Great seasoning on their seafoods, place is normally not too busy as I guess it’s kind of hidden. Service is okay, sometimes can come off as rude but I would still go again

Food not as comparable as the other luisiana style seafood places offered nearby. Sort of unflavorful for my taste, but here are some quick pros and cons:
Pros: they have specials depending on the weekday, for example: $ 1 oysters on. tuesday? And so on. Cute small restaurant. They offer pretty decent vietnamese entrees like bun rieu. Oysters taste pretty good, not too fishy.
Cons: Taste was just not as good and unflavorful for my taste, the sauce that they cook the seafood in was quite watery, servers were all pretty young the 2 times I was here and you can kind of tell they were inexperienced.
Overall, I just go here for the happy hour oysters, since I’m such a huge oyster fan, but that’s about it.

Amazing restaurant. We came here for the Tuesday $ 1 oyster night and was pleasantly blown away by the food. Recommending this place to all my friends and family. The spices in the crab boil are wonderful. Really like the staff, and the owner happened to be there the night we went too. He’s a famous singer. They make you feel very welcome at this restaurant. Almost didn’t want to Unilocal review it cause I was afraid it would get crowded but they definitely deserve some high marks on the freshness of their seafood and great atmosphere. Well done. We will be back tomorrow night with family. Happy Eats!

This has got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. Came in this afternoon around 1pm and my friend & I were literally the only customers in the restaurant. Our server not only forgot part of my order but NOT ONCE checked up on us. I honestly would’ve given her a break if there were other customers in the restaurant since she was the only server at the time but like I said, my friend and I were the only customers there. She’d either be standing behind the counter or sitting at the booth in the corner eating. We had to yell out «excuse me» every time we needed something. That’s just sad. For a restaurant that has good food they really need to pick better workers because after this experience I probably won’t be returning.

First of all they opened 45 minutes late for Friday lunch. Half of my shrimp had a funky taste. The snow crab shell was soft. When we got the bill the waitress said our diet cokes were free for waiting. SERIOUSLY, $ 3 off a $ 50 bill for waiting 45 minutes is going to make it right?
We drove 45 minutes out of the way to try this place because of the Unilocal ratings. This wasn’t my experience.

I woke up one day with some serious crawfish cravings. It was about 10:30 am when I was calling around town to see which spots were open for lunch. I was in luck, Red Crab!
My sister and I arrived at noon ready to feast!
It was a Wednesday and the special was buy 4 pound, get 1 free.
We ordered 5 pounds of crawfish, red crab flavor, mild spice. and cajun garlic waffle fries
The crawfish: When our 5 pounds of crawfish came out, I noticed that the sauce was very minimal. It did not even cover half of the crawfish. The sauce was not as thick as most places. My sister and I couldn’t really taste the sauce at first so we tossed the bag a couple of times to get the flavors even. When we got half way through the bag, the flavors finally settled in and mannnnn it was pretty good. Next time I will definitely ask them to separate them in two different bags. Our crawfish also came with corn and smoked sausage.
Cajun Garlic Waffle Fries: BEST WAFFLE FRIES I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Deep fried to perfection, so so so much garlic &onions and the flavors were so freaking on point! Everything that I had known about waffle fries is now irrelevant after this experience. I will return for you, godly waffle fries.
Red Crab is a solid 4 stars in my opinion. TRY THEIR WAFFLE FRIES!

I go here almost every Tuesday for the $ 1 oysters, which always satisfy my craving for oysters that seems to come up so often. If I’m feeling hungry, I order the King Squid and some Cajun Fries. Everything I order here tastes exceptionally well. The place deserves some recognition as a great hand-​seafood restaurant with flavors that compete with Boiling Crab and Kickin Crab.
Pros:
— Friendly and fast customer service
— Ambiance makes you feel like your underwater! haha
— Great weekly specials such as the $ 1 oysters on Tuesdays
— Food is very flavorful
— A good place to bring your friends to hang, drink, and eat

The Bo Né is to die for! Great workers & awesome service here. It usually gets packed around night time but during the day its not crazy. They also open earlier than most crawfish place. The management is awesome & the workers are super nice especially Leslie & Thanh!

This review is solely based on their oysters.
My friend recommended that we get oysters here because they have a $ 1 oyster Tuesday every week. Oysters for $ 1?! I’m down. I was surprised to see that the oysters were of pretty good quality. Similar to the ones you would get at places like Boiling Crab, this deal is a steal!
The restaurant itself is tucked in below the Seafood Cove and is comparable to Boiling Crab where you can get bags of seafood boiled in spices.

Lucky I scroll through some of the pictures and found out they have $ 1 oyster on Tuesday!!! Lucky me :)
I came around 1:30pm and surprisingly there was a good amount of tables for the time. Maybe because they also have other food beside seafood such as (bun bo hue, phở, Etc)
They’re opened at 10am. Anyway, I came with 3 other people and we bought combo 1 and an extra pound of Crawfish.
Combo 1 (mix and match seafood) include 2 corn and 4 sausage.
–2 pound shrimp and 1 Crawfish red crab sauce med. I liked the flavor of the sauce because it was more sweet. I’m not a fan of salty like boiling crab. I just wished it was more thick. Also med was not spicy for us at all. (I can barely handle spicy, thats how not spicy it was) So I will probably get spicy next time.
–1 pound Crawfish lemonpepper med. Again good flavor but wish it was more thick and have some sort of spicy to it.
Oh yea almost forgot to mention, the Crawfish are HUGE compare to other places! = more meat less work ahah. However, the shrimp are smaller than other places and I didn’t like how fast the skin got hard to peel.
With the combo we ordered the shoe cross fries for $ 2.99. Yum yum yum. Love the fries here! I also got 6 oysters. The oyster they had was more on a salty taste side but overall still good.
Service was OK. The bill came out $ 60. I will probably be back here again on a Tuesday: D

This place is like… wow! We love the service. love the food… love the atmosphere! I can’t stop raving about this place.

The food was good but wow was it more expensive than I thought. I used to come here when it was formerly known as «rocking crawfish» and usually spend around 65 dollars for way more food than I ordered.
The service was good. The servers are attentive and quick.
The food was decent but not as good as the prior business but maybe it was just because it wasn’t what I expecting flavor wise.
The pricing, well it was definitely more than expected as I mentioned earlier. My girlfriend and I ordered 4 lbs of shrimp, fries and 2 lbs of clams. Usually this would turn out to be about $ 65 but this time around, the ending bill was closer to 120 dollars. The clams were $ 20 PER POUND. Where as before, the clams were only going for $ 8.99 per pound. That, in my opinion, was extremely over priced. I’ve ordered king crab legs for around the same price per pound at other places. So this was very shocking to me.
Because of the price, I’m giving this place 2 stars. They need to rethink those prices over because that was insane spending double the amount expected for less food than before.
If you have the cash, then go here. If you’re looking for a cheaper date place, I’d really recommend going somewhere else. Not bashing on the new business but they need to check those prices.

I really like the service here. KEN is the best! Very nice and awesome! The last time I was here it was quite long ago but he still remember me and my fam.
The seafood here are always fresh and the waiting isn’t long. Love the drinks as well. I normally try to avoid lemonade but the strawberry lemonade here is very good. I finished it. Thanks to Unilocal’s check-​in. I got the opportunity to try it.
The other foods are yummy as well.

The two stars are really for the empty restaurant. We were hungry coming from a long day at Disneyland with my daughter and mom and didn’t feel like waiting at Boiling Crab.
The staff looked like they didn’t give a care I the world about their customers.
We ordered our food. I ordered the baked mussels and on the picture it looked like mussels with cheese on top baked. When it arrived it was just the mussel with peanuts on top. They never told me there were peanuts in it. I mentioned it to the waitress and she offered to have them re-​do it. My table was done eating and still no mussels.
I went up to waitress and told her that if it wasn’t out yet, to just cancel it bc my party was done eating. The waitress then said «Oh it’s out already» but I guess she forgot to bring it to our table?
What’s more appalling was that one of the other waitresses was like «do you wanna eat it?» To her coworkers while I was standing right there. They all decided they wanted to eat it and proceeded to tell me «It’s fine we’ll cancel it for you» and then proceeded to eat it right in front of me.
Appalling!

Crawfish day rát va ăn không cay quá, mn, hoc nhiu b và cht béo nh nhng ch khác Mà bây gio còn có món Bò né này trên menu thì qua tuyt. Tht bò Filet rt mm … Nâu va chín medium Rare, Sauce va creamy, thm mùi Patê và hành Tây. Rt va ming khi ăn cùng vi salad du dm va bánh mì nng va mi ra lò. Had a huge craving for sizzling plate of pâté filet mignon, cooked to perfection, medium rare, along side of sunny side egg smothered with pâté creamy sauce. paired this with house salad & French crispy baguette is a match made in heaven! Can’t wait to come back to try other dishes available for lunch. + crawfish red crab style and fresh oysters!

Red Crab was the
way way way better than Boiling Crab! The seasoning is way better, the staff is always friendly, prices are awesome for the amount and freshness you get! You gotta try this place out! Worth every penny!

I think I have been to 4 new crawfish spots within the past few weeks. Why are there so many new ones?
The deal is buy 2lb of crawfish (and only crawfish) and get 1 free. Unfortunately I don’t eat crawfish. I ordered the shrimp. It was pretty decent and I liked that the sauce was thick and not oily. The garlic fries were pretty decent too if you need to load up on carbs.
We also found out that the crawfish was not fresh. Apparently they were in season the previous week (September) but they are not anymore (October) but they will be back in season next month (November). I suppose the crawfish just decided to hibernate or take a vacation this month.
Overall I wouldn’t mind coming back, but I would still rather go to Kickin’ Crab.
