George’s Burgers

I love their chicken breast salad and their chicken sandwich. I don’t like their breakfast burritos though they put some weird salsa on it. They do take a while to make your order though. But the wait is worth it!

I tried this place out recently due to working near by for my lunch time. I tried the chicken breast sandwich combo and surprisingly it was pretty good. It was seasoned well but not like the other hamburger places. I’ve been to this place several times now and I keep going back to my first choice.
The place is in need of remodeling but other than that it’s a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

This place used to be really, really good. Apparently there is a new cook and the quality of food has declined quite a bit. In addition, there are new people working the counter — I don’t know if that means they are under new management or not, but the place has gotten terrible. The quality of the food is bad, you no longer get a salad with your dinner. (I ordered a chicken fingers dinner which has come with a salad for the 4+ years we have been going here. When I got there a few weeks ago they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. The lady rudely told me «WE HAVE NEVER GIVEN SALADS OUT!» which leads me to believe they are under new ownership).
Anyway, we will NOT be going here anymore. There is a Sam’s Burgers down on Telegraph and Leffingwell. Everyone there is pretty amazing and the food is delicious. Why would I spend more at George’s Burgers only to get crappy food and crappy treatment?

Wow, this place has gone downhill. Ordered cheese steak hoagie and fries. Never got the fries. Wish I never got the hoagie. Meat was tasteless, almost no cheese but lots of weird mayo sauce on a very old, stale and dry roll. Why serve such crap? Now instead of a repeat customer, they’ll get no more of my money. There’s a million other places to go to. Even the Carl’s down the street would’ve been better, and Carl’s is pretty bad.

Not even a hello when u walk in. I actually had to greet the guy cleaning before he acknowledged us. Took about 5 min…
Anyways…we ordered chili cheese fries and a bacon cheeseburger. The fries were good. Nothing special about them. I had to add some mustard for more flavoring. The burger came out with the cheese still cold. It didn’t look appetizing at all. It was no Paul’s Place or Harry’s Place (my normal burger joints) I will not be back here.

Love them !!! Great food !!! Love Nere, and the owner is hilarious, been coming here since I was 13, I’m 21 years of age now. Still loud it!

It’s a good hole in the wall kind of place. I really like their burger combos and chicken strips. Gets really busy at lunch, and the food is made fresh so sometimes it takes a while to get your order.

The other day my coworker picked up some zucchini and there was a metal piece in it. Make sure and check your food.

I must admit that pulling into this place was a little intimidating. The signage was worn out and the building looked run down, but I still gave it a try. I went through the drive through, so I didn’t see the inside, but the menu had a variety of hoagies, sandwiches and burgers. I got the hamburger combo and was pleased with their fries and burger. I would come back for lunch here again.

I decided to give George’s burger a try after reading all the positive reviews. To say the least the food was so so. The burger was decent but the taquitos were lacking in taste. I’ve had frozen taquitos that you can buy at your local super market that tasted better. I do appreciate them giving me some fries when I didn’t ask for any. Those were decent also. The lady at the drive thru window was really friendly though.

Wow! I always pass by this place because it’s tucked into a corner and never has customers. I figured it was bad food.
Boy was I wrong!
Pulling up to the drive through I was confused to see teriyaki bowls on the menu. I was a bit put off by the prices also. We ordered a club sandwich, which doesn’t come with fries unless you get the combo, we also ordered an order of zucchini.
Again I was confused to see the club sandwich wrapped in foil and not in the traditional styrofoam box with fries in the center. Instead it was wrapped in foil and only cut in half. It was delicious. One of the best clubs I’ve ever had. The zucchini was a bit stale but was still very delicious. Their ranch dressing is also on my top 5 list.
If you get a chance give this one a shot. I’m sure the other foods are amazing.
Paid 12 dollars for a club sandwich combo and order of zucchini.
Portions were pretty big too.
For the curious: Zucchini was thin cut and fries were medium thickness.

Alrighty so the food is pretty good. Typical burger spot. Good sandwiches too.
BUT, the service is horrible! I’ve been a few times and everytime is on my lunch break so I always go through the drive through. Everytime I’ve been it’s the same Hispanic lady at the window and she is SO rude. She’s the only person I’ve dealt with, since I don’t go inside so I can’t say everyone is horrible. I won’t go back thats forsure!

Excellent food and great taste. People are very nice and well trained.

So lately I’ve been watching Bob’s Burgers almost nonstop (as background noise while I study), and I decided to find a little burger joint near home after seeing the characters rave about the burger.
I ordered the cheeseburger combo, and WOW! It’s been a while since I had a good burger and this place definitely puts everywhere in a five mile radius to shame. Plenty of meat, fresh crisp lettuce and tomato, melty cheese, soft bun. Delicious! And their fries, kind of chunky but very crisp and made to order.
I can’t wait to try their chili cheese fries. Definitely coming back again (and again and again)!

This is a real burger place. Big huge burgers. No nonsense. Fairly quick service but but busy. Obviously a locals favorite location. Way better than local chains.

Love this place for a delicious, simple and super affordable breakfast. For less than $ 5 you can get toast, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and a big hunk of hash brown. Sometimes the bacon is over crisp and I forget to tell them to take it easy on the crispness but the flavor is still good. You can call ahead and pick it up at the drive thru like I do.

The grilled chicken sandwich is good! Be careful when coming at lunch, this place gets busy. If you can call ahead for a big order.

Wow… great burgers and a even better Breakfast Burrito! Very friendly staff and clean eating area!

Good ol’ hometown burger place tucked away behind some stores.
Nothing really beats a traditional burger. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. Grilled beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese if you please.
I recommend a traditional cheeseburger, or the steak sandwich. Get an order or fries or onion rings to share, because they’re not stingy.
