I come here for the nuoc Mia. They have a good deal! Buy two get one free! But that’s all I really buy from here.

My husband bought some moon cakes from this place, and OMG it is by far the worst I’ve ever tasted… I am sorry to say this but my dogs were having problem chowing them down.

Buy 2 Nuoc Mia and get 1 free! You cannot go wrong with this deal! They have a whole bunch of pastries, desserts and even cooked food, although I’ve never tried anything but the nuoc Mia, everything else looks promising! Maybe one day!

I came here after my mother in law saw their ad on tv. I don’t speak vietnamese and it was pretty difficult to order. The Banh Mi was a little underwhelming.

This is actually a store owned by my mom’s childhood friend. An amazing story on how they reunited happened in this store. My mom and I went in to buy some food to go and the lady at the counter was ringing us up and she said to my mom«you look so familiar but I can’t remember where I would know you from» A few seconds later, they both realize that they were childhood friends from Vietnam. It’s a small small world! We come here every once in awhile to support the friend. We usually buy the annual mooncakes or the banh tieu(pastries) or food to go. I have never had a bad experience with this place! Prices are very reasonable compared to the other local bakeries and food to go places.

Hit or miss every single time with this location. Old chicken wings or newly fried ones today? Sugarcane with kumquat flavor or without today? You never know what you’re getting. The banh Tieu is always great though. More consistency, peeps.

I feel really bad for this review because they ladies here are so nice but this review is for their food. We ordered a couple sandwiches and it was so bad. We ended up throwing them away and made instant noodle. Their prepared food looked dry and unappetizing. Perhaps covered them to prevent drying? I actually felt gross after seeing all this and the bread follow suit.

Errrrrrr I mean I stop by here alot but I don’t get food to eat there… I used to grab a ca phe sua da(Vietnamese Ice Coffee) and I’ll get a bunch of Sugar Cane juices to go… The owner is pretty cool and nice and recognizes me… One time I saw Mold on some stuff in the refrigerated counter part… yucky !!! Other time I see them little gnats flying around too… UGH…Yucky… Now I just get the Sugar Cane Juices for the gals at the Salon and nothing for myself here cuz of what I saw! ha ha…

I think I secretly have a crush on the 70 year old lady behind the counter. Sssshh, don’t tell anyone! It’s a secret, even to me! I always come back here and I seriously have no idea why. The secret crush MUST explain it. The sandwiches semi-suck. The pre-packaged items here can be bought in the same plaza at T&K for less. The drinks are made from canned fruits(not fresh). And much better desserts are found in the che shop next door(literally). The Tay Ho and Quan Hy restaurants, in the same plaza, offer considerably better food. Jeez what DOES this place have going for it? Maybe I should slip my number between the Pâté and meatballs, hoping she’ll discover it one day…

This place blows. The owners are rude and the food looks like it’s been here since the 80s. Never come here.

— Locale destination — It’s in a Vietnamese shopping mall with a fancy«Chinese/Vietnamese» red gate. Once you get into the mall, on your left side. All the signs are hard to read and I don’t understand Vietnamese ;(The names are hard to pick up with a glance. Décor is nothing special. I feel like tripping — it doesn’t make me feel I’m in CA, which is cool to me ;) The lady doesn’t speak English well. I’m not so sure whether if they take a credit card or not… She was kinda scary and missed it ;(They call themselves«restaurant» but nothing like it. It’s more like a bakery. It’s packed with full of sweets, drinks and pastries. They also got sandwiches, too. Oh, do you know Chinese donuts(long, not round) that you eat with a rice soup for breakfast??? I forgot the name but my Taiwanese friend took me to the Chinese restaurant in the morning, and I still remember how yummy it was ;) They have them ;) — Gluttony expedition — Lychee boba: It’s very artificial sugary and milky flavor. Boba got so hard quickly unlike most boba places ;($ 3 and its size was huge. But I don’t like it ;( — Conqueror’s deduction — Boba was cheap but it wasn’t good. The lady was kinda scary and nothing(among tons) seemed appealing to me. At least I tried ;)

They have Vietnamese desserts and food to go here and it was whateves to me, nothing really stood out except for the fact that if you get two orders of desserts, the third one is free, which is good since it’s $ 1.50/small container. Not sure if I’ll be back since everything looked old and left out for days.

Wow, no one’s reviewed this place yet? It’s located in the same plaza as TK Market and right next to Banh Cuon Tay Ho 4. The interior is pretty cluttered, but it is both a bakery and a place where you can get food to go. You walk in and immediately in front of you is a counter of baked goods. To your right, you will find various types of cooked dishes like chicken, various veggies, etc. that they’ll scoop for you to go should you choose to order. This isn’t a sit-down place. The things in here didn’t look all that fresh to me, but I was impressed that they had this Chinese breakfast of fried bread and soymilk — I haven’t eaten that in sooo long and you can usually only find it at the really authentic Taiwanese places in San Gabriel Valley. I tried a baked bread with some custard filling and thought it was okay. The bread was soft, but there was nothing particularly special about it. The format of this place feels a bit dingy and makes food too unappetizing to try.
