Royal nail and spa

I’ve been here for pedicures and they were good. However, less than a week ago I went here for a gel manicure and would never go here again for gel nails. The man who did my nails was on his phone half the time and actually walked away at one point to take a phone call. I might even find that acceptable if my nails came out decent, but unfortunately, they did not. First, I asked him to make them shorter, and he said he could not do that (these are my real nails and they were not really that short). Then, when he did file them, they were really uneven – the nails didn’t match and some nails were slanted from the way he filed them. Finally, he did such a poor, careless job filing that a lot of nails were jagged and I had to ask him to fix them (he didn’t fix them all and I had to go home and file them myself). After having the gel on for less than a week (5 days!) the polish on 2 nails peeled right off. I would never recommend anyone to go here for a gel manicure.

The experience I had here was terrible. They were all very friendly but they messed up my nails and cut them way to short then refused to fix them. So I will not be coming back here again.
Update: I went back here awhile ago and not only did they mess up my nails AGAIN but they told me that my nails were different lengths. Which was because of them and said I needed new tips and tried charging me. Not only that but not even a week later the design was basically gone it was chipping off when I paid and asked for shellac. On top of all that literally two days after the gel chipped off and a chunk was gone. I’ve overall have had a horrible experience.

This is a new business and my first time visiting. I brought my girls for pedicures. There were friendly greetings in English the minute we walked in the door even though everyone was busy. The waiting area was comfortable and spacious and they have air conditioning. They offered us bottled water while we waited. I worry about sanitation in nail salons but this establishment seems to really care about safety. They even line the bowls with special plastic bags. The owner Tai showed me the sanitation machine when I asked as well. They even have a full-​time employee making sure everything is clean. They didn’t rush through the job and made sure we were happy. The rock massage was a very nice touch although it could have been a little longer. That aside, we were happy with the service and definitely will be coming back regularly.
