The service here is always fast and they’re always happy to help you. I have always been a fan of subways so I just love everything here except for their tuna. I do miss having the 5 $ foot long but I think they do this thing now where they have a sub on sale on certain days so it’s not that bad anymore. I always get my buns toasted but if you don’t get it toasted then they can’t charge tax on your order FYI. As for vegetables I usually get everything because why not! It’s healthy for you and it’s free. Definitely give this place a try.

Wow. Just walked out of this Subway location because they did not like an older 20 dollar bill. I got it from the bank just 2 days ago. The kid at the counter asked if I had any other bills and I said no. The older lady looked at it and said sorry, the owner will be mad if we take a bill that the machine can’t check. Then the dude took the food off the counter. I was a little pissed to say the least. I walked over to Starbucks and told them to look at the bill and they said it was fine. I then walked back over to Subway and let them know I had change and would never give them any money after that BS. I told them the owner can look at my review and then decide if he wants people so pissed off at there experience inside his store to go balistic on Unilocal.I seldom write a review within 60 seconds of a restaurant. Today would be the first. Please consider checking the date of your cash before stopping at this location and understand they are likely to refuse your payment because the don’t like it, and then throw your food away. Absolutely amazing!

I have been going to the subway for several years as its very near my office. The service here is always exceptional, especially by Jose, the manager. I frequently purchase ahead of time on the subway app and quickly get my sandwich within seconds of arriving. The staff gets to know its customers by name and are always very friendly. I’ve seen the same friendly faces for many years, so the place must have a low turnover rate — which is a testament to be effective operation of this place. As far as location, I would suggest parking in the rear as it makes it easier to exit and turn south on Springdale should you so choose. Parking in the main lot requires a right turn only back on to the Westminster Springdale intersection.

Service was so much better this time around. Jose was our server. He did a great job. I ordered a Flatbread club with feta cheese and it was perfectly portioned. In addition to the portions, he heated it up just the right amount which is hard to do during a lunch rush. Being an ex subway employee myself, I always expect perfection. He has consistently delivered 5 star service to my fiancée and me. Nice, patient, clean, and fast service from my favorite subway employee in the area.

Happy to say that this Subway is still my favorite. Jose, the manager, is a great example that the night crew should closely follow I’ve really never had a bad experience hear, during the day, only after midnight

Light and White Ladies don’t go to this Subway when these two females are working there. This Subway’s employee’s discriminate according to skin color at least that’s what happened on 3÷13÷2014 around 9:10 — 9:16 pm by two latino females when I went to eat there. No «Welcome to Subway» greeting was told to me, but the greeting was merrily sung as the browner customers came in. For me it was silence. Note that I have fair skin color, blonde hair(though I have spanish background myself but you can’t tell) so It was clear I experienced discrimination as they tried to put me behind the other customers in line after me(again, who had brown skin as they did), who they warmly greeted and apologized to when I spoke up and would not put up with making me wait behind the later customers. They were trying to make me wait for my order by pretending to have a phone call(when the phone didn’t even ring) in the middle of making my order. Then the latino lady customer behind me got full and friendly service with a greeting and a smile from another employee who knew I was left standing there(and remember the other one that was supposed to get my order was on her pretend phone call). After being made to wait and wait I finally spoke up, so she finally came over and finished my order while apologizing NOT to me who had been waiting but to the lady behind me because she had to finish MY order! Don’t put up with this, report it if it happens to you esp. by female to female(jealousy). I was born in this Country and will not be treated as if I’m not welcome. SHAMEONSUBWAY for their racist«services» and also for not treating their light skinned customers the same as everyone else. I’ve also noticed that this Subway doesn’t a customer here. Can we all say DISCRIMINATION?! Oh and BTW please no one try to turn the race card over to me as I come from spanish/mexican decent myself. Also, I go to a pet store in the same area who has a latino gal that works there who is always warm and friendly to ALL people not just the ones who are of the same race as her.

A few concerns with this place. LOCATION: Tough to get to, only access is N/B Springdale south of Westminster Blvd. Next to freeway and only 1 driveway into the little strip mall. Very tiny subway with 3 booths and some bar seating along window. FOOD: Nothing special, skimpy on serving sizes, but fresh. SERVICE: The young asian male was very slow and the other girl working was serving twice amount of people all around him. She was nice. Weird how they keep trays and kids lunch bags in the back and have to get them for each customer. Nothing was well stocked: they needed more bags of apples, juice, and chips. We will go to another one in the area instead.

Just because the staff is friendly it got 3 stars. The place is nasty!!! If I owned this place I would not be happy! What can you say it’s subway. Next time I will go down the street to Paul’s Deli instead.

The staff is always very friendly and the food is fresh and yummy. I’m a big fan of subway and this location is by far my favorite! But can get really really crowded during lunch time. then again most fast food type places are crowded at that time.

Not a good experience. I like Subways, but it is just an average sandwich place. I hit this Subways because it was open 24⁄7. I was leaving work just after midnight, and I wanted something to eat other than fast food. In this case, I order a pizza sub. The sandwich had pepperonis on each side. I selected the Italian break and Provolone cheese. It was baked a little to melt the cheese. Marinara sauce was added to green peppers and onions. I then added some Italian herbs to finish it off. I was not crazy about this sandwich. The Marinara sauce was bland and the bread did not seem that fresh. Overall, the sandwich had a lot to be desired.

This is a regular lunch spot during the workweek and it’s not too bad. They just remodeled a few months ago and it gave it more space. It’s always stocked with all the veggies… compared to another one I’ve been to that was always missing something. Oh and they’re chocolate chip cookies are the bizomb!

Well, for a side note, I haven’t ate Subway sandwiches since I came out of the hospital in 2003, for a possible stomach surgery. Therefore, my relationship with Subway was sort of a love/hate relationship since then. Even with Jared, advocating the franchise to «eat fresh» and«lose absurd amounts of weight» there’s one thing that I couldn’t get over. I believe it was the fact that every time I got sick(hospitalization or not) my mom(or concerned friend or family member) would give me Subway. And I hated the associated conditioning considering, eating it after recuperating made me sick to my stomach and gave me a «gag reflex» each time. So its 2008, and my roommate(let’s call him Mr. Darkness, not just because he’s black but there’s much more to that), asked me to join him in his visit to the same franchise. I responded as the background story provided, «No thanks bro, that stuff makes me quite sickening.» However somehow he convinced me to think so otherwise, and off we went to the nearby location bordering Springdale Ave. off the 405 Hwy entrance. Going inside the place is clean, for a small shop and the employees were pretty sanitary in handling the food: We ordered the following: –1 Meatball Marinara –1 Flatbread Bacon and Tomatoes –6 cookies(3 chocolate chip and 3 peanut butter) Mr. Darkness enjoyed the meatball sub(at a special price for $ 5.00), it was meaty, filling, and hits the spot for some afternoon grub. As for my flatbread… it wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t filling at all. I was deceived(like any other picture at a fast food joint) at its size. The sandwich wasn’t stellar, even though it was baked and added all the side condiments(ranch, mayo, and mustard) with extra bacon, pickles, and lettuce and tomatoes. So what made this place get four stars? The price… it was cheap and for a college budget lunch not bad at all, the service was quite friendly(compared to many other local fast food places I’ve been to), and the factor that tip the scale… the cookies. Those things are baked crack(yeah I said it). Its a far reach but it can be possible that the distributor of these cookies are the same ones of McDonalds(could it be true?). Go figure, thanks for changing my mind Mr. Darkness now I have place to turn to, even though its not as «fresh» as they make it out to be. Give me Le Diplomat Café(in Irvine, Ca), and I’ll be just fine for the time being.
