Good food, well prepared. Great music spinning. Pricey though for a double burger, double cheese burger, frys shake and a water. $ 27!!!

Tasty burgers and delicious cajun fries! The burgers here are tasty. I like ‘em with just the patties, cheese, mayo and bacon. Get those veggies outta here! Well, maybe some grilled onions but that’s it. I’m also a huge fan of their fries. Though I have to say they are pretty heavily seasoned if you’re into that. By the end of your meal your fingers should be covered in Cajun seasoning if they seasoned them they way I like ‘em. The guys here are super cool and last time I was just shooting the breeze talking to one of them while I waited for my food and I mentioned how much I love their fries and he hooked a brother up! Bag was filled with fries. Good thing they have a lot of delicious Ginger Ale to wash ‘em all down. I do have to mention that the burgers don’t always come out the same. Sometimes they don’t melt the cheese right or they don’t add enough mayo, but the fries are always good and keep me coming back. Pros: + Cajun Fries + Cool staff + Ginger Ale + Cheeseburgers Cons: — Inconsistent with burger preparation

Over priced. $ 15-$ 18 per person, and you won’t leave full. Came here with my boyfriend as first timers, and we were so mad at ourselves because we could of had INO across the street which I could honestly say is better than Five Guys 100% We were still hungry too after spending a little over $ 30 My burger was decent and tasted like a burger I could of made at home. It had a good home-made taste but good enough for the price. They were stingy with the fries too which were in a little cup, and were luke warm. I honestly wanted to ask for a new batch of fries but didn’t feel like fighting with the employees so I ate my money pretty much. Won’t return again unless someone treats me here then that’ll be an excuse to come back Unilocal readers PLS go to INO if you want a good sastifying meal & to save money

Very bad customer service!!! Ordered some fries and they were over done! Asked for a new batch and they told me «that’s how we cook them» really! Throw them straight to the trash! Very disappointed with this place.

I’m always satisfied when I eat at 5 guys. The food is so good better than in and out I say. I know people aren’t going to like hearing that. But I wanted to give a shoutout to the customer service. My fries were a little over done and that’s all I had to say before they put in a fresh batch and got them to me just how I like them. Thanks guys! And gals!

My first time eating @fiveguys, I’m not really into burgers. There like whatever but I gotta say this spot was pretty good. The way you can hook up your burger is just perfect. The customer service was just right its self especially the main cooked it looked like from working in the food industry a while. Good job Five Guys in Whittier.

Came here cause in n out had the longest line I’ve ever seen in their drive thru. I was craving a burger and figured I’ll go to five guys instead, since it’s usually empty, and yes it was empty. Came in at 2pm and a handful of people were in there. I ordered a little hamburger and small drink. I was shocked when it came out to $ 8! This is why I don’t come here. It’s too damn expensive. Also, the staff kept referring to me as boss. Not a very professonal attitude from the workers.

Food is delicious, staff is great. The only things missing was one of those bells you ring if your food was great! Awesome experience!

This place offers a really good«make it how you like it» burger! Classic, clean lettuce, tomatoes, onions & pickles and there’s more, the fries are very crispy, and they offer a really generous portion.

Five Guys is a more home feel burger joint. It’s not as heavy as other places leaving you feel crazy full. It’s like a backyard burger to me. It’s very good, but way too pricey. It has lots of toppings to choose to to customize your burger. The Cajun fries have a little kick to them and taste good, but only the first few for me. The regular fries were okay. They have a barrel of peanuts that you can grab a little plate to go or sit at the table and snack on. They have the fountain drink with all the different types of drinks to choose like coke, coke zero, and so on. I don’t come here often mainly because it is pricey and I feel like I could make the same burger at home. The customer service is also just okay. They were nice but very quiet when we were asking questions. It wasn’t the most welcoming I felt they could have been.

Five guys is a great place to go if you want a really customized burger on the go for a reasonable price. Compared to other burger joints, it definitely costs a bit more. They have a lot of toppings to choose from, plus, you’re even able to change the sauce to different ones, such as BBQ sauce or A1 Steak sauce.

Southern Cali native and would much rather have five guys. I call it a manly mans burger not that dainty double double from in n out(I do love in n out though) But it’s like comparing apples to oranges anyway. I am a toppings and fries kinda gal! I load my burger! Love the Cajun fries and big portion! For all those that complain about the price take your cheap self somewhere else. Want a dollar burger go to mcdonalds for a plastic patty. And besides, this a an east coast joint, know the product and understand the price. I don’t mind paying for quality. And that’s what I get every time here. Tired of cheapos Unilocaling things based solely on price. Everyone wants to pay 5 bucks for a whole meal with leftovers to take home and could care less about the quality…

Ambience is laid back. Guys are very nice and friendly. I got the small burger. Choose grilled onions and mushroom with lettuce. They served quite small quantity wanted more toppings but wasn’t specific. Hamburger was pretty tasty and so was my Cajun fries. Next time I know how to order better. Obtw toppings are free.

If your looking for a classic burger with that good old school taste this would be your place. It’s like a burger made at a snack bar at your local park if that makes any sense. The burgers is not made till you order it and you get to pick exactly what you want. You pick your toppings and they make it the way you order it. Burger was juicy and delicious and cooked to perfection. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and my fiancée had the little bacon cheeseburger. We both shared an order of Cajun fries. The fries were very seasoned and good but a little soggy. Could have been a little crispier for me. All in all it was a good classic burger and fries that we would definitely go back. Oh! I also forgot to mention they have boxes full of peanuts so you can scoop some up and eat at your table while you wait. They also have those really cool coke machines that you can pick many different flavors of drinks. Can’t go wrong with that!

All In-N-Out bias aside, this place is pretty damn good. While essentially I still prefer the taste of a double double, it’s very unfair to compare this place to its competitor located conveniently across the street. While the two establishments share the same red-white indoor color scheme, the two couldn’t be any more different. From the very moment I walked in I was greeted by the nice lady all the way behind the counter. She was very kind and courteous, and since this was my first ever visit, she explained to me how the food is normally ordered and how there are no combos. I had a single cheeseburger with Cajun fries. I must say, the burgers are huge and delicious, with a homemade sort of kick to it. The Cajun fries were really bomb, and I couldn’t help but keep eating my leftover ones from the bag while I was driving back home. The only major hiccup is the price, as whole meal will set you back at least $ 10 or so. But with great customer service like theirs, it’s worth it to return. Real burger enthusiasts will throw petty arguing on the side and enjoy all the great stuff, whether it be In-N-Out, Five Guys, or the Habit.

Let me begin this by saying I love the free peanuts in the shell you can snack on while you wait for your order or even take a couple. bags to go. I ordered the bacon cheese burger which I will admit was. good, but it didn’t” have me singing the Daham! Song. LOL My daughter ordered the bacon wrapped cheese hot dog and said it was fabulous! The fries were good, the place was clean so was the restrooms .The service was quick friendly and very welcoming. But ad.much as I’d love to have fallen in love with their burgers, I just can’t. They were warm, and juicy, cooked. really well, but I am a California Girl, born and bred and they aim“t got nothing on our IN N OUTBURGERS. I think IN n Out has the better burger, but I will be going back to check out that fabulous bacon wrapped cheese hot dog. and some more free peanuts! :-)
