I am so used to going to nail salons where the staff is difficult to communicate with and the wait times are unknown. It was a pleasure to make an appointment with Amberlee of Ambie Nails and have my time respected! She paid great attention to details and is an excellent conversationalist. Her prices are reasonable and she really has the health of her clients nails in mind. No more walk-​in nail salons for me!

Amberlee is a naturally gifted, new manicurist. Although she’s only recently liscenced, this makes her very careful to detail, and she’s in the know about latest styles and technology.
Not only is she creative and a talented at nail art, but she’s innovative and good at offering options stylistically. I have naturally very brittle nails and I have been wanting to try gel manicures for their durable qualities, but I don’t want color polish, as I’m not a Lady Gaga back up dancer. She suggested we lay a clear coat gel first, then a matte coat afterwards to give the durability of two gel coats, but the more male-​appropriate look of clear matte.
She uses all O*P*I products which is the best in my opinion.
She’s organized and clean.
She’s good at small talk and makes you feel comfortable; no matter how introverted or talkative you might be, she has a nack of letting conversation wax and wane naturally.
4 stars because the location is a bit out of my way, but 5 stars because it’s worth the drive.
