We have a group that comes from 150 miles away, have dealt with George for 2 years now, and definitely be back for 2016. He was very accommodating, was able too put a great package together for us, and all at a great price.

It pains me to write this review. The place offers a ton of options for Mardi Gras throws and it is competitively priced, but the service is as bad as it gets. This place refuses returns of any kind. This includes defective items they sold. They seem to make up prices as they go along and they take advantage when given an opportunity. I was overcharged for an item but did not notice it until after I paid for everything. I reviewed the receipt before exiting and noticed the charges were higher than what was advertised. When I returned to the cashier to discuss the charges, I was told that several items were in the wrong place so the prices were wrong as to the item I picked up from the area. When I returned to two areas to find stacks of similar items, I asked if it was really in the wrong place. I was told they were there due to space issues but cost more. I was offered the cheaper items. When I refused and requested a refund, I was told there are no refunds under any circumstances. This totally contradicted her offer to allow me to exchange for the cheaper items. When I pushed and noted the failure to disclose the return policy, inability to see the charges until you pay and the fact that I never left the store, I was pointed to the owner. The owner proceeded to tell me that they refund items for frequent customers and only if they ask nicely because they do not have to. He went on to tell me, he would give me a refund of the items that were higher than I expected, but he would deduct 5% because he pays a fee for all credit card charges. In turn, I called the local Jefferson Parish authorities to assist with the matter. When one of the workers overheard the call, they alerted the owner. The cashier called me over and said she was told not to refund me but she would do it any way because she understands what happened and felt bad. I walked outside and as I called dispatch to say the cops were no longer needed, several vehicles pulled up. I explained it was resolved but they wanted to know the details. They asked if I was satisfied with what was done. It was quite a first experience but an unfortunate one. If you buy something, ask pricing before you pay. Otherwise you will be stuck with it.
