The food was delicious. We had a variety of different dishes via the combos(enchilada, taco, tostada, tamale, beans & rice) and everything was very flavorful. The staff was nice but not outgoing. We had two different people serving us, and they weren’t unfriendly, they just didn’t say much. I guess that’s better than rude service. I know Mexican food isn’t necessarily where people think of going when heading out to a coastal town, but considering the lack of restaurants in Westport(especially those with decent ratings on Unilocal).

This business is small and not flashy by appearance, but the food was very good and the service was also good. We hade the Carne Asada platter which we shared and a drink each. Given that this is a small community with limited fine dining options, surely this business will be very successful.

Good food, fair price — nothing really special — small town, no other Mexican restraints in the area.

I agree with others that Mexican food isn’t what you think of in Westport, but also like others the family isn’t big on seafood. On New Year’s Eve when other spots were closing down this joint came through. Good meal, generous portions and friendly staff.

I know Mexican food is not what you think about when visiting Westport, but since my wife is not a big seafood eater, we decided to give it a go. We took our order to go, because we did not want to leave our dog in the car. My wife had the Sopitos. I had one of the combination plates. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bag of chips and a cup of salsa included. The staff was very polite and friendly. Our order was prepared very quickly(five to ten minutes). The food was excellent.

This place has the best rice and beans! Service is prompt and the food was fresh. We have been coming to Westport for years to camp and always come here at least twice during our visits.

Very impressed with quality and flavor for being in a small fishing town. I had the combination plate and loved it. The rice and beans were fresh and flavorful. I came back the next day.

This is very close to the lighthouse and Westport-by-the-Sea condos. Came here with my family last week. We were the only customers the entire time. Service was alright. Chips and salsa were served promptly, and so were the glasses of water. Chips were a bit warm but didn’t taste very fresh and salsa quite spicy for kids. I got sopitos and my husband had enchiladas ranchero. The meat and corn tortillas were a little too salty and the chicken a little dry. The enchiladas were dry also and the cheese on top were Parmesan instead of Cotija, although I’m not sure if it’s due to the cheese being off-season. We also got nachos for the kids, which were topped with some ground beef, beans and cheese. Everything tasted just OK, not really fresh. Something you would eat just to fill your empty stomach and there’s really not a lot of options in Westport. We don’t intend to go back.

I gave it four stars for being in Westport. Food was good. Service was awesome. It’s off of the main road so we almost didn’t see this place. Really glad we did. Get the michelada. Tell him to make it how he likes it.
