Egg roll was really greasy. Donut holes-pretty good. Regular chocolate donut didn’t have glaze on the bottom half, which I prefer. Croissants were good and really buttery. They sell premade sandwiches which don’t look very fresh. They sell lottery tickets and scratchers, cup a noodles, candy, drinks, etc.

Excellent place to grab your morning coffee and your donut fix. Try the cream cheese muffins! Prices are pretty reasonable. It’s open 24 hours a day and the staff always greets you with warm hello.

Nothing amazing, but nothing terribly offensive, either. Two crullers and a fritter for 2.85. Quite acceptable pricing. The fritters have more cinnamon than most(not overpowering or anything), along with definite apple chunks and flavor. The filling is bread, not just apple mush, as some stores do it. That said, they’re not particularly large, which might explain the price.

I’m assuming the owner is the one who told us this but we sit down for one minute and the lady asks us are you buying something, and we said we were looking at what we want to order. Then she asks«are you waiting for someone?» We say no and she stares at us rudely. And says are you going to buy something? ONCEAGAIN. After being spoken to rudely I decided not to buy anything. She makes people feel extremely unwelcomed and unwanted. First time and last time I’m coming here for sure!

I’ve been going here since I was younger. It was always a nice treat to go early in the morning before school whenever I had a test day — my dad would get me a jelly donut and then the lady would throw in extra donut holes for free. When it comes to donuts, I usually just order the jelly donut or the glazed — I haven’t personally gone in a while. I just tell my parents to stop by on their way home to pick me up something, but their blueberry muffins are a MUSTTRY. It’s honestly the best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had. I liked it a lot as a kid and recently got one the other day, and it’s STILL good. The muffin top is a perfect balance of crunchy/soft yumminess and the blueberries are gooey. I actually might get one tomorrow because writing this review makes me miss it so much.

This is a friendly mom and pop donut shop conveniently located next to the 405. It’s on the In n Out Burger side of the street if you’re coming down on Westminster Blvd. The older female is always friendly when I come in — she always throws in a few extra donut holes no charge whenever I buy my donuts here. Both the glazed donuts and custard-filled chocolate donuts are my favorite items to pick up here. There are multiple drink options and they offer other pastries as well. They are open 24 hours, but if you come in the morning, you’re bound to get fresh donuts considering the traffic they get. There is ample seating inside the shop and ample parking in the private lot — since half the other businesses aren’t open in the morning. This location also sells lottery tickets and has a wall of winners. Cash only, but if you’re a member of a credit union, the 7 – 11 across the street has a CO-OP affiliated ATM machine(Credit Union members withdraw cash free).

Doughnuts are always great. But service late night could be a bit more friendly. Felt unwanted a bit

I don’t come here too often, but every time I have the donuts have been tasty! I tend to get the dozen donut holes for a dollar. Can’t beat it! **This is a cash only spot**

I don’t want to admit how often I patronized this doughnut shop when I lived in the apartment across the street. Rainbow Donuts is your standard mom and pop shop, except that they’re open 24 hours. Which is amazing when you’re craving some glazed, fried goodness at 1am. They have a fairly standard assortment of doughnuts and other goodies, including their own take on the ever popular blueberry cake doughnut(I personally find it a little too soft and oily tasting). They have French Crullers here, but they can be hit or miss. If you catch them after they’re just freshly fried, it’s like eating mouthfuls of oil because the choux batter soaks it up like a paper towel. It’s delicious when it’s had time for the oil to drain a bit. My favorite thing to get here are the doughnut holes, actually. For an even $ 1, you get a paper bag of a dozen. The doughnut holes themselves aren’t uniform but they’re the largest I’ve seen anywhere. I’m actually disappointed by doughnut holes at other shops now, simply because I get so much more at Rainbow. The glaze coverage can be spotty sometimes, though, leaving upwards to 2⁄3 of a piece bare. The ham and cheese croissant is cheap and large. There’s not much ham at all baked inside the large, oval croissant, but there’s plenty of creamy cheese to go around. A nice quick lunch on a budget. Rainbow is a pretty decent and very conveniently located place to satisfy your doughnut cravings, but the consistency can vary pretty wildly from visit to visit.

They have the blueberry donut but no red velvet donut like the donuttery. Still, this place is right near the freeway and easy to get to(from the mall and freeway). $ 7 for a dozen and the staff seemed to be very happy with the donuts.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have more/better reviews — It’s always packed whenever I stop by in the mornings. Same management as the Rainbow Donuts down the street, and the donuts are just as good! Probably one of the larger donut shops I’ve been to, definitely with the most variety and selection. — Blueberry donuts are amazingly sweet, delicious, and fluffy — my parents are in love with them — Pretty cool«wall of winners» for scratchers. It was heaven for me when my $ 50 winner was posted up there. My next dream is to have a $ 100 winner to go along with it. — Fresh croissants throughout the day — plain, ham and cheese, jalapeño h&c, strawberry… maybe more — Killer ham and cheese sandwiches(coming from a guy who doesn’t even like ham! — yea, they’re that good) — Dozen donut holes for only $ 1(my girlfriend is always extra nice to the servers behind the counter, and they always pop in a few extra holes for free!) — I heard a customer raving about how amazing the egg rolls are — she bought a dozen and a half of them to «stock up» in her freezer. Haven’t tried them yet, I heard they’re spicy… In short, I love this mom-and-pop establishment. They love their customers, and I always hear Susie behind the counter chatting with them(sometimes even in Spanish!) A lot of regulars — I think that says a lot about an establishment.

Growing up in Westminster, there are about 100 donut shops within walking distance of anywhere you live. Haha, well maybe not 100, but they’re pretty much everywhere just like a Starbucks or a gas station. You can never run out of coffee or gas when driving through OC, cuz they’re on every street corner, sometimes even next to each other. :P I’ve been to this donut shop a few times while heading to the mall, driving down Edwards. Here are the perks to this spot: 1. They’re open 24 hours. 2. They have a huge selection of donuts. My faves back then were the maple bars, old-fashioned and sprinkled. 3. They make BLUEBERRY donuts here. Now, I have yet to try the infamous M&M’s blueberry donut in Anaheim, but the SBBF decided to pick us up some donuts one morning when we were visiting my mom in Westminster and he came across blueberry donuts. Since, these pretty much don’t exist in the Bay, he figured why not give it a try? My first blueberry donut… and I’m in LOVE! I’d definitely swing by this shop more often now if I’m visiting my mom’s throughout the year.

I got my $ 161 Lottery winner from this location. Not bad for a $ 2 investment. Same owner as other Rainbow Donuts, previously reviewed. Lots of good private parking.
