El Serranito Carniceria

It is definitely the best and fresh carne asana meat in town! My bf and I used to go to Vallarta by Anaheim on Lincoln but it was too far and the meat was not that good, it was very salty and not tasty. Their carne asada meat is very TASTY! We have also tried the Al Pastor meat and they were great also for making tacos!
The cashiers are also friendly and helpful. This little carniceria is a gem for taco lovers! So stop going to restaurants to get good tacos! So if your hungry coming from the beach in HB, after crazy workload, have a fiesta to celebrate or just a simple fiesta by yourself lol. Get to this carniceria by Newland and Westminster order any carne you want and make THE MOST AMAZING tacos you have eaten that day! (since I bet you have not eaten anything gourmet that day) Don’t settle for burgers and such, don’t settle for anything less! You deserve to make yourself some GODDAMN gourmet tacos!

The best Carne Asada I can find around and it ain’t easy to get there from Huntington Beach. I went to another place that shall remain nameless and was closer to HB, but the marinade just wasn’t correct. When I buy this meat, and BBQ it back at the beach, everyone loves it. Also I let the meat sit in my fridge for like 4 days and call me crazy, but when I cook it after 4 days in the fridge, it seems tastier and more tender.

With the closure of La Bodega ranch market I’ve had a hard time finding a butcher that has good carne asada. With that said, I picked up 2 lbs of carne asada from this place and wasn’t disappointed. The meat was lean and tender and came up to about $ 5.99 a pound. It wasn’t La Bodega good, but it came in as a close second. I absolutely recommend their carne asada and would be happy to eat it again. If I’d never had the carne asada at Bodega, I would have given this place 5 stars.

Ive been coming to this place for years now and its always been crowded even though the store is really small, the only good reason to come here is their «carne ranchera» which is great for BBQs. but good luck trying to find a parking spot because their private lot is always full.
