The pizza was delicious! We had the veggie. We don’t do ‘shrooms and they sub’d ground beef, no problem. The in house beer was Awesome! They had a Strawberry Blonde beer made with real strawberries. My wife liked it and she doesn’t like beer! I enjoyed a really nice IPA. Even though the place was swamped on Friday night, we got to talk with the owners. We wish them all of the best, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I do work here but I will say I love our pizza I never get sick of it. The strawberry blonde is one of my favorite beers. I don’t even like root beer but I love our rowdy rascal root beer. Please come in and tell us what you think :)

Two nights in a row for dinner. Good prices. Good food. The root beer is delicious and so is the beer. Friendly staff.

We found this place on a adventurous day and were absolutely stoked we found it! When we walked in, the staff was prompt and welcoming. Tables were filled with people having great laughs and making wonderful memories.
Pizza was crisp and flavorful, garlic bread sticks hit he spot, and beer was absolutely delicious!
Surely, no one is perfect, so I say one thing they can improve on is their beer pour and have a good head on their tap beer.

This place is great! Love the atmosphere and their food is good. We had their house salad and pepperoni pizza with jalapeños. It was delicious. Oh and Great IPA!

Unless you’re local, pretty much ignored by staff. Sat at the bar and waited ten minutes to take our drink order. One tap dried out and we only got a partial pint at full price. Pizza was ok. Ran out of certain topping and pizza dough while we were there.

This place was so good! We ordered half bacon chicken ranch and half full tsunami and it was delicious! We started with the cheesy garlic bread, which was pretty good too. The beer selection was great and we tried several of the beers the brew. The staff was friendly and great — will definitely go back.

Small resturant /​pub with good pizza. They have 10 tables (each table can have 4 people at them) and a small bar with 5 stools. They have 2 big screen TVs. They have several brews on tap, plus if your a local they have a Growler Club.

This is a really nice place. I was alone, visiting for the weekend from Edmonds, WA, so I sat at the bar. The staff is incredibly friendly, the beer is awesome, and the pizza is delicious! They are definitely doing things right here. You need to come here.

Came from out of town for work and the first place that was recommended by locals was this place! The group I was with was not disappointed, everything that was ordered was yummy! I had the vegetarian tsunami and it was delicious.

Arrived at 5pm on a Saturday evening during Thanksgiving weekend. We just beat the crowd. The service was friendly, the pizza was delicious, drinks were great. We had the Blackbeard’s Signature and it’s a thin crust and crust was just right. My daughter had the home made root beer and it was deelish. Husband had the beer flight, also great.

Blackbeard’s isn’t a bad place but its also just not all that special. We tried the pizza and beer while there and found neither to be that impressive. I actually did the beer sampling menu and tried a bunch of their beer but just didn’t find anything that I was a fan of. Ended up just sticking to a coke instead! Not a great sign for a brewery, though I am sure they have selections that many other people will enjoy. The only food we tried was the pizza, which was okay but really any place can make this type of pizza. It just didn’t stand out and we’ve had better brewery pizza in Washington at places with a broader beer selection.
Recommend to get some options on tap for those of us who don’t like pilsner, ipa or hops. Maybe a good smooth brown ale or Porter. (Edit: I was informed that my review wasn’t clear by another Unilocaler… they had a Porter when I was there, it was just of the bitter variety not the smooth, many appreciate bitter Porter, just not me)
Note though, I’m sure their selection changes, so you may have better luck than I.

The owners are the nicest most down to Earth ppl you would meet. The food is good and the beer is too try the strawberry blonde it’s one of my faves. There working on an amber ale if your a fan of the Reds and ambers like me so I’m pretty stoked for when it hits next week or so! I would definitely recommend visiting Black Beards to anyone in the area what else are you going to do in Westport? Besides fishing.

If you don’t want seafood, this is one of the very few options for food near Westport and Grayland. The pizza was good: thin, crispy crust, generous toppings, and a spicy sauce. They have a good variety of meat and vegetable toppings for pizzas, and specialty varieties like a barbeque chicken and white pizza. Along with pizza they serve sandwiches, salads, and the typical garlic bread and fried cheese sticks. The garden salad we ordered was crisp and fresh, with a good variety of veggies and a homemade balsamic vinagrette dressing.
Our server was friendly and expedient. The space is small, but there are tables inside and outside if it’s busy. You might have to share a table – they are long and seat up to 8 people – if there’s much of a wait.
Two TVs with sports were on the wall, but the sound wasn’t up too loud. Two outside doors were open on the nice summer evening, with a gentle cross-​breeze blowing through the space and keeping it cool.
Prices were a little high, but it’s a tourist spot so that’s standard. $ 14.00 for a medium sized pizza, $ 6 for garlic cheese bread.
They brew their own beers, and sell flights of four for $ 5, which is a steal. Soda is canned, but they do house brew a rootbeer as well.
One hitch in the evening was they ran out of forks, so we started our dinner with three people and a single piece of silverware, but a quick round through the dishwasher later we had enough utensils for everyone.
Not great pizza, but not bad. Not fast, but not slow. Not expensive, but not budget. A friendly, local place that’s eager to please and a change from fish and chips. A place worth checking out.

We heard this was a brand new place so we decided to try it! The strawberry blonde was amazing. We were looking for some seafood so we didn’t order any pizza, which is all they have on the menu. But the waitress was really nice. I think once they get more variety, they will do awesome. It is a little small, so plan on an intimate setting!

I went there on the 2^nd night it was open. It only had 1 of their beers on tap (The IPA) but it was good. It seemed like the real place to be late in Westport. Which is awesome. It is nice to see a quiet town have a place to get a drink late. I suggest getting a beer and a pizza and have a great time!
I’m going around reviewing all the breweries in the state of Washington, so hopefully my review helps!

Super friendly and gave great service! Had a salad and a flight and even purchased a shirt!
