Them samiches are very good. Iceed coffee is good and strong. Only reason not five stars is not too mich room for seating. Erwin E’s Unilocal reviews never disappoint.

The food is good. The owner doesn’t care about customers. Make sure you pay with cash because they double charge you and never want to refund your money back .I never come back there again after 10 years customer.

One of my favorite banh mi places! They have cucumbers in their sandwiches which is something that the Lee’s across the street doesn’t do. The typical things that I get are: banh mi dac biet(special combination), banh canh gio heo, and the pâté chaud. I love that they have both pork and chicken pâté chaud and it’s actually my favorite place to get them from. Recently I called in a phone order at 4:15 on a Sunday and they picked up and were willing to still take my order even though they close at 4pm! That earned them more points in my books.

I came here two times in the morning recently and it’s pretty busy. On my first time, I got their spring rolls(3 different kinds in a package) and that was really good — I would get these again, and their spring rolls aren’t even what they’re known for! We just got in line, took/paid for them at the counter, and left. On my second time, I ordered an egg sunny side up banh mi, since I heard their banh mis are good. There were only two people in front of me in line and probably another two parties sitting/waiting. But I ended up waiting for twenty minutes for my breakfast… there’s a viewing window where you can see them assemble the banh mi, so I watched them for twenty minutes making sandwiches for no one currently waiting for their order. Like wow. The banh mi itself was pretty good(It’s actually not sunny side up), but I learned that I shouldn’t come here if I wanted a banh mi on the go.

Quality was good. It just wasn’t what I expected based on the last time I went, which was some time last year. Price had definitely gone up. $ 4.23 for one sandwich, thanks to the 50 cent cc charge for purchases under $ 5. Bahn Mi Che Cali — you could get two more sandwiches for two dollars more! Ingredients, bread, meat all seemed fresh and good quality… but when did they start putting peanuts in the bbq pork? :O These were changes I did not dig. I’ll go to Che Cali next time.

Come here if you like to eat hard, crunchy banh mi. I thought Lee’s was bad until I discovered THH. My go-to spot is Banh Mi Che Cali, but I was in the area, so I figured why not. I ordered the banh mi cha with pâté and an egg. Probably one of the worst I’ve had in a minute. The meat consistency was non-existent. Eating the bread was like eating a biscotti. I’m not the type to waste food, but the roof of my mouth started getting cuts. Sandwich tasted real bland. Nothing special here. Service was good and the sandwiches came out in a timely manner. This was my first and last visit here.

REALLYGOODBANHMI! Definitely better than Lee’s. Their bread is so much better. It’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s also much bigger. They put mayo and either soy sauce or Maggie seasoning in their Banh MI. It’s sooo good! You can see them make it at their lil sandwich station, which I thought was pretty awesome. I had the -#6PORKPATEBANHMI. Slices of Pork Pâté with picked shredded daikon raddish, carrots, cilantro and jalapeño. It’s so simple yet so delicious! –AVOCADOSMOOTHIE with Boba — It’s perfect! Super creamy and yummy. I just wished they put more boba. They also have rice dishes, soups, baked goods and other Vietnamese food that I can’t pronounce. Next time, I wanna try their Summer Rolls and other dishes. My only complaint is that they need to wipe and clean the tables. There were food crumbs all over their tables O_o. I’ll be back!

This place was found randomly while I was driving up the 405north fwy. Swung by and ordered 6 Sandwiches to-go! :) Got 2 number 1, 2 number 5, 2 bbq meats w/pâté. All of them are good! Best to get the veggies on the side. :) Staff do not speak English well, but they try to understand as much as possible.

Tan Hoang Huong aka THH is a bit pricier than the other Bamn Mi joints, but it’s well worth it and still cheap! The Bread = Better The Meat = Better The Store = Cleaner THH is known for their Vietnamese Sandwich, but they also serve soup, noodles, rice, and a variety of party trays. Oh, and Vietnamese Coffee!!! I really enjoyed their sandwiches and they were still tasty the next 2 days. Seating is available inside and credit card is accepted. Overall, a step above the other, so stop by if you’re craving a sandwich. Free parking in their lot.

This is THESPOT for banh mi!!! I was introduced to this place about a year ago, and I frequent it quite often for a quick bite! My favorite banh mi include: cha lua(cured/processed ham) and thit nuong heo(bbq pork) – flavored with lemon grass. You cannot go wrong with any of these options! The menu is quite extensive, there will be something for everyone! My bf reallllly likes the avocado shake with boba! Viet people just know how to make an avocado delicious! I do wish there was MORE avocado flavor in it! I have gotten their banh mi xiu mai(meat ball), and that was just okay for me. It was more bland for me. The sauce that oozes out looks like sweet and sour sauce but it surely does not taste that way. I think if they added pâté to the bank mi, it would’ve made the sandwich much better! If you had to choose just one things form here– get the banh mi thit nuong! BOOOOMB!!! AND add the pâté to it!!! Everything mixes so good in that sandwich along with the oil, lemongrass flavor, and peanuts! YUM! Prompt service!!!

I’ve come here for banh mi every now and then, but not sure why it took me awhile to add this to my list of favorite banh mi joints. Probably because I’d been a slave to all the Banh Mi Che Cali’s for slinging their banh mi’s at 3 for $ 6. Anyway! I’ve come here enough times with friends or to pick up dinner to know that their food is legit! Banh mi’s, eggroll party trays, and banh cuon party trays are the ! This past Sunday is the busiest that I’ve ever seen, so I know I’m definitely at the right place for authentic Vietnamese food. I want to come back for some bun rieu and other Vietnamese noodle dishes.

It sure felt like they were closed when we walked in here at 6PM before a movie event at the Regency theater across the street. Tables and chairs were dirty, no food was on display except for a few pre-packed cold items, and when we attempted to order some hot items, we were told to just choose from the ones sitting out and they will microwave it for us. Uhm. no thanks. I got the BANHMI #4($ 4.20) with bbq pork, pâté, and I added fried egg for an extra $ 1. Glad the egg was made to order and was warm. The bread was beautifully crisp that the crunch it made was music to my ears bite after bite. I was hoping for more pâté or some other ingredient to cut the dryness of the entire sandwich. It was missing some sort of juicy factor and it didn’t help when I forgot to order a drink to begin with. My friend fell in line again to get drinks but that took forever to be ready. He said no boba but my JASMINEPASSIONFRUITTEA came with popping boba nonetheless. I’m not a fan of those suckers so picture me trying so hard not to suck any of those through my straw. Unpleasant. To state the obvious, the communication barrier can be a challenge here so make sure you state your orders slowly but surely. Credit card is accepted with .50 cents charge for purchases less than $ 5. It’s not all bad because their pork and shrimp spring rolls aka GOICUON($ 3.75) were delicious. Though pre-packed, the ingredients seemed fresh enough and it came with three rolls. My total bill came out to around $ 8(sans the drink)…for two people! I’ll have to give it to them for being dirt cheap.

This is why I love Unilocal!!!I find all the great gems and hole in the walls of great eateries. Was in Westminster for work and was craving Vietnamese. Yes, there is a Vietnamese place at every corner but I still want to make sure I follow my fellow Unilocalers. I love this place, this is definitely a «to go» restaurant. Everything came in «to go» containers. I got the following: Iced coffee with milk — Yummy!!! It definitely kept me up driving the 70 miles home. Pork Ball Rice Noodle Soup — So flavorful, the veggies, noodles, soup/meat was all in separate containers. I have to remember that I can’t put all the veggies and noodles in the soup containers at once or it will overflow. BBQ Pork and Pâté sandwich — so good!!! filled with lots of meat, pâté and veggies. 4 stars due to the dirty tables and floor, but otherwise will go back in a heartbeat!

This place is amazing. Think Lee’s but 10x better. It’s located in a strip mall right across the street from where CMYE Edwards Westminster is hosted so it makes a perfect pre-movie dinner. The menu is posted so just pick what you want and tell the lady. Make sure you use your numbers and make doubly sure you’re ordering number 4(or whatever number it is) and not 4 of whatever she thinks you’re ordering since none of them seem to speak much English. Don’t forget to add fried egg! They take card(including Amex) which is amazing! I love the House special which included cold cuts and pâté but BBQ pork is always a classic.

Rating: 3.5 for now Fellow Unilocalers Annee T and Derrick D. brought me to this place before the CMYE Furious 7 movie night. Pros: — Quality of the banh mi sandwich is astronomical better than most of the ones in the 626SGV area. ie: Lees Sandwiches, Saigon Sandwiches, and Banh mi che cali, but I think its similar to Tip Top Sandwiches. #1 house special sandwich which included cold cut meat and pâté was really good. Loved the crunch with every bite I took. — Cashier/Sandwich maker: She was very friendly and attentive. Food came out pretty fast. Cons: — I guess when quality goes up, pricing goes up also. — Some of the tables weren’t cleaned off when we came. Due to the time crunch, we ended up sitting at the dirty table with bread crumbs and someone’s newspaper that was left behind. We proceeded to eat what we can before the movie. Conclussion: I would probably come back when I’m in the area.

I really would like to give this place 4 stars, Teetering on 3 or 4 stars… but since its dirt cheap, pretty tasty, made fresh and a relatively clean place, I’ll bump it to 4 stars… but really its like 3.5, and here’s why: If you’re looking for«fast» food, this place isn’t that fast. Its located in a tiny strip mall behind a Pizza Hut and Popeye’s and your food is made to order, and in the order received. I was attending a Unilocal movie event across the street, and saw that I had 45 minutes before check in. Surely this place won’t take that long to get a quick bite, will it? Well I walked in about 5:50, ordered my Vietnamese vermicelli noodles, and didn’t get my food until 6:15. Some of you reading will say«Why didn’t you get the sandwich?» Apparently getting a bahn mi took time to wait as well. Fellow Unilocalers that I met while waiting said they’re not the quickest place in town, but their food is good. The Bun I ordered was dirt cheap. $ 5.00(tax included) and I got a generous portion of the noodles, topped with 2 or 3 ounces of pork, 2 piping hot egg rolls, a cup of fish sauce, a sprinkle of crushed peanuts, and a small handful of picked vegetables and what I think was lettuce. I normally like more vegetables with my bun, but for $ 5.00 it was pretty decent. I wish they were just a tad faster, as I wolfed down my food in 15 minutes.

Honestly, not the best Vietnamese food out there… but if you’re looking for a «fast food» style Vietnamese place, THH fits the bill! Large portions for cheap prices. $ 10 here will go a long ways! You can get an extra large banh mi(the WHOLE baguette!) for about $ 7-$ 8. Man I can buy this thing, portion it up and eat it all day! Prepackaged meals(banh cuon, com plates, etc.) are all tasty and cheap. It’s cheap, tasty and does the trick! Definitely better then Lee’s in my eyes.
