Century Republic Insurance Service

I should’ve used Unilocal before coming here. My insurance for my small company was $ 500 and we came to renew it and he told us the insurance company doesn’t cover for the type of business we’re in anymore. He recommended us to another insurance which the lowest premium is $ 850, saying that’s the going rate everywhere right now. The whole consultation consisted of him aggressively scaring me and my dad with different scenarios of lawsuits.
After us saying that we’re gonna go have lunch next door to think it over, he said to give him our car description so it won’t get towed. We came back in 30 minutes later to find that he had towed our car! He even showed the picture of our car on his iPhone to confirm it is our car! He blamed it on the landlord and said that he couldn’t help us with that problem. But… how does that explain the receipts of towed cars on his desk?! I guess business is so bad you need to make extra cash? Needless to say we happily took our business elsewhere and saved $ 200 (the other premium we went with is $ 650) with 2x better coverage. Century Republic will never excel with bad business ethics and morals.

I just shop around and found this place. I am not their customer yet. But i like the service that i received from an agent named Jason. He is very helpful and knowledge. Very conscientious. He help me got the quote and answer all my questions promptly. By reading the others bad reviews. I think this place have changed there services style. Give them a chances people. I recommend agent Jason. You will like his service.

The service is rude.

TERRIBLE AWFUL EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I called in to ask a question and the guy (woman?) was extremely rude and sarcastic and told me he/​she did not have time to talk to me and basically hung up. I hope they go out of business because this is no way to treat someone.

When you buy the insurance, they must be affable and hospitable, and after that? You ‘re nothing.
The boss, he is VERY VERY VERY RUDE and FALSE

Great service, very professional, I highly recommend this place for all insurance needs, they answered all my questions and concern and I ended up paying a lot cheaper than before. They tried to find way to get me a discount on my policy. I’m glad I went there and my agent was super friendly and very helpful :)

Henry Khuu lacks phone etiquette and needs to take some classes on customer service.

The best rates I’ve found, and I have quite a horrible driving record. I was a customer for 4 years for that reason. I left them when my driving record got better. It’s true what the other customers say… the old lady is RUDE. I’ve spoken to her on the phone many times and she cuts you off before you can finish your sentence, snaps at you despite your most polite behavior, and berates you when she doesn’t know the answer to your question. Eventually, I called Mercury Insurance customer service. They normally direct you right back to your broker, but they heard my case and helped answer my question immediately! Thanks, Mercury. Other people in that office are also somewhat rude. Someone answered my question, and then hung up without letting me finish. Maybe it’s because they are uncomfortable speaking English. As for this woman… try asking for another broker if you reach her. You’ll only ruin your day otherwise.

Never get your car insured here. The only reason I’m insured here is because my parents have been a client with them for a long time. I’ve only been in this office on three separate occasions and all three times, the agent has pissed me off. The customer service here is terrible. Especially service from the older woman that works here.
My parents called in telling them that I will come in first to have pictures taken of my new car (this is because I was going here in between classes and a meeting) and then they will come in after to sign the paperwork. When I came into the office at 3PM, I specifically told them again that I need to leave soon because I have a meeting to attend and that my parents will come later. Not only did the girl who greeted me not seem like she knew what she was doing, she had me sit down and didn’t tell me anything.
I sat there for another 20 minutes before I said, «do you know how much longer it’s going to be before you take pictures of my car so I can leave?» The older woman snaps at me and says, «we’re not going to take a picture of your car until your parents come [plus some other mumbo jumbo]. So I responded by saying, «well, I would’ve appreciated that had you told us earlier instead of having me waste my time sitting here waiting when I have other things to attend to.»
Granted, what she said had some validity to it but her attitude was completely unacceptable. I’m a customer, not your child.

Seriously the worst business ethics I have ever witnessed. I will not be returning once my auto insurance expires.

One word — Rude.
Another word — Unprofessional.

The boss at this company was rude. They have a really bad services. I was at a mortgage waiting for them to send over my prove of house insurance and it took them 3 hours just to send it over. I called them 4 times to let them know I URGENTLY need it immediately but they said they are working on it. I cancelled the policy the next day. I advised people should never buy insurance here otherwise they will screw you over.

We have been looking around for a decent insurance agent for awhile and I guess we can now say that we came to the right place.
Basically this is how it went, we called in and got an auto quote. And then We came into their office and we they processed our policy. Yea sure, there’s a broker fee but hey, they know what they’re doing and it’s totally worth it. (I called around other agencies, for example American Center Ins and the guy tried to sell Life insurance to me when I told him that I didn’t want it and he couldn’t even tell me why it was a good company besides that it was a big one)
We’re pretty much satisfied
