Best donuts! They are soft, light, and just the right texture! Ladies that work there are always friendly!

The service here at night really sucks. The little 4N Asian fellow walked past me 3 times without saying Hello or taking my order. Do I have to sacrifice a chicken or drink some cow blood to be accepted and served here? Also notice some«Shady» things Goin down in the front of this place at night. Ghetto, tweaker infested area. Be careful !

Donuts wasn’t very tasty and average. Although I did get there at 3pm and maybe thats why it wasnt fresh. I got a chocolate bar and an apple fritter. Both items came to a total of $ 2.70. Maybe I’ll try again in the morning when donuts are usually made fresh. It is a convenient location right at the corner of Westminster and Springdale.

I love sugar, but the icing and filling for these donuts was over-the-top sweet. The crullers didn’t have that distinct cruller taste, and the fritters had a very mushy filling, almost like there wasn’t any bread inside, or like the bread liquified in the apple mush. The prices aren’t terribly high or low. Some of the donuts are larger than average. Probably won’t be back, and wouldn’t recommend it. But it wasn’t the worst donut place in the world.

Soooooo good. Went in the middle of the morning, and the donuts were still fresh. He lady was super sweet, glad to have a «regular» donut shop to go to for my sugar fix.

Donuts are not very good, or perhaps I’ve just been spoiled with all the new places I’ve been trying. Seemed old, dry, I can’t even describe the taste, it was just bad. I wish Heidi’s was open later, I would’ve driven the extra mile or two for them. Cheap like most hole in the wall places, but the quality reflects. The lady behind the counter was very rushed… although it was just me ordering at the moment, the other two people in the shop had already gotten their food and coffee and were chatting by the door. The way she was rushing me and only half listening made it seem like there were tons of people waiting in line. I ended up taking two bites of the two donuts I got and then throwing them away. I love donuts and sweets, I’m not typically one to waste, but these were just in-editable.

1.5 stars. Came in here with my sister one evening after getting a massage next door… The sweet looking old woman working here tricked us into getting a dozen donuts for $ 8, which is the biggest rip. We paid her in all $ 1 bills and she scammed us another dollar or two. We were too relaxed to even notice. We intentionally came in to buy 2 donuts(one for me, one for her) but ended up with 12. SMH. Donut selection was very limited. The donuts tasted super old and dry. I just remember spitting that blueberry donut out and my cruller being stale as hell. PS. It’s dirty inside. Not. Coming. Back.

It’s hard to believe no one has mentioned their AMAZING ham and cheese croissants yet! They’re extra flaky and buttery, which makes them quite an indulgence, but unbelievably delicious! Unfortunately, they skimp out quite a bit on the ham, but the cheesy part is baked right into the enormous croissant… mmmm! As for the donuts, they’re just aiiight. The muffins are actually pretty gross — they’re super hard, crusty, and taste like they’ve been sitting out for days. Stick with the ham & cheese croissants! :)

Good apple fritter. Have them heat it up for you. Good option if you are in the area, nothing more.

Great donuts, superb selection but a little too much vanilla for my taste. As my 40th donut review I was excited to get outside of my usual radius of shops and head up to Westminster. I was not disappointed; close to the freeway, great selection, quality donuts and friendly owners. Of course I had the apple fritter, it was well crisped, dense, filled with small apple chunks and veins of cinnamon. But my taste buds said, «too much vanilla, your taking away from the apple-goodness.» I also enjoyed an old fashioned buttermilk, again a good donut but the vanilla taste was strong, not my preference. Lastly I shared the Tiger-Tail, it was pretty good, fluffy with hints of cinnamon and not too much vanilla. All and all, I’d go back again but I can’t say they were my favorite.

Mmmmm… Blueberry doughnuts… I was channeling my inner Homer and grabbed a b’berry d’nut from the Death Star, I mean, Donut Storr. Why’d they spell it like that? Prices are about 80 cents per donut, and they have ½ dozen and dozen boxes as well. Not too much else to say, except to make that gurgly noise Homer makes after he references a donut.

Stopped in on my way to school last Monday, the ladies were very cheerful and friendly! The donuts were the most moist donut I think I’ve ever had in my life! They fell apart as I ate them, which normally would be a negative, but they were so tasty and fresh! I may just have to stop here every Monday on my way to class now! Watch out waist line, here comes Donut Storr :)

Yum Yum Donuts! I came here in the morning to get some donuts for my family. I did not want as much as a dozen, but they did not offer a half a dozen price. I had to order individually, which kinda annoyed me. I got the coconut, maple bar, original glazed, and 12 donut holes. I liked the donut holes because they were fairly large donut holes. The coconut was also good. The maple and glazed was whatever. The maple bar did not taste like maple. It had no maple taste. It also came right out of the oven but was cold. My total was around $ 5 for my 4 items. It’s cash only here. Their donuts are fairly large. Although this is not my preferable donut store, I will come back since it is okay and its the nearest one. If you are on a donut run and want more varieties, specialties, and something that will satisfy your donut craving, I recommend donuttery on beach in Huntington Beach.

Donut Storr is a longtime favorite donut shop for those occasional early morning family breakfasts – we’ve been getting donuts here once a month for about 10 years. Our favorites are the custard filled bars, bearclaws, old fashioneds, apple fritters and plain old chocolate donuts. They also serve kona coffee, yay! These donuts keep very well for a couple of days and they are competitively priced; they’re the best donuts in the city IMO. Still, I would only give this place 4 stars because compared to Krispy Kreme they are a close second and DS is located in a dumpy strip mall; but the lady behind the counter is so charming and sweet that she makes Donut Storr a five star establishment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This is the forth of fifth donut shop I’ve been to in the past couple of weeks. Now that’s saying something because I am normally not a donut person. However with a couple of early mornings out, I’ve needed a little something in my belly and frankly I’m not really interested in most fast food places. My go to donut is usually an old fashioned donut. I think it’s because I like to take the time to pull it apart and eat it a piece at a time. I skipped them this time around. I had a buttermilk donut at another place and I had the taste for one of those and something with maple and so I got a maple French cruller. The buttermilk donut was just what I was looking for that morning. It seemed sweeter than the one I had about a week before. I liked that. The cruller was nice and soft and it too was delicious. I think I’ve found my new favorite donuts for the time being. I may try others, but I will get at least one of those when I go to a donut shop. I used to do my laundry on a weekly basis at the place two doors down and you get to notice the locals. Those who hang outside the place almost every day. I didn’t see any of them(one guy in particular) the day I went there. But I guess we all have our places we like to hang out at. Oh warning. It’s a dreaded CASHONLY place. But no worries. They have an ATM inside the store and thankfully it only costs $ 1.50 for a transaction fee. Which you don’t find that often these days. I’m used to paying double that. Not much else to say. It’s a pretty decent donut shop.
