for detail perfect I might be disappointed. But for the price and the flavor being right on, they are great for a casual event where you want something tasty and cute but not necessarily a show stopper.

Went in to get my morning concha and the older lady didn’t even greet you. Bought some conchas and they seemed and tasted I would say 2 days old. Nasty I will have to find me a new place for conchas.

Great pan dulce. But I found a big, black and ugly fly in the bread. I told the ladies and they gave me a nasty look. No pan dulce for me today.

Great tamales. Staff is nice and polite. I haven’t tried the pan dulce or the bollilos but every time I get tamales, there’s several people asking for tech bread and bollilos.

I Love This Place!!! The Employees Are Friendly, They Don’t Judge You, They Welcome Anyone & Everyone. The Pan Is Always Warm & Freshh When I Stop By Here, I Believe It’s About 0.60−0.65 Cents Average Price For Buying The Pan. Their Bolillos Are To Die For, I Looooove The Chicken & Cheese Tamales!!! They Have A Really Authentic Taste To Them, The Only Thing I Don’t Like Is How Popular This Place Has Gotten In The Last Few Years. Now You Have To Be Super Early To Make It In Time For The Tamales. They Sell Extremely Quickly. I Took Off A Star Because Lately When I’ve Been Coming There Hasn’t Been Chicken Tamales. I Wish They Would Start Making More Seeing How Popular They’ve Gotten But Don’t See That Happening. :/Bummer !

Came in today exactly at noon and they still has plenty of tamales left. If you’re not an early bird you can always count on them to have tamales into the late morning/early afternoon. The kitchen had about 8 people in the back making tamales. This place is a machine. Six tamales and two Cokes… $ 13.00 flat!

bring cash! 75cents to use debit. It was ok… I got that raspberry roll looking thing. I thought itd be more moist but it was kind of dry. Maybe it was suppose to be kind of dry? I dunno it didnt taste ‘baked this morning’ fresh… I ate it with ice cream at home which helped with the dryness.

This is the only place we go to get pan dulce. They have so many selections and the staff are nice. Any time we have a craving for some this is the place.

Great family run Mexican bakery. So this is probably my first time buying mexican sweet bread/pastries(although not my first time eating it), but I had no clue what I was grabbing nor if they tasted good. I had to buy some for an office luncheon. All of the pastries I grabbed tasted great, although some were a bit on the sweeter side, everyone at my office still enjoyed them. I especially liked the custard filled ones, so good. And everything was so cheap! Only about .60 cents for each pastry. I grabbed a whole box and it was only about $ 15 dollars. I wish I read the Unilocal reviews earlier about all the tamales, and I was wondering why the guy before me was ordering chicken tamales so early at 9AM in the morning, so I definitely need to come back for those.
