Stopped by this place the other day since I had heard good things about it especially from my mom and sister-in-law. Ordered the Bobby with extra cranberry but it seems they forgot the turkey and stuffing. Read another review about ratio of bread to filling and I totally agree. Too much bread in regards to turkey, etc. and on top of that, bread was stale The good, the flavors of the turkey, cranberry, and stuffing were excellent. Just wish the stale bread overwhelmed them. I doubt I will be back unless someone asks me to pick them up a sandwich but I would highly discourage it.

Great roast beef sandwich if you’re a fan of «dehydrated» meats. It was as dry as day-old, overcooked chicken breast if you can imagine how un-enjoyable that sounds to eat. I mean, maybe it was an off day for the roast beef but if that’s the case 86 it for the day at least. Don’t let paying customers leave your sandwich shop with a barely edible sandwich and of course now a poor impression of your establishment. I’d have taken a Togo’s, Jimmy Johns and yes even a subway roast beef sandwich over this in a heartbeat. Oh, and they added tomatoes and onions to my sandwich against my direction as well(maybe the tomato was to help moisten the dried out roast beef.?). Either way, don’t see myself craving anything from Capriotti’s anytime soon.

Love their Bobbie sandwich! It’s a thanksgiving feast in the form of a sandwich. The first time I had it I felt confused. I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not, all I knew is that I wanted another bite. And another. And another. Then once I got used to the initial weird sweet and savory combination, I become a huge fan and have had that sandwich plenty of times since. I’ve also tried their Capastrami which I think is great. Another delicious sandwich. Pros: + The Bobbie + Capastrami + Large bags of chips for families Cons: — Inconsistent with the amount of pastrami they add to the Capastrami

Great service. Nicest group of employees. My wife loved the Bobbie. I am a huge Cheesesteak fan. Best in our area by far. Our kids enjoyed the Turkey Chili. Fair price big portions. A must try.

I give this place credit. Anywhere that roasts whole turkeys and serves the meat pulled instead of the processed turkey roll that many sandwich shops serve earns a little bit of respect in my book. But that’s about where the compliments end. This place just isn’t very good. You know how Subway serves a sandwich with a tiny amount of meat and a head of shredded lettuce? The meat-to-veg ratio is off and that(among MANY other things) has always bothered me about Subway. Capriotti’s has the meat-to-bread ratio way off. The meat is good, but there just isn’t enough of it to overcome the chewy bread that overcomes each and every bite. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures to sort of back up my point. But you can understand when you imagine how a bread roll is. It is U-shaped. The toppings are placed inside. So the first bite of the sandwich is pretty good. That delicious turkey and Capriotti’s hot pepper spread made for a pretty good first bite. But the second bite was 90 percent bread. I tried different things on the next bite such as taking a smaller bite at the top to leave more toppings at the bottom, but that bread was still overwhelming. I finished the sandwich like a salad, eating the insides with a fork and tossing the bread. Again, it was good, but it wasn’t something I’d come back for because of that thick bread. A couple of other things that turned me off: 1. The chip selection is mostly off brands. When I go to a sandwich shop, I expect to see Lay’s, Doritos, etc. I had never heard of most of the chip brands at Capriotti’s except for Sun Chips, and who wants to eat Sun Chips? 2. The workers had an in depth discussion about sex yelling across the back of the work area. There were many vulgarities thrown back and forth. I’m no prude, but that isn’t something I want to hear while I’m eating dinner. I don’t know if they forgot that I was there(I was the only one in the restaurant at the time) or if they simply didn’t care, but it was a big turnoff. 3. It is quite expensive. Again, I don’t mind paying for quality, but my sandwich, drink, and off-brand chips came to almost $ 14. So while I was impressed with the turkey, the bread was too much. I won’t be returning.

I’ve heard good things so I came to check it out. I’ve always loved sandwiches but I’m so tired of the Subway style of sandwich making. This is closer to the authenticity homemade style of sandwich. At least the one I had, The Cran-Slam Club. Just like the sandwiches I make the day after Thanksgiving. Good stuff. I’ll be back to try other sandwiches.

A true hidden gem, Capriotti’s showcases what a true sandwich shop should be. With fresh ingredients, excellent presentation, and a gormet dining atmosphere, this is far more than just your average fast food sandwich spot. This particular location was very clean and organized with excellent service. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Watched«Cops» for 5 minutes until the only employee I saw my entire visit had time to stop making the other customer’s sandwich and take my order. He was pleasant(and doing his best solo), but you’d have thought it was midnight not a Monday at 7pm based on the service. Sandwich was excellent.

I enjoy the sandwiches the only reason I’m giving such a low rating is because the last couple times I’ve been there they’ve been outta bread. How does that happen at a sandwich shop? Seriously! Once at 8pm and another at 4pm. I just don’t get. Total bummer.

I continue to go, trying to find the«great» sandwiches people talk about. So far, I have tried the roast beef(super bland), the cheesesteak(all bread, very little meat or cheese), and the capistrami(just plain gross). I don’t know, maybe it is just me, but I have not been impressed. I guess it is back to Jersey Mike’s.

I thought I’d finaly try Capriotti’s after passing by it countless times. The interior looks very cool and the counter had a brick face which added some flair to the interior design. The service was great and it was awesome to see the food prep take your orders early so that you can get your sandwiches faster and be on your way. I got the Capastrami and it was solid. The meat was a tad bit salty and $ 12 for a medium size(1 foot) sandwich was a bit more than I expected. That said, the taste was there and the coleslaw in the sandwich was very good. I definitely want to come back and try the other sandwiches, but I will admit that I won’t come here too often since the price is a bit steep.

5 stars? yep! for what it is(a sandwich chain) this is as good as it gets! I discovered capriotti’s on the food network and was excited to see there was one a few miles from home. The staff is friendly and the Bobbie sandwich does not disappoint! basically the bobbie is thanksgiving dinner on a bun, you got freshly baked turkey(baked inhouse every day), stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Soo delicious and in line with other chain sandwich places in terms of pricing. Ive also had a salad here in the past and it too was great. Highly recommended !!!

I only gave it a four because The cheese steak tasted like any other though their bread seemed fresh and had a good taste. Still going back…

The Bobbie… aka the Thanksgiving Sandwich at our house is awesome! If you like the day after Thanksgiving sandwich you can get it all year at this place! We always invest in the largest sandwich with easily feeds me and my husband for more than 1 meal!

Great place for vegetarians. Although it does seem pricey. A 20 in sandwich can last quite a while. They also honor the Unilocal free soda which is awesome! Dining area is a bit limited but all in all I love this place. The employees here are so nice! You can take the survey for $ 3 off too!

Vegetarian review: Great place for veggie sandwiches that include a meat substitute. Veggie Cole Turkey: — The Russian sauce is really good. A thousand island of sorts, but different. — Filled with veggie turkey and cole slaw. This combo– totally a winner. I know there’s a Swiss cheese(provolone?) in there too, but it’s like, secondary or tertiary to all the other flavors. — Delicious. Veggie Cheese Steak: — Not bad, but not as flavorful as the Veggie Cole Turkey. It’s good if you want something hot. — Not as, um, salted? as I would like? I know, that sounds awful… — No real ‘cheese steak’ flavor. All sandwiches are pretty filling. Some people gripe about the cost, but the size of the sandwiches are pretty fair. Service: — I went in once to place a large order, but I had to have everything separated because there were: 1. Vegans and 2. The sandwiches were for later that night. The servers were nice enough to separate everything out into bits so I could assemble it later later. Seriously, they separated everything: cheese, sauces, cole slaw, mayo, bread, veggie turkey. There’s almost always a check-in for either free chips or a drink, depending on which Capriotti’s you go to. It’s clean, the wait’s not to long, and parking is easy to find. And the stamp card is a nice bonus.

Nothing to brag about here. Had the cole turkey sandwich, had to order hot peppers to give it some flavor. Simply too skimpy, all I could taste was the bread. Anyhoot! Free drink with check in was the highlight here.

my favorite lunch time spot in town(i live 35 mins away and id make the drive in rush hour traffic to eat here!!!) When they first opened i walked in just to see what it was since it was a new spot. They were giving everyone that walked in free subs! They gave me and my buddy about 3 – 4 of them! we gave the extras to our co-workers i thought that was sweet of them considering we didn’t even ask for the extras. I mainly order the bobby, its their signature sub and its THEBEST! all their food tastes fresh and homemade, i love that! Now i’ve read some bad reviews on their customer service and i want to shut every single one of them up right now!!! their customer service is the best of its kind. i am huge complainer of customer service because i feel like it is non-existent these days, so i’m very picky on how im treated in an establishment, but every single person i’ve come in contact with here has had such a great attitude that i had to make a this review. they are always friendly, talkative, energetic, and most importantly HAPPY. they make the experience there worth it, not to mention their food rocks! they have a nice shaded spot to sit outside if u don’t want to sit inside. the décor is modern and the restaurant always looks so tidy and clean. hats off to everyone at Capriotti’s i tell everyone about you guys and you have a long time customer with me :)) hearts*****

A solid 4+ for this franchise. The sandwiches are huge and the ingredients are consistent. What really takes this place over the top is the service. I am not sure who the guy at the register is: Owner/Manager/Employee? Either way, he is fantastic and the hospitality by the entire staff is pretty incredible for a chain. I don’t come here often, but when I do I am very impressed with the service. The wonderful man at the register makes sure you know what options are available for your sandwiches. You can get both sweet AND spicy peppers on the same sandwich. Pretty cool, given that I usually have to give a nod nod and wink wink to the sandwich artists at other shops just to get some cilantro. The service is also prompt and the dining area is very well maintained. Parking, at times, can be iffy because it shares a big lot with other fast dining franchises. Overall, every encounter here has been positive. Where else does the guy at the register leave his post and deliver your to-go sandwich as soon as it is ready? Pretty awesome. Also, check in for your free large drink!

I had tried this place about a month ago and I was very very impressed with their customer service. I wish I could remember his name because he was so nice and helpful and smiling. He made our experience a better one. The food here is really good. I love their sandwich that has the cranberry in it. The chicken was a bit dry but it still tasted good. I don’t come here often because I always forget about it. But I look forward to trying it again. It is in a busy shopping area that always has a lot of people. This place is right by Five Guys. Seating is also a little small but when we went there was no one else in there.
